  1. Why make a compromise. If you have to money for the Porsche - discard this option. Keep looking for a good deal an get the BWE and the 42039 24h-Race car. Porsche: 300€ MSRP. BWE 230€ MSRP+Race Car 100€ MSPR = 330€. With a good deal you should be able to save about 50-60€ on the sum. This should leave with enough parts to build great cars and cool machinery.
  2. Nice. But don't let Sariel's hamsters come close to it.
  3. Cool. Looks like it's fun to play with.
  4. Great engineering. This is to the smaller brother of the 8043, and he is even cooler.
  5. Lovely, great job. Nice curves. The rear wheels are a bit wide though. Have you got any of the old style motorcycle wheels. Those could fit as dual wheels on the rear axle. Or the 9398 wheels. Those look a bit more like tractor wheels.
  6. Nice tractor. Looks great. I allowed myself to embedded the video.
  7. Great, just great. I initially thought (he or looking at the video) how did he do the scanner? Your solution is simple but very effective. So how about the turbo boost? ;-)
  8. Impressive. Instantly recognizable.
  9. My compliments. Great pieces of work. This is official A-Model quality. I second the earlier thought that this should have been the sets' A-Model and the Arctic truck the B-Model.
  10. Such RC tires Fan be found in RC shops. These ones are fairly large, 20mm larger diameter than the 5571 tires. They fit the 1:14 scale. The common LEGO 64mm tires are 1:17,5 as far as I remember. But I found something different: http://muenchen-bricks.jimdo.com/shop/reifen/ With 73mm they could be worth a shot.
  11. Amazing! On the first look I thought it was a metal die cast model you took for inspiration.
  12. It's the 8109 smaller sibling. Great choice of colours. Work really well. The rear half of the cabin with the small white panels - really link that.
  13. Quite compact. Good job! The fork section is a bit large compared to the rest of the vehicle. Is that due to the large LA? Have you thought about using a small one?
  14. Nice idea. Could figure out the numbering scheme until iopened the topic and saw the car. Great looks, bright colours. The bumpers won't fit in there for me. Have you tried making them studless as well. Black lift arms and grey thin lift arms?
  15. Great project. Fairly large truck and a powerful engine. But I think the wheels are to small. They somehow look off scale.
  16. Impressive! This should be an official set. A creator-technic-crossover. The bumper-less rear is cool.
  17. Ginormous. I could not spot a mechanism for slewing. Without slewing the whole machine would have to move back and forth in order to mine material from a slope.
  18. Great Job. The truck looks awesome. I love the crane concept. Just a bit bulky.
  19. We should not forget that most of those parts we are talking (at the newer ones) can be easily obtained at the TLG customer service. And in many cases those newer parts are cheaper there.
  20. 2nd half of the Year flagships typically serve 2 full holiday seasons on the shelfs. They then enter a 3rd season but just as long as supply last and officially retired after Dec. 31st. So the Actros should be available until xmas 2017.
  21. Fantastic work. It is always good to see MOC of machinery from different countries. Growing up in the GDR I don't recall having ever seen one. Just the Barcas B1000. Again, great design. The edges of the cabin roof capture the curves of the original very well. [img: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/ff/FSC_%C5%BBuk.JPG]
  22. Looks great so far. Just be careful with the battery. lithium and water don't mix well.
