  1. Hmmm, I've been so inactive with Lego... I have a "black" edition standing on a shelf since forever, with tweaks to the bodywork using newer smaller panels, and... a drive-train with 2 buggy motors powered by 2 BuWizz (with the 4-speed transmission intact). I intended to build also CaDA's yellow version and then film the performance difference. But... I never got around to building the yellow version, it's still in the box. Ashamed... The fastest Lego 488 Pista around...
  2. Yep, I implemented a gearbox and manual operations. There are 4 different HOG functions in the front: HOG steering HOG gear shifting HOG left door HOG right door Plus, the rear wing is extended & retracted via a hidden gear underneath the rear.
  3. Sadly the photos don't display for me, links are broken. I wonder if it's just me... Would've loved to see this!
  4. I've seen that happen in clothing webshops too. Something like "spend over 100 bucks to get 30% off". Then, adding a 10 bucks item to a 95 bucks cart will decrease the total.
  5. @Zerobricks Thanks for the bump, I missed this last year... @Attika Awesome build! So will you attempt an even larger model now, with the new #7 connectors to make the wheels?
  6. If it's instead the white 3L friction pin, then we're talking 24 years. Only 1 was included in 1 set back in 2001: https://rebrickable.com/parts/6558/technic-pin-long-with-friction-ridges-lengthwise-2-center-slots/15/ There's a fun article about the white pin here: https://brickset.com/article/42059/is-this-the-rarest-technic-piece-ever
  7. Very impressive and fascinating project! I'll be eagerly following your write-ups.
  8. I'm just impressed by the way Technic and System bricks have been combined. Normally I'm very wary of mixing them, as the result will easily look jagged and just wrong. But here it works. Very skillful!
  9. What I really hate about this is that the text is likely partly AI generated, then likely used to train further AI models... Marketing is in an AI slop driven spiral of brain rot.
  10. There are nice videos on YouTube of people trying various ways to get lift with Lego. They might give you some inspiration. My favorite:
  11. @barbanera Nice detailing! I've been wondering if some lines could be sharpened using the newer, shorter panels that are now available in Lime...
  12. Yep that looks like fun, well done! I like how the color scheme of the model matches that of the building in front of which you filmed.
  13. Would've been nice if they had made a comparison with the #4 connector. I expect this elbow piece to be slightly longer than the #4 connector. Explanation here
  14. Haha, I find it really hard to take reviewers seriously when they comment on shaping and bodywork details, when their build has obvious mistakes...
