  1. Thanks Charles, I appreciate your comments and glad you like the videos, I put a bit of work into them so glad at least one person enjoyed them And thanks for the link to the weather thread, after having read through it, it seems the temperatures my city will endure is very mild compared to some, so I'm pretty confident it should be ok!

  3. Thanks Rick, that's a great idea!! I'm off to add my town! Thanks again P.S. I like your little town BTW
  4. I love your unmarked FBI SUV!! It reminds of the FBI cars in GTA, and I love those cars!! Fantastic job and happy building
  5. Very nice start! I really like the door, great idea that!! I look forward to seeing the signage up Happy building
  6. Hi Wodanis! Thanks for that information, I didn't know the cold could do that... The town is actually under the house in the foundations, which although it is cooler than room temperature, it would never get below 15-17 degrees Celsius, and that would be in mid-winter. Is this cold enough to effect the bricks?? Living in Sydney we have a fairly temperate climate, although we get extremes in summer/winter times, generally it's relatively pleasant. My main worry of the holes was the dust and leaves that blow in, maybe I should be more worried...?
  7. Hi all, it's been a while since I've updated, and just today I have uploaded some photos on to flickr of my new layout. The city is outgrowing its base, so the next update you will see some new shelves and an even bigger layout!! Anyway, here's a few photos, for those interested there are more detailed shots on my flickr account (link in my sig) The panoramic view of the main street. The harbour and water area... The main street from the Town Hall end... And here's a video I made of this update: I hope you like the update and stay tuned for more over the next couple of months!
  8. Congrats to all the winners and competitors!! There were some great builds and everyone did a fantastic job
  9. Great wagon, I haven't seen the X-Files ep but I can imagine!! I love the details of the interior of your wagon and the exterior does look like it's hiding something, very well done!! Great work and happy building
  10. Wow, fantastic vehicles there, all of them!! My favourite is the yellow donut van, it's so cute :D and I really lie the bus and the Ford Capri as runners up! I can't wait to see your big layout, it so far looks amazing, happy building
  11. Since this topic got bumped.... Will this ever get updated? I asked for my layout to be added months ago and didn't get a reply. And it seems none of the other layouts have been updated for months/even years, despite there being updates posted (Caster-Troy's layout for example). It'd be great to see the appropriate layouts updated and new ones added, I love seeing layouts and seeing them progress throughout time... Thanks for all your hard work though, it is much appreciated
  12. That's awesome! I love the overall look of it with the landscaping you've put in. I too would love to see a video of it working It's so big, this next layout you're working on must be rather large, I can't wait to see what you have planned! Happy building
  13. So much LEGO needed, so little money...

  14. Hahaha, these sets are CRAZY!! It seems like the movie is going to be crazy, crazy good that is :D can't wait!
  15. Very clever designs there! I particularly like the drink (I always get Fanta when I go to McDonalds ) Great work and happy building
  16. I was thinking the same thing, there are some great details that tend to get lost in the white. But it's a great building and would look good on any modular street!! Well done and happy building
  17. Looking good as usual! I too like the new stickers there, they look great!! I'm looking forward to the next update, happy building
  18. Wow, incredible build and great re-invention of the hot rod club! It was one of my favourite sets from my childhood along with the Octan service station, and you have sort of re-invented both here (shame it's not Octan brand ). The details throughout the build are incredible, from the bits and pieces available in the store to the amazing details in the club itself and the bike rack very well thought out and put together!! Congrats on your chapter in the book, I will be keeping my eye out for the release and happy building
  19. This is a fantastic bridge! I'm not familiar with the original bridge but I just googled it, I think yours is most impressive!! I'm working on something similar for my layout but in minifig scale, it's very difficult to get it right. Well done and happy building
  20. This is a fantastic idea and incredibly well thought out MOC. The mini builds are amazing and the minifigs you've created are phenomenal! And that map of the world the perfect detail to wrap up a super MOC! Congratulations and happy building
  21. Wow, wonderful building! That must have given you many headaches trying to find the right pieces in pearl gold to make your carriage. It looks fantastic though! You should be proud. Fantastic work and happy building
  22. Oh cool cat :D I want him and I want the coffee guy (mainly for the cup), the octan guy (mainly for the mug) and Panda Suit Guy, that's about it... Probably until I see the movie, then I'll want all of them
  23. Definitely worth it! I went through the exact same process about 4-5 months ago and have not regretted it! It's a lovely train and a fun build! Hope the postman hurries up for you, happy building
  24. Excellent MOC, it really does have a great Wild West feel to it! All the buildings are great and I love the water tower. The train is also very well done but my favourite bit is the cactus out the back, great touch Congrats on your 2nd place and happy building
  25. Cool, looking good so far! I like the hose system you've made... Can't wait to see how the rest turns out! Happy building
