Custom LDD bricks and fixes
Zerobricks replied to Equilibrium's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Awesome job, well done! Regarding cowling I think there might be some other connection point or such so they latch in/stay in the fender panel? Or is just their width holding them there? -

Hi. Please check the original posting date of the model. The fox 8x8x8 V2 is better in more or less all the ways. -
Technic 2021 Set Discussion
Zerobricks replied to LvdH's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I don't think weight is the limit. I built a 15 kg Go Card which can easily support and drive a 60kg person. It's all about redistribruting stress onto several bricks evenly. Heck if I had enough technic pieces and motors, I could probably build a 1:1 scale driveable vehicle, the biggest problem would be the wheel bearings and the wheels tehmslves, not the frame/chassis. Sorry for going off topic. -
That's a mistake, here's how it should be - it will be corrected. 4x PoweredUP outputs – Max continuous current per PU channel: 2 A – Max instantaneous current per PU channel: 3.5 A 2x Power Functions outputs – Max continuous current per PF channel: 4 A – Max instantaneous current per PF channel: 6 A – compatible with older 9V system motors (RC/Buggy motor) Max continuous power per PF channel: 48 W Max total power: over 100 W I can't say anything regarding delivery dates as of now.

Powered Up motors: L vs. XL
Zerobricks replied to FoxOne's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
That tells a lot... For now the only advantage of XL seem to be the additional mounting points if you want to use it as a structural part. -
Powered Up motors: L vs. XL
Zerobricks replied to FoxOne's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Good question indeed. I wish there was an official site where the differences could be better explained, I rememeber the PF components had quite detailed tech. specs. The only difference I spotted in the Lego Shop description was the following: L motor: Perfect for higher-load tasks. XL motor: Maximum power for the most demanding needs. Maybe it's a good question for the next designer interview. -
Distribution block uses
Zerobricks replied to 2GodBDGlory's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Glad to see it working. Maybe I'm gonna buy some of the valve blocks and try it myself. -
Distribution block uses
Zerobricks replied to 2GodBDGlory's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I think you could double the force of the pneumatic rams using these blocks by applying both positive pressure and negative "suck" to the cylinders. -
[MOC] BMW X3
Zerobricks replied to Jeroen Ottens's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It's instantly recognizable and I like the fact it's in a dark grey color. Like others said a video and more detailed shots would be appreciated. -

I think there are two 7L ones. -
I'm currently looking at the most "HOT" topics on the forum and it's kind of sad to see the following trend: The 100 something parts 42116 Skid Steer loader which was designed and optimized to be as cheap and with minimum amount of parts has more replies and activity than the 3500+ parts MOC of the Mclaren Senna. I don't think this would be as prelavant some 10 years ago, it seems nowadays people respect MOCs less and concentrate way more on sets?
