Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Robert8's topic in LEGO Licensed
And, come 2020, inevitable playsets for the fifth Indiana Jones movies will be filling in the Adventurers theme's shoes. Believe me, I LOVE Indiana Jones, but with the state of mind I'm currently in now, I'd compromise a second coming of the theme for an all-new, in-house Adventurers theme instead. You mean this video?- 8,371 replies

Indeed, and I'm pretty sure the Green Arrow figure in that lineup is a custom too.

[WIP] [MOC] "Midiopolis" [Midiscale Modulars]
Digger of Bricks replied to Trekkie99's topic in LEGO Town
Looks like 16×16 and 16×8 baseplates there, so I guess that would indeed work nicely for an approximate, half-scale modular formula of sorts! -

Regarding advise, I believe this other topic by @LegoModularFan would instead be the place to ask.- 817 replies

LEGO Ideas Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Say, that sounds kinda cool! Perhaps, taking it a step further, a "Works of DaVinci" type of project could be the ticket! True, but I'd still wish for minifigure-scaled takes on their aircraft, particularly Lindbergh's Spirit of St. Louis. Perhaps separate projects would be better? -

This has to be my favorite among today's selections, primarily for its Prohibition Era setting and split-level setup!- 817 replies

[WIP] [MOC] "Midiopolis" [Midiscale Modulars]
Digger of Bricks replied to Trekkie99's topic in LEGO Town
I don't know much about Mini-Modulars or the technicalities of designing them, but I would be interested to know if you have any sort of architectural style(s) in mind for some of your first attempts! -
Questions for Creator Expert designers
Digger of Bricks replied to Jim's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Ooooh, awesome! Well... How easy is it to approve of new parts for Creator Expert sets compared to other themes? Was the color Dark Turquoise chosen to be resurrected for the Downtown Diner specifically? Will Art Nouveau ever be tackled as an architectural style for the Modular Building line, or would it be too difficult to capture in Lego bricks? What advice could be given to AFOLs who are creating architectural LEGO Ideas projects, particularly regarding on how to keep minifig-scaled ones from clashing with the Modular Building line? Will either the Modular Building line or the Winter Village line ever change their time period setting from a modern one to a pre-20th Century/pre-21st Century setting? Say for instance, the Modular Building and/or Winter Village line changed their setting to one set in Victorian England or the American Wild West. Would that ever be a possibility in the far future? Does the Downtown Diner signal any sort of new direction for the future of the Modular Building subtheme, for the next ten years that is? Apologies for asking these questions if they've already been answered elsewhere, or in the last interview if I've forgotten that they have been asked already. I might think of a few more to ask after this initial post. -

Someone should do a true Amelia Earhart project, perhaps something like a "Pioneers of Aviation" set. Such a project could include both Wright brothers with their Wright Flyer, Charles Lindbergh and his Spirit of St. Louis, and Amelia Earhart with perhaps her Lockheed Vega 5b aircraft. -
Your brick built recreation of the poster is pretty darn cool! Good luck on your way to 10,000 supporters! I wonder if @legonerd54321 knows you're here on Eurobricks?

DC Superheroes 2018 - Set Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Talon looks like a fair enough figure, though I wish there were a bit more Gold accenting, particularly on the head. That is, unless this figure takes after a slightly different comic variant I'm not aware of, with less gold accenting on his costume. Anyone know if that may be the case, or is the image's color quality just not the greatest?- 1,409 replies

Given that it's a DC Villains themed videogame, I'm betting that the Superman Luthor figure will be the exclusive for that instead, as opposed to the updated visual dictionary.- 1,409 replies

While I may not be counting on it, I too still think that it would make for an incredibly cool set! If TLG's stance on militaristic source material wasn't an issue, I guess I'd also love to see both the USAF Stealth Fighter and Stealth Bomber translated into set form. -

That's not only adorable looking, but even kinda cool for a small Classic Shuttlecraft! I really dig both its boxy, compact design and predominant usage of grey over blue! Oh dear.- 15 replies

Believe me, it just happens. I just have a lot to share, ask, and discuss here on Eurobricks; and ultimately, the hopes of potentially influencing those at TLG through ambassadors is what drives me to post, and was the foremost reason I did join Eurobricks in the first place! My favorite sort of topic are wishlist/idea discussions, particularly ones like @Peppermint_M's Future Action and Adventure Themes where you can elaborate in detail on your many dreams. Not sure exactly at the moment. Ambassador interaction and activity over on the Embassy subforum. I'd like to see more official surveys like that "Gift-With-Purchase" inquiry from last year. One-on-one interaction with the Ambassador program, first and foremost at least. Not certain at the moment, but pretty much everything serves a purpose, so I can appreciate it for what it's worth. Not certain of that either, but while it could be nice to have in some respects, I don't think it would help generate activity or bring new members to the forum, as non-members who watch the videos would rather comment on YouTube instead while EB members would comment on the forum anyway. In other words, I don't think the forum would gain much from a YouTube channel in the end. I don't use either, so no, I myself primarily use Eurobricks itself for pretty much everything pertaining to the forum.

While I agree with most of your other assessments, I still think the Treehouse project has some chance, as a finalized product (if it were approved) could be easily shrunk to a more sellable size that differs only a little from the original project. Personally, I just really want to see an original idea come out of this review. Not Speed Champions, but there was this for Technic: Brickset - 42063-1: BMW R 1200 GS Adventure

Personally, I think we should wait until we hear of the results for the Third 2017 Review, as there may a project(s) from that one that will carry over to the First 2018 Review for further consideration. -
Not enough CMF series a year? CMF Rota Discussion
Digger of Bricks replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Well, like @x105Black and @MAB, I don't think the UniKitty blind bag series counts as a CMS either. Now, maybe you're suggesting that the UniKitty series is a sort of protoform for a fourth series, if you will?- 72 replies

I'm seriously digging the somewhat retrofuturistic flare I'm getting from this, especially from the rear.

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation
Digger of Bricks replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
I know it would be quite unlikely, but it would be rather strange if this set didn't come with a Batman variant of some sort, particularly an Rocksteady Arkham one.
