  1. Same here: awesome set, one of my favourite City style trains of all time.
  2. This definitely beats your Queen billboard. Stunning.
  3. I paid £160 GBP for my Maersk; works out to 315NZD I think, so your budget seems about right. Out of the new blue cargo train and the Maersk set, I'd go for the Maersk; much more complex/satisfying build. But, no track or motors!
  4. Ah, thanks. I managed to get one original Sante Fe, but considering building another set - just don't want to spend silly money trying to replicate it! The blue and yellow does look really nice though, so might tempt me!
  5. Very nice! Are parts easier to find in these colours than for the original Lego Sante Fe model?
  6. Nice model! Love the bridge in particular for some reason. Stickers on doors are great too - are they from official set?
  7. Brilliantly done! Crowd looks dangerously close ;)
  8. Really nice; love the glass/wood paneling effect!
  9. Get in line ;) Passenger train looks good to me - looks very swish on tracks. Shame about lack of doors and uncovered gaps in the train floor, but those can be fixed!
  10. Nice! Are you planning on building a couple of them?
  11. The modular vet building looks particularly great!
  12. Thanks, nice detail :)
  13. Lovely model, and I like the Lego rail stickers :)
  14. Wow, great exhibition LT!
  15. Stunning model; so much detail in such a small space!
  16. Great model! Have to ask: what's behind the 3x1x1 door panel in th chassis?
  17. Great model - looks like it runs very smoothly!
  18. Love 3661, and this is a great mod to it. Would fit nicely among my modulars!
  19. Stunning city (and one I think a saw a while ago on Brickset?)! Coming along nicely :)
  20. Awesome model. I take it the model can negotiate a standard Lego curve?
  21. Absolutely. I'd love the space to build out larger radius curves but the the space I have contains me to smaller radii and I'd rather have more loops of track than realistic curves for now, to let me run multiple trains at the same time. Fully understand the desire for larger radius curves if you have the space available though!
  22. Nice interpretation of the original. I actually think your colour scheme looks nicer!
  23. I run PF trains on 9V track too (don't own a 7938 yet though). The yellow cargo train was slipping quite a bit, but I found adding some Lego weight bricks (see ebay or bricklink) helped (or even coins, failing those); just needs a bit more weight to ensure traction!
  24. Neat mechanism! Sometimes the simplest solution is the most satisfying :)
