  1. If You want to build a static model, than I recommend to use 2 pcs of that hinge parts for each joint, just like Lego did for some of the new Ninjago mechs. This will result much sturdier construction. or like this: Another nice option would be, if You use linear actuators, so You can set the leg angles by adjusting them. A bit more boring if it is meant to play, but better if it is meant for display poses.
  2. @HorcikDesigns must know more details about that build, as he won a Trophy against. This is a direct link to the MOC, but I have difficulties with the language. http://www.kostky.org/forum/index.php?topic=51003.0
  3. That rig looks badass! I really like the double winch system, finally not a crane on a truck. Clever system for the trailer too, they indeed build a nice combo. The truck not only looks massive, but also the performance looks to be Mammoth-ish. I am curious about a pulling test video, knowing Efferman's work, I am pretty sure we will see one soon. Great MOCs!
  4. It was a honor to see this version in person, and I must say: the driving experience and speed difference was breath taking... and still is! I never thought that a LEGO built car can behave like that. It was so fun to drive this red devil around, do power slides, fly over the stairs... The overhaul of the design is well executed, we - exactly: my buggy - lost (found!) only 1 part during the filming session. Great work @kbalage, and thanks for the opportunity!
  5. Thanks I_Igor, that is the plan, in the grapple boom it was easy to hide the hoses, I need to figure out the most nicer arrangement for the main cylinders + make it match for the steering system. We will see.
  6. Some progress, build ability and pneumatics testing. As assumed, the hoses will cause some head scratches yet, but I will do my best to hide them.
  7. Ingenious solutions, and very well packed ones! Love it.
  8. Finally had some time for video editing for this little monster - very short durability test. Special thanks for @kbalage for the videography! Enjoy the trip!
  9. Finaly more details, thanks for sharing! I still like it very much, but the stand is a bit let down for me in a ~1200 pcs set. I was hoping for sime kind of spring loaded kick-stand, fold it up while rolling and playing, and fold it down for standby mode. It would be even realistic - in case we can speak realism in terms of Mechs, and fantasy based animated movies. There is not much left: part bins and modding, we are AFOLs after all!
  10. Wow, that is quite busy design, barely to observe the 41999 below the decoration. For a normal MOC it would be way too much, but Halloween is a different dimension. I like the extra motorized functions!
  11. Great review, wacky little set, but somehow I don't feel the urge of buying... maybe on sale. The face printing issue is (should be) really awkward, I would even say: it is not acceptable from a company like LEGO in this century.
  12. I am not here to polish the model, but the review! I am happy to see how You improved the reading experience with the interactive pictures - would love to see this as new standard. As mentioned before, even not building this model (probably never), reading the review makes feel like I did. Thanks for the long-lasting journey!
  13. That was fun video, nice editing with music, and sound effects! Can we expect sneak peek, or maybe full introduction about the Zombie Hunter rig?
  14. Small progress, building the rear axle assembly. Although it is unconventional in building directions (every connections are vertical on the shafts), it feels rigid enough. EDIT: and the front pendular axle is also on the way:
  15. Legal? Might be. Ethical? For sure not. Unfortunately those two don't walk hand in hand, and many people don't even understand the difference due to lack of social / educational background. You can for sure comment / kindly ask him to add notes and credits to all of the builders - as he did for many of his videos but not for all.
  16. Finally, I got the chance to gather the dream ship of mine: 70810 Metalbeard's Sea Cow - MISB, original price. Might be not a bargain, but a true icon of the LEGO universe. (FYI: it is my 75192... ) I am a happy puppy. Period.
  17. Excellent MOC and photography again, good to see You back! LEGO is a very good way to get rid of all the outer (and inner) world for a while, it helped me too to let go some stressfull life situation. Keep on building, and keep being active!
  18. @JasonEffexI just finished the build, the black flex axle really tends to escape from it's position, but still remains there. I haven't noticed the separation problem, my best guess is, that the axles don't turn smooth (almost zero friction should be there). So the force You add, instead of apply on the gears in form of rotation, will be redirected on the bracket (bricks), and start to separate them. I suggest to disassemble, check the freedom of rotation. Although I have some Technic routine, I also had to play a bit to get perfect positioned the gears and the half bush on the cross axle. I hope this helps! The clutch mechanism is awesome, simple yet reliable, I raise my virtual hat for the designer! Fun must be shared. Main thing that it works in real build too. I forgot to mention: the review is fantastic, love all the details and the picture's quality - thank You for that!
  19. What a wonderful MOC, project goal is reached, perfect demonstration material as all the functions are visible on the spot, still clean lines. I like it very much! Should be an instant LEGO set.
  20. One of the best captured, and stylish built Technic car ever. Love every bit of it, the rear structure with the small panels is superb!
  21. I don't mind how the words are formulated, Buwizz seems affordable and dedicated enough for Lego applications to consider the result as respectable. Liked the videos, I really appretiate that You create storylines and some concept for presentation, much more entertaining. Thanks for that!
  22. 18: 10 20: 6 22: 4 15: 3 8: 2 12: 1 Great entries, congratulations to all!
  23. I just love this set (but the whole TLNM series is amazing), the Jet is very unique, and the crab mech is one of the greatest creepy small build ever. Though, I thought the Jet deserves a bit more sophisticated rear landing gears, so I made an easy fix, which still keeps the original handle function too. I will build my copy with this MOD, I think it blends well into the original design. You can check the LDD file here, enjoy!
  24. Great to see it in real build, and more important thing to appretiate, that it works flawless. Great job!
  25. Sorry for bumping, but this might be interesting for some of the proud owners of 42056, and I don't remember seeing this on Eurobricks yet. What a nice geekness, now nobody can blame LEGO for not making the perfect copy of the real thing - check the GALERY for 7 downloadable high-res pictures on this link: https://newsroom.porsche.com/en/products/porsche-911-gt3-rs-lego-technic-model-12577.html
