  1. After having his honorable suite ignominiously rejected, the King of Carno decided it was high time to be getting back home to his capital. Leaping onto his charger, he tore out of Bellson in a whirling hurry, without any intention whatsoever of slackening his pace until he was seated in his throne, and had time to sit back and contemplate recent events - also known as, his complete failure. The king was charging through a pine tree forest on his return to Carno when he happened to hear some rustling in the underbrush. Suddenly a troop of Corrington's finest poured out of the forest at his flanks, leveling their rifles and running towards him. Figuring (and correctly so), that the escort was not meant as a piece of courtesy on the part of Queen Annette, the king relieved the closest soldier of his shako with a hearty swing of his cane - the soldier, of course, stooping down to lift it from the ground (everyone knowing that a Corry is no good unless his uniform is all correct and tidy) - and, setting spurs to his horse, burst through the ambush. Turning his head back for a moment he exclaimed (without slowing his charger a bit), "Corrington, prepare for a visit from my Captain Whoknowswho! And you can't say we didn't warn you!" The king: My build for the Carno vs. Corrington case, including the required palm trees. This is actually the second part of our collab, and the first and third should be coming soon! Thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome!
  2. Monthly Free Build Registration Thread June 1st, 2016 to July 1st, 2016 What is this thread? This is the thread where YOU register your free build, besides submitting it via the webform. So, why are we doing this again? This thread is both an index of builds so that they may be easier to find for members, and a backup for the Economic Game System. As a back up of Free Builds and MRCA builds, we won't be using this thread for calculating your account. Please remember to submit the form for your Free Build or MRCA build. What do I need to do? Simply write the following information in a NEW post: Name of MOC linked to the thread | Name of Builder | Faction you belong to IE: Smuggler's Cove | Kai NRG | Eslandola Write no more. Note: All free builds must have their own thread, and there must be a link to that thread provided here. After you are finished making a thread, make sure to report your free build via the monthly webform so that you can get credit for it! Remember, if this build is going to have an Economic Game System component (IE you are going to buy a license and make money off the property) you will need to fill out either a Property License Form or a Ship License Form. Do not comment on builds in this thread, please do that on the MOC’s own thread. Can I just post in my faction thread and leave it at that? Um... No. Can I put up an entry for another faction member's build? If that builder has disappeared and we are getting near the end of the month, this would be allowed. What if I can't remember if a submitted a build? If you don't remember submitting a form, use the Free Build Entry List to find out what builds you've already submitted. An email will be sent containing a list of all builds submitted. Spelling is important. Is this just a copy of GoH's free build registration thread? No! I don't have any idea what made you think it is. The idea was a completely original one and has absolutely nothing to do with GoH's one. (Yes, actually it is ) Why does this look a lot like the previous ones? Because it is the same, that's why Previous Months: January's Free Build Registration Thread February's Free Build Registration Thread March's Free Build Registration Thread April's Free Build Registration Thread May's Free Build Registration Thread
  3. Very nice pirate ship with some truly impressive lanterns in the back, Jacob Nion! Great job with the aftcastle and the jib and square sails as well!
  4. Very funny background story, Ska, but I must say that the pirate did an extraordinarily good job for half of a sawed up ship! Really, quite a nice little ship, and she definitely looks like she's well armed!
  5. It is Brethren of the Brick Seas. You're welcome over there any time!
  6. Lovely fort, Ayrlego, the color-scheme and texture are spot-on, and your photography is brilliant, as always! The cannon array and bulkiness of the tower give it a very powerful look, and the light trans-blue water adds just the right amount of color to the build. Beautiful job!
  7. How ever is that a medium sized ship? Excellent job once again, KB, the sailplan looks great, and I see your Oleon flags are just getting larger and larger! Keep it up! (Building ships, that is, not necessarily making larger flags every time! )
  8. Excellent scene, Mike, that tree is fantastic, and great work with the composition of the rest of the build as well! And very nice job hiding that native in the first and last pics!
  9. Excellent frigate, Dukesc, great job with the rigging and shape on this one - especially on the stern! - and the color-scheme is very nice as well! My only nitpick would be the bumble-bee striped rudder, which is a tad distracting - but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing it with sails! Great job!
  10. Very nice build, Kai, that road technique is superb, and the restaurant is excellent, especially the windows and the black tiled section at the bottom! Great job with the interior and minifig activity as well!
  11. Love that reliable bit of story you put with it, Tomsche! Good job on the prospecting scene itself too, the colors actually mix together rather well, although I do think that a few more small green pieces on the lime half might tie the whole build together a bit better. The officer's pose with the map is great though!
  12. Lovely ship, KB, that hull is superb, and the rigging and masts are excellent as well, as is the color-scheme! Altogether a tremendously fast looking ship, and one of my favorites of yours yet!
  13. Excellent build again, Capt. Wolf, very nice house, the color-scheme and arches are particularly neat. Great job capturing the lively atmosphere with the marketplace as well, the stands, pens, and minifig posing are superb! Great job here!
  14. Excellent prospecting scene, Elostirion! The rock-work is great, and the olive is a great complement to the build! That sign and the torch add a lot to it as well,
  15. Excellent idea, and very funny build, Captain B! The bit about gullible tourists and the AFFEs was especially hilarious!
  16. Alright, I'll bite the bullet and sign up for Carno! And I'm glad we finally get to be on the same side, JN! I'll get a PM started for the Carno side in just a minute!
  17. Very funny expressions on those butchers' faces, and great build all around! I really like your characteristic clean style, and the way your presentation pops! Excellent work! My only piece of advice here, really, would be that as you seem to have a thick enough wall, it would make the interior just a bit more complete if you had built the other side of the door as well in stuck it on the inside. A very minor nit-pick in an otherwise very fine build though!
  18. Every platoon is worth 2 in the crew rating, and every ship may take on board only enough troops to double the original crew rating, rounded down (e.g, a Class 5HA has a crew rating of five, and can take on two platoons of soldiers, which raises its crew rating to 9 - but it cannot take on three, as that would make the rating 11 which more than doubles the original rating. Platoons cannot be broken down into smaller army units).
  19. Another lovely ship, KB, the hull is excellent, and those cannon and the flag are simply superb!
  20. Beautiful color-scheme on the ship, and excellent job overall! The rigging looks very good, and the entire ship has a kind of classic but still polished look that is really superb! Really, my one (and only) piece of advice would be the same as Blackdeathgr's - that is, the stern looks a bit odd without any windows at all - but excellent job once again, and I hope you will be able to get some very good runs with her!
  21. Excellent forced perspective, KB! Really gorgeous micro-mansions, and the Galaxie is very recognizable and quite superb! Very nice job with the interior of the office, as well as with the story - looking forward to where you guys will be taking this!
  22. Excellent build SK, the brown and dark brown really do look superb together, and the path and snow are very nice as well, especially the snow on the roof! Lovely interior too - overall a beautiful phase 3 storehouse!
  23. Nice build, SW, the house is neat, and your use of masonry bricks looks quite good as well, although it does rather give the impression of a more established settlement. That flagpole and flag for some reason just look excellent, and, although, as Kai mentioned, the build could use some more tiles, overall you've done a very good job!
  24. Excellent job and really lovely addition, Captain Wolf, the activity is superb, and the lower section with the side door really perfects the scene. Great job!
