  1. Is it the clicking noise what nerves you? Technically I don"t see any reason to make it extra complicated just because of the internal clutch of the LA, even further I would say it is a bad design decision to cover a "non-issue" with unnecessary bulky mechanism. In my opinion your solution is great, works, the clicking is normal. Another option would be to replace the LA: use clutch gear + worm gear, something like this:
  2. Works fine here, Win7 + Chrome.
  3. I think You nailed it to perfection (sure there is always 1% to be find). Awesome curves, on pair with Madoca's Icarus. Maybe I would add 1L beam (available now in white) to the front bumper to connect the front grill area with the small panels, or similar solution.
  4. Looks amazing in the end perspective , but I am not sold on the wheel arches on the hood. Maybe if the panels would be less angled, than it would look more homogen. While we focus on the models here, I must mention: I admire all the work and quality what was put in the video and editing. You have definitely talent for right settings and spots, also patience to put a concept together. I think You should consider movie / video creating as future profession.
  5. Neat MOC, although the look is somewhat raw (or futuristic?). I don't see a reason to make it RC, pneumatic + manual operation = fun.
  6. Very good MOC in functions, in details, and in appearance! I don't even know what part to look at: engine, suspension, detailing, mechanics... Nothing fancy, everything reasonably and soberly functional, no overthinking, just like the real machine supposed to be. I miss so much official sets like these! Professional work, hat off. edit: one minor thing could be improved, the hood panels could be connected by DBG 15100 along the edges, for sake of visuality.
  7. @MattL600 So you are not aware of the very first (top) topic on the site for months, and you sorry it with XD... are You cynical / arrogant / or not mature enough? Please don't answer to this, just give some thoughts how to proceed in the future. ON: the coloring theme creates ambivalent feelings to me, on one hand I like some new colors, but obviously we miss the available part diversity. On the other hand for some models like 42066-42070, recoloring is like blurring the picture in TV for visual or verbal profanity ... everybody knows what is happening actually, but sure... if we don't see/say it out loud, it doesn't exist.
  8. http://www.nytimes.com/2005/11/13/nyregion/theyre-soft-and-cuddly-so-why-lash-them-to-the-front-of-a-truck.html Also, it could be a display of unity inspired by this song about the fate of truckers. It looks like, there is no exact and simple answer for that.
  9. And finally the 42068:
  10. @nguyengiangoc I am also waiting for that, I like the 42070 A model. Though, the prices are over my limits... maybe on sale, but I don't mind if I will miss any of the sets.
  11. via @rm8 https://vk.com/technic_club Okay, the B-model is quite lame with rear wheel steering... + catalog view: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncElyxEEJ9Q
  12. Some new pictures to be find here (42070-b). https://www.exoforce.ru/serii-lego/technic/technic-lego-42070-evakuator-povyshennoy-prohodimosti-na-radioupravlenii.html
  13. I suggest to get out the competition part from Eurobricks between you two, and keep it on other forums. It is rather disturbing here, than valuable, I felt like falling in a black hole while reading this topic through... please don't turn EB to FB / Insta / etc... Milan asked all members kindly in this topic too, how to proceed: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/151628-announcement-for-members-made-contests/ Let's focus on the build itself, as a stand alone object, and judge accordingly. It is a nice start, with lot of improvement potential - this comes with time, and experience. I would also improve some connections, not to rely only on one pin for example. Curved lines are hard to replicate with current LEGO sortiment, a McLaren type of object is probably one of the hardest task to translate into LEGO - even for professional builders. I would also start with fictional design, or with cube-like ones from the 70'-80's. p.s.: to all youngsters collegues: please take care about proper grammar and punctuation, many of the comments here is hard to read and understand. Language, as complex communication form is one of the main advantage of mankind, use it without fear - but with respect in order to share knowledge.
  14. Nice MOC, I like it, but unfortunatelly hard to enjoy. Please allow me help to improve it's value, chech this link below - only 3 minutes. http://saynotoverticalvideos.com/
  15. I believe Anto's Reform Metrac is worthfull to be mentioned too. Just like Steph77's Volvo FH truck. Both are ingenious one of a kind builds.
  16. Thanks for the test Sariel, really useful! I will definitely keep an eye on those small rubber attachments, and now I know, that 1/link is enough.
  17. To be honest I don't see much use of such topic, for this You have Bricksafe, Brickshelf, MOC pages, etc., but don't mind to have it. Still, I don't see how these MOCs are related to Technic.
  18. I see now on my working laptop, I must recalibrate my screen at home, the colors are really off a bit. At least for this was it worth to make the pics. @I_Igor nice theory, would be great to see an updated 2.4 GHz remote system (which would justify the price), but I keep my feet rather on the ground till the official reveal.
  19. I made some variants for 42070, just for fun. I think the original color is good as well, and the overall look can be unpimped with different wheel colors (black, LBG, red). My personal favorite would be Dark Tan.
  20. My bad, just see that it is a video you put in the post not a picture. My guess is that the vibration comes from lego construction itself, it is a precise system, but not precise enough + the material (flexible plastic). I don't have this RC unit chassis, the vibration might come from this as well, as the steering pivot points are probably legoish loose, which is appearant during the drive. Even the tiniest obstacles on the surface give a undumped hit to the chassis, and this hits become an amplitude (vibration) in the loose connections. The turntable is also a bottleneck in this point of view, although the new type (from 42043) has much less play as the older ones - which You use as far I see. Maybe worth to give a try. Good luck!
  21. I solved the phone fixation on my dolly with angled liftarms. The phone stretches them a bit, which is enough to be clamped, and sits perfectly without any movement. I used the axles with bushes to adjust the clamping force: if you set it lower, the clamping is stronger. Also can be increased with rubber bands. I hope this helps.
  22. Structure is reinforced, I have some questionmarks yet, if the drivetrain can be implemented as I would like to: gears of the differential vs reinforcement beams. The side frames are still not very stiff (I can live with it though, acceptable sacrifice for look), but no issue with the bottom assembly - wherever I push, it is solid enough, Currently on off-road settings with my buggy's wheels, engine is in temporary position. EDIT: found a way to eliminite the possible collision (mentioned above), LLD file is updated: V1.3 is here.
  23. If You really want to make a special video, than just do it. My idea: let it be a yellow 11L Technic beam, laying still in the woods, 12 hours one shot video. Of course in 4K. Nice ATV by the way, but for some reason You doubled one of the video in the first post.
  24. Love this platform, one of my dream construction in Technic! You just made me to place an order on large pneumatic cylinders... I blame You.
  25. There is the sticker sheet beside the model - on the left (sligthly bent paper sheet), it is quite a lot unfortunately. Other than that, I am in love with this set, could be my very first house set, though I don't like the roof, it looks messy compared to the original - easy to fix. I might give a try to build it over to the boat repair shop (which is my favorite from Roben).
