Today i built it, and its a good set. The one thing bothering me, it broke my 12 tooth gear! I had to replace it and make sure erything turns as easy as possible. I took a video of my build: It looks very nice, but lacks in functionality for me. Good for parts though!

Very good and funny review! The model really seems to suck, they just ctr+c ctrl+v the tractor, made a big megablocks trailer for it and repackaged it... The PTO could at least lift or lower the trailer, even though its not very realistic.

Differential always splits to the easyest side. The left side has friction and the right doesnt. This means the power normally goes to the right side. But when the load becomes higher than friction on left side, the power is sent to left side, where there is a higher gear ratio. Total gear ratio is between 1:1 and 5:1. Video:

The lifting mechanisem uses worm gears to rotate a handle, which lifsts and lowers the main arms. The second mechanisem used for tilting the showel is powered at the pivot point of the main arms. This way the showel is always at same level, no matter how much you lift or lower it. There is even a short chain drive squeezed in the back :) The wheels are powered by Xl motor, one is powered directly through the drive axle, and the other goes over 24 to 24 to 8 to 24 to 24 tooth gears.

A fully motorized skid steer loader :) Its very compact, but can lift high weight, and its very fast. In these videos, you can see him pick on the big boys :)

Only one 12 tooth gear broke once, but so far no problems! Strain is always high by these machiines, the way you contain that strain makes the difference :)

This is a truck i built few months ago. It features double XL motor drive, front 4 wheel steering, all wheel suspension and a large bed at back And video of truck going over a box:

So i decided to register here and enjoy this great community :) I am from Slovenia, my favourite theme is technic, so yeah i'm a gearhad :D I like to build offraders or heavy machinery, or anything else, that moves.
