  1. Nice work, you've captured the contours well! I guess it's too small to power with PF (or even 9v)?
  2. Looking good! Great to have so much space for layout. I've found I can never have enough sidings for all of the trains I hoard in my layout but you look like you'll have plenty. Looking forward to see it come together - "brick on"!
  3. Nice use of brick separators - been wondering how I could incorporate these in to an MOC!
  4. Nice, think you've captured the contours pretty well!
  5. Great build - scale works well for this, being a good balance for detail and not overwhelming your Lego City! Colour works really well in particular.
  6. Worth trying BrickSet.com? Not sure if they need/want sticker scans but I'd find it useful on older sets (and I'm sure they take box cover scans).
  7. Nice! Every city needs one of these :)
  8. Love the stagnant water effect!
  9. Nice, especially as a model of the original. I'm looking at building some line side buildings for my layout: I have the top level of the hut from 60009 Helicopter Arrest as one line side shack, and have my eye on the garage/shack in the newer 60046 Helicopter Surveillance for another, too.
  10. Someone on MOCpages has created a fairly simple attempt here which looks OK. Can't see any other good attempts in minifigure scale!
  11. Nice! Functional stuff like that always looks great on a club display/layout!
  12. The bonnet/front lights on 7737/7642 look brilliant!
  13. Are you getting a lot of wheel slip? Easiest solution to that is usually to add some weight above the wheels, but I don't remember having to do that on my Emerald Night. Could also depend on the type of track you're using with it? Hope that helps somehow!
  14. Nice work! Doorway detailing is stunning. Have you seen Durham Cathedral in Lego (community effort, but another gothic cathedral!)? Quite a few photos on the Facebook page of progress.
  15. Love it! Tend to prefer the multiple buildings in a block style, such as Pet Shop. Perhaps the private detective is assigned with finding the seagull from Parisian Restaurant? ;)
  16. Best build: lots of detail and a nice, sleek finish. The front cab is really nicely done in particular.
  17. Ditto on that - great layout and I love the station. Love the multilevel set up particularly.
  18. Nice, old-style town feel to the build, in newer City colours!
  19. Brilliant effects, especially on the white building as others have said. And pretty well translated, too :)
  20. Fantastic. What could beat beer, music and Lego? ;)
  21. Nice work, Lasse. The unusual angles really help this build to stand out!
  22. Something I've seen done I thought was a great idea is to have a "find these things" list to give/display to kids at the show (eg, find 10 Santa's, or find 5 superheroes on the layout). Seems like a good way to let them look all over the layout and potentially less likely to grab things? Hopefully getting to be involved in a Lego train show next year near me, so be interesting to hear your feedback on what was useful for you, and what didn't work too. Hope it goes well for you!
  23. Great MOC. A and B units in particular caught my eye.
  24. Nice layout, looks great fun. Are you planning to add landscape/City around it?
  25. Looking good. Any photos from different angles?
