  1. This is great!! I would have definitely bought this as a kid (when I was more into the racing cars etc). I particularly like the transportation truck and the maintenance arm is lovely touch Fantastic work and happy building
  2. Yeah the magazines look great! The whole thing is shaping up very nicely I look forward to seeing what's next and the roof, happy building
  3. Holy wow! What a MOC!!!! I love that roof and loved seeing how you made it too! The details of the interior are fantastic and exterior details are just as good. Lots of animals and accessories and I think my favourite feature is the hen house, very cute Great MOCing and happy building to you!
  4. Really nice building and it does look exactly like the actual pub! Great work! I love the dark red an the windows on the second floor look really good too! Will you be aiming to make the interior exactly the same as the real pub? I've been trying to recreate my favourite pub in bricks but I'm finding the interior particularly difficult to get exactly the same... Great modular and I look forward to some interior, happy building

    MOC Sleds

Welcome to EB I love your sled, the laterns are a great touch and I love the legs (they only need to look good in my book ). As KringlesBricks says, it would be a fine addition to any winter village! Great work and happy building
  6. Oooo nice teaser!! This is gonna be gooood!!! I love the fridge and the curvey counter I will await the next pics eagerly, happy building
  7. Well I've finished my corner tunnel in LDD and managed to keep it at just over 1000 bricks on a 48 x 48 plate. For now I have made a small ruined house on top of it, it's inaccessible for the minifigs so it's quite over grown I just need to save up for the bricks now
  8. Glad to hear it was a successful day out for one and all! And great for the kids in many ways by the sounds of it I too look forward to seeing some pics, well done and happy building
  9. I also like both, but I think the grey breaks up the other colours well, with the brown it might look a little too much the same... Great work tho, I look forward to seeing your layout, happy building :)
  10. Fantastic recreations there LT! All with great interior details too, I like the paint thing in the mitre 10 store, I think it was there before? But my favourite building is the bank, great exterior on that :) I look forward to the next installment, happy building :)
  11. Awesome layout there, very impressive! Great mix of official sets and MOCs, I too really like the hospital and the farm is nice too! I like the construction site too and love how you've made the room for expansion... Great work and I look forward to more updates :)
  12. Holy wow!!! Amazing build by all involved! Your castle is fantastic and I love the little bridge out the front of it. And the landscaping is great throughout and that town so many buildings close together and yet it doesn't look too crowded, amazing! And I love the cave too Great work by all and happy building
  13. Whoah, that is a million times better than anything I was capable of at 11 years old! Hell, it's better than what I'm capable now!!! I particularly like the interior details but the whole MOC is awesome Well done to your brother and happy building for you and him!!
  14. Fantastic details in this mini modular!! You've managed to capture the look of the Parisian Restaurant really well!! And I love the look of all the minis together, looks great!! Great work and happy building
  15. Very Clever Ooo sounds interesting!!! I hope there will be a tunnel or two involved
  16. Oh wow, there's some great ideas here That's really interesting in the timelapse! Shows how many bricks really go into it... And plates turned sideways is a great idea too! That would dramatically save bricks. My tunnel is in a corner against a wall so I had already left the back two sides 'hollow'... You've been a lot more decorative than me, mainly because I figured no one would see it, I just chose the cheapest bricks on bricklink and used them Oh yeah I've seen your tunnel, and I must admit have been a little in awe about your layout to be able to comment I really love your tunnel and your layout, very inspiring! I'm interested in the mountain above the tunnel too, any 'behind the scenes shot on that one? And that's a really interesting tunnel design! Firstly I love the affect of the brick bricks and the tiles, that look awesome! And I would never have though of using a baseplate in that manner, very clever!!! These are certainly inspiring tunnels any more out there??
  17. 33.25 Euros is an extremely good price for just the loco, given the locos are selling for $70+ (50+ Euros) on Bricklink.... I very recently bought my HE from S@H and it was shipped to me in 6 days, so no issue with anything being sold out there, although some months from release. I would dearly love to be able to afford a second set to complete the train but I can't, and also can't afford to put any motors in it at the moment... I agree it's a very expensive train but I don't think that has stopped people from buying one or more of them.... It's just so pretty...
  18. Hello all, sorry to bump a 2 year old thread.. BUT... I read this thread word for word last night and am curious if in the 2 years following this there have been any great tunnels built?? I have started building a corner tunnel in LDD for my layout and would love to see some more inspiration from all you guys I'm also trying to figure out what to put on top of my mountain/tunnel.... Suggestions welcome... Thanks Sorry if bumping this was the wrong thing to do, I thought of making a new topic but then came across this one, seemed appropriate....
  19. Looking good, I don't think that pavement will ever get done the sprayer looks great too, and the truck Happy building
  20. Well as a LEGO (obviously) fan and a Simpsons fan I welcome this news. I would definitely buy a whole CMF series to get every character, whereas I have never bought a full CMF series to date! And people who are collecting the CMF will buy a set so they have a complete set anyway, sure sales may be down a little but I don't think it will be a flop.... Bring on The Simpsons LEGO, bring on 2014
  21. WOW, that is HUGE! And amazing! I wonder if you have enough minifigs to fill the stadium Also I love the scoreboard, great touch with an actual screen!!! I look forward to seeing the continuing construction of this epic build, happy building
  22. This is a great MOD, it looks just as good as the official set! I love the foyer and I think your version of the foyer is better than the official Great work and happy building
  23. Awesome idea, it would be fantastic to see a large layout with cars moving all around it!! Like you say, the trains shouldn't be the only things moving in the city! I can't wait to see updates and larger scale versions, happy driving
  24. Holy wow!!!! Those stained glass windows are a masterful piece of beauty!! The whole MOC is astonishing, I stared at the photos for a long time! I love the cemetery also, some very clever parts usage there and the abbey itself is of course amazing too! I wish I were in the UK to see it 'live' altogether! Happy building
  25. I am in the same camp as 'Redhead1982', not big on brick modification, having said that you have created a great effect with those plates and the string The MOC overall is great, my favourite bit is the details in the windows on the bottom floor! Great work and happy building
