  1. Nice! Would love to see a video of trains running over it.
  2. Really nice! I particularly like the pattern of the paving stones - simple but effective.
  3. @rsb0204 / @redimus Wouldn't mind a look myself if you do manage to find the instructions!
  4. I don't think there were instructions to build Mallard from Emerald Night parts (at least from what I remember seeing on here), but there was a post on building the Flying Scotsman from Emerald Night a while back. I suspect there wouldn't be enough curved parts in the colours needed to build the distinctive curve on the front from purely EN parts. Hope that helps!
  5. Wow, that's fantastic! Really like the use of non-Technic bricks, gives a much smoother finish
  6. Nicely done. The up/down motion of barriers is maybe a bit brutal, but it works! Liked the moo-ing cow in the video ;)
  7. Very cool! Worth the effort :)
  8. This was one of my favourite sets as a child. The jail was really well done! By the way - is that the wrong windshield piece on the boat in the individual photo?
  9. Nice work! The wheel plates seems a little far out to me (bit hard to tell as I'm only on my phone), but the patterning is superb!
  10. Can tell which Lego sets I had as a kid ;)
  11. Instantly recognisable for me! Face is spot on. Great model - like you I want the set but it doesn't really fit with the modular style of my other buildings, so this has given me a few ideas and a reason to spend the £180! ;)
  12. Love the luggage car. Is that a safe from the western sets I see?
  13. It's always sunny in Lego City. Which must be why the fire department is so large: all those dry weather fires starting... ;)
  14. No kidding ;) I'm after a few of the cattle trucks too, largely to add to my farm. Looking good, though I'd be tempted to add roofs to the wagons to protect the cattle in bad weather!
  15. Nice, great plough. Wonder how it'll compare to the Snow Plough coming in the City 2015 line up!
  16. Much better. The original never really looked right to me, and it must've been the rear wheel placement ;)
  17. Great review, thanks for posting. I love this set, one of my favourite Creator houses of all time. I didn't bother building the car, which for me is the weakest part of the set, but the remainder of the set and the inclusion of the light brick feature are fantastic. As cei says, the layout of the house is a bit lacking, but easily resolved with a few extra bricks!
  18. Love this, particularly the uneven paving stones - very realistic :) The mismatched roof tiles work really well too.
  19. Great video, thanks for making/sharing!
  20. Really nicely done, I love this! The interior is stunning.
  21. Some great models in this thread! I have a 7997 myself but preferred the new 60000 station so use that. Having seen ritztoys' and Murdoch17's efforts I feel a PAB order looming!
  22. Nice city! I really like he placement of the museum: did you build a back for it or leave it open like the original?
  23. Not usually a fan of winter village sets but I really like this set! The toy machine is brilliantly done, almost worth buying the set for that alone ;)
  24. Thanks for taking the time to review, as always, Whitefang. After reading your review there are more minifgures in this series I want than I initially thought!
  25. Love the roof texture - with all those olive green cheese slopes, have you purchased a Parisian Restaurant recently? ;)
