I found a used 9398 for 70€ plus shipping. Was a bit dusty but otherwise in good condition. -
OK - looks kind of cool. But otherwise - we get just another (overpriced imho) sports car with apart of the more complex gear box has no interesting funtionalities. I'm kind of appalled by the marketing speak: "Powered by passion! No batteries are required for this LEGO Technic set, so you can get stuck into your immersive building project right away." which basically translates into: "No, you don't get any motors, lights or whatsoever. This would cost a bazillion." Suddendly, the 42100 Liebherr appears like a bargain. But, heads up - we get tons of parts in lime green. I see great Claas Mocs around the corner.

Effe's MOC Corner

Works great imho. The folding mechanism is ingenious. Can it lift a few grams, e.g. a small battery box? -

Generic Contest Discussion
TinkerBrick replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I'd like to propose a "Universal Set" contest. "Universal Sets" were great in the 80s. They got my started into Technic. Brickset got a list here: https://brickset.com/sets/theme-Technic/subtheme-Universal The task could be: Design a Universal Set with a given number of parts. At least 3 models have to be designed using those parts. The models should using different building techniques and display different mechanical principals. -
That's a really nice truck. Looks like a lot of fun to play with. One captions states a speed of 19km/h at 9.2V. Doesn't the Buwizz allow up to 11V? Did you take the truck for a run in thar ludicrous mode?

I just found this (kudos to zusammengebaut.de for posting this). I thought those informations would be welcome here as well. Powered UP AFOL Community Answers https://lan.lego.com/news/overview/powered-up-afol-community-answers-r146/ I haven’t made up my mind yet but I have to admit I have some mixed feelings about Powered UP.

42083 - Bugatti Chiron
TinkerBrick replied to Jurss's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hopefully. Usually, the price for B&P is somehow directly related to their weight. The Claas tires cost 5.12€. The Tumbler tires were about 7,50€. A small Mini Sai piece is 0.12€. Maybe the driving ring extension is made out of some kind of unobtainum. ;-) -

I just spoke to the TLG customer service regarding a parts order. The new driving ring extensions (yellow, 6211768) cost a stunning 5.20€ per piece. The gear shifter (orange, 6227330) clocks in with 2.58€. -
Incredible. How long dd it take to set this up?

I found a 8420 street motor cycle for 32€ including shipping. No box, no instructions but in good condition. I couldn‘t resist. The wheels/tires alone are more expensive than the set. Not to mention the spring/shock absorber. Now I can build Nico71‘s Morgan threewheeler. -
Hello! ich just found this on kickstarter.com and wanted to share this while I‘m waiting for my coffee https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1581732981/smallest-wifi-rc-brick-with-rechargeable-battery-f?ref=discovery&term=Lego It looks just like a BuWizz but for WiFi. I really like the trailer. What are your plans regarding a tractor/truck? Looking forward to see all the parts coming together.

I just a complete Spick3r Robot (one of the Mindstorms EV3 Models) for 82,50€. The lot included the intelligent bricks, 2 large motors, 1 medium motor, IR sensor and the remote. Everything appears to be working properly.
