Man, I'm super glad you got time to develop this, great little scene you built it into - that doesn't stop me from still being crazy intrigued by this technique and wondering what this would look like if we zoomed out a bit more I'm a bit curious if you had given it the thought - is it an interior, an open castle courtyard, the bases of a bunch of adjacent turrets on a castle, or the supporting wall of a secret subterranean dwarven tunnel?

Great job thinking outside of the box here, now you've got me wanting to see how this technique would work for wavy water at a large scale Hilarious conversation about the name as well

It's so big! I love that you went for the inside of the circle here instead of the outside, great job showcasing the versatility of this technique! So many fun details too like the mouse's hole, the butterflies on the wall (I'm curious if that was a nod to the Lepidopterology build now!), and the scene outside the window, as well as the advancement of science going on in the main part of the build of course!

Yep, I'll second the others that MOCs of things in construction are always fun to see! Great to get another circular staircase too, and the sawhorse is a neat little design. I'm wondering if that other tree is going to survive though, looks like they might need a bit more wood to finish this off!

Love the bold colors and the unexpected turns this challenge brought out! Those giant butterflies are hilarious, as well as the purpose of a tower in Historica being to study them! We've come a long way as the Guilds of Historica Very pretty tower, the larger circle at the top is great as well as those large windows, both of those seem to subtly hint at this tower's purpose being less warlike than most!

That staircase is sweet, great job taking advantage and expanding on the circular nature of the tower like that! The doorway and windows are very nice as well as the balcony, looking forward to seeing this finished, it'd be awesome if you managed to get some lighting into it too

That blue is insane! Glorious stuff, love how you've weaved all that black together, especially with the stern and the castle Phenomenal build, mate, a year well spent

It's so big! Really imposing while still fitting on a relatively medium size base, love those flying butresses and the tree in the center!

Super pretty! Love the angles and slopes on the walkways, and that low-angle shot up at the dome really shows it off nicely! I'm impressed by how well you were able to keep both the rockwork and the vegetation looking micro-scale and grand at the same time, really nice job

This is a lovely little build, the rockwork and little cabin are great, and honestly this is one of my favorite uses of those sand green leaves I've seen in a build ever! Excellent choice of background color too, haha - looking forward to more of Per the Bard's adventures!

Ooh, this is so good! The aesthetics are beautiful and there are a bunch of lovely details, with the fence windows and the triangle peaked gables being my favorite bits! And all while keeping that perfect balance where it's both an elegant MOC and a set remake at the same time - lovely stuff mate!

That's a sweet vessel, mate! Lovely color-scheme, and the gun-deck shot is just perfection (I do have a soft spot for ship interiors, ) Any chance we'll get to see this beauty with sails unfurled?

Love the bookshelves and the conflagration, but that portal/rug on the floor! That must have takn some dedication!

Really fun little build, I wish we saw more of these! That roof technique looks lovely, and I like the curved tiles for the gateway, and of course the opening for stone dropping is fun!

Ooh, what a lovely ship! Everything is extremely well done, especially that rigging (I'm gonna have to go purist on that sometime!), but I'm definitely taking notes on the use of those golden crowbars and the beautiful curves you've managed on the hull with those large 4x4 corner curved slopes! Such an elegant and smooth shape Callout to the ingenious attachment of the railing on the angled part astern too!

I hope you're happy with this 'cause that's some lovely photography! The pose and rigging are of course great as well, must have been a pain to hold it for long enough to be painted though!

Aye, it's a pretty good compromise then! Or then again, you could try black slopes, they'd probably blend in fine if you had any on hand

Aha, that's quite clever! I had noticed that one Steve had his back to the camera and was therefore likely sporting a different face, but I hadn't noticed the absence of the complete original! But then, you had at least (a few of!) Steve's face, whereas I will likely be rummaging my sister's collection with my fingers crossed even for that!

Lovely frame, the water and island look quite pretty too against the brown and gold you've got going on there! In general the ship is quite nice as well (those brown bars for rigging at this scale are great!), but I think it's a bit too chaotic for the eye to capture what's happening Going a bit simpler, maybe less colors (I know the red and white sails and the black in the hull are obvious Classic Pirate references, but if you were to make the sails all white, the lower hull and masts all brown (or dark brown ) except the cannons, and keep the black, yellow and red for a few highlights and deck details (like maybe a black capstan, yellow railings, and some red on the flags) I feel like the overall visual impact would be much stronger and the explosions and wreckage would stand out a lot more clearly. At any rate, if you give it a try I'd love to see how you mod it! Otherwise, as I said on your other entry, I'm loving the presentation and the system style branding! I hope at least some of the suggestions are useful, if not for this than for future builds! Keep up the good work!

Ah, nice little micro, that jib sail is particularly sweet, don't know that I'd seen that part before! The birds are a nice addition as well, although it'd be great if you could figure out some way of connecting the two halves of the larger one - after puzzling my brain over it for a while the best I could come up with to keep your current technique would be a rubberband doubled over a hooked a couple of times over the two clips (if you had time to do that I'm honestly quite curious as to whether it would work perfectly or not at all! Pretty sure it'll be one of the two, hahaha!) The shark fin is a fun addition too, and if you're feeling adventurous (and have enough leeway parts-wise to still meet the category requirements!) a few curved yellow plates beneath the ship might look fabulous for the sunset reflecting off the ocean - or then again might not, never venture never win! I do quite like the Viking plumes for flags too, I'd only ever seen or used hands for that before at this scale that I recollect (or horns, to be sure) - this is the second time I'm seeing the plumes for this contest though, I'm wondering if I've been blind all this time or its just the new craze!
