  1. Beautiful build, Gabe, the rock-work and arch are superb, and you really nailed the Norse look with the architecture as well! Excellent photography too, looking forward to more of Erudhalion's adventures!
  2. Very clever way to finish off your quest, I'm guessing that poor Tholeau is really going to get it now! Great minifig posing, and excellent story! This part was especially hilarious (and private Collins' graze with the pistol shot )
  3. Awesome build, Gabe, great to see you here again! Torgar's rock-work technique is really excellent, and you did a superb job incorporating the dwellings, and with that working lift! My favorite shot, though would be the one from the back - stupendous interiors, great attention to detail, and those lights really put it entirely over the top! Oh, and does that handle in the back house the elevator's motor? Great job again, looking forward to more GoH builds from you!
  4. Excellent build, kabel, lovely waterfall, and great landscaping as well! Looking forward to their further adventures too, any chance of them stumbling across a certain fountain? Great job! Oh, but my one nitpick would be that I would love to have an overview pic for this!
  5. Thanks Captain Dee! It's a bit of a complicated technique, but I'll see if I can remember to do a tutorial for them next time they pop up in one of my builds! The two trunks on the left - well, this technique is awfully piece consuming! Two pine trees is about my max now, but I did want the third trunk (especially for closeup shots) to give it a bit more of an immersive forest feel. The king - yes, he likes living on the edge! I definitively did envision him as a rather eccentric character, but he also discovered the impossibility of building a royal carriage on a 20x20, and thus was rather... restricted! I did build half of a carriage (though Kai had already warned me about the probabilities of getting it to fit ), but gave up once I discovered that, minus the harness and horses, it was already too large for the base! Thanks again though!
  6. Very nice little vessel, Bregir! Your work with those sails really paid off, and the minifigures and color-scheme (except the blue stripe at the bottom, I'm not too sure about that! ) are excellent as well! The slope on the hull and the 2x2 tiles work quite nicely, and while I think that a bit of another slope at the bottom would have helped somewhat, I'm really not sure how that could be implemented! Quite a neat job, though, it is great to see such a large variety of ships in the Brick Seas!
  7. Your story is definitely starting to get quite interesting! The building and landscape are very nice, and your Masa palms look great here! I'm certainly looking forward to seeing where you take your story!
  8. Another lovely church building, Capt. Wolf, excellent stonework, texture, and shape on the exterior, and the inclusion of an interior is always a bonus! @Elostirion & Jacob Nion, It is perfectly fine as it is. I can see very well (it being my own case, for one!) how someone who might wish to build a church would not want to make it for the worship of 'Poseidon' or some other good (?), and especially as it is a church in Capt. Wolf's own town and in the nation of Eslandola, there is no problem at all. That sentence was put into the signup thread particularly for this purpose.
  9. Very nice build, and an interesting take on the challenge! The short stone wall and vines are excellent, and the minifig posing and establishment are quite nice as well I'm rather curious, though - why did Tholeau "poof" and not Gawyn, did he drink to much?
  10. Beautiful sky(ceiling? ) scraper, wooootles, all that trans-blue looks superb, and the overall shape, interior detail, and scale are absolutely impressive! Great job!
  11. Awesome tree, Mike, and great to see you building in the guilds again! Excellent part usage, and the black trunk really works wonderfully! I hope we'll be seeing more of your monster hunting adventures soon!
  12. The snow and frozen lake are superb here, and the round gateway is unique and looks very good as well! I do think that the guy up there might get a bit cold if there was much wind though!
  13. Some very nice sculptures and an excellent build, Captain B, and the slab of rock in the room waiting to be turned into something or another is a great addition! The chandelier and basic look of the bottom story is great as well!
  14. Nice build, Pvt, the path is quite good, and the Bjorr's pack is great as well! I hope Edd will be able to recover, it sounds pretty bad!
  15. Quite an impressive build, Captain Dee, but an even more impressive story! Quite the tale! Back on the build - very nice work with the piano (and turntable), and I dare say that dangling so much gold from the ceiling on that chandelier was some feat! The architecture and throne are excellent as well, and really my one nitpick would be that I would think that the hanging baskets would look better if there were one or two less colors with the leaves or flowers - they are just a bit overpowering as it is. Excellent job overall though, and I'm looking forward to more builds from you!
  16. Speaking of court cases... My build for the Corrington vs. Carno case:
  17. Thanks Capt. Wolf! I thought it was about time I tried Kai's technique out - and you'll notice I (wisely) went for a relatively small footprint with it ! Thanks Titus! I believe this is my favorite version of these pine trees as of yet! Thanks Kai, I was quite happy with how that shot turned out as well!
  18. Ha, ha, if you want to go right ahead! And yes, oscillating parts of builds can be a big pain!
  19. Quite a nice ship, Tomsche, and very good - if a bit small! - photo setup too! Great job with the shape and the color-scheme, I just hope she doesn't get sunk by a bunch of Corries by mistake! A couple of things that would greatly improve it, though, would be some tiles or SNOT work, and if you could get that square sail to billow out a bit (lowering a top spar would probably fix that)
  20. Very nice minifigures, Isundir, the Yeomen being my favorites! And don't worry about the number of the same figs - if I have two similar ones I'm generally pretty happy!
  21. Congrats, SK, and great overview of your time in Mitgardia! Like Kai, I kept recognizing builds and then thinking, whoa, that actually was quite a long time ago! Keep it up!
  22. Very nice a powerful looking ship, the technic sails are excellent, and the shape and stern with the gold details are great as well! A couple of pieces of nitpicks I have would be that the bowsprit should be thicker - at least I'm thinking that a thicker one would look a lot better on such a large ship - and that the spanker sail rather clashes in texture with the others, maybe tiling it off would have matched better. Excellent job overall though!
  23. A couple of very nice builds, Captain B, I'm glad to see that the Mayor George Alberto da Pontelli is getting to meet some of the other rather famous figures in Nova Terra - and it's always great to see lots of sig-figs in people's builds (there's KB too, I see! ) The interior scene is particularly excellent, great idea with the animals and ship things on the walls, and the chandelier and roasting pig are very nice as well!
  24. Very nice interior, Bregir, the curved window is excellent, and that lantern outside really adds a lot to the scene! The black accents are great, and the missing tiles do not stand out too much - excellent job!
