I'm looking to trade or sell these parts: As you can see in the picture, most of the Harry Potter heads are somewhat banged up or have faded printing. The scooby doo and friends figs are in superb condition though. The price for the whole lot is $45 plus shipping which in the US would only be a few more dollars. I'm interested in castle building parts and figs especially, though not limited to that by any means. So if you have something you'd like to trade, just let me know. Hi, y'all, long time lurker here and train/harry potter enthusiast! With the release of the entire wizarding word line i got super excited and most of all i was begging we would get another, more realistic Hogwarts express. When it came out, however, i was: "cute, it has even pistons, but it feels so small": i immediately started thinking how to modify it. It is the first real project i complete in LDD and manage to transpose in real bricks and i wanted to share with you. Comments/criticism/suggestions are welcome! Note: for the engine i tried to keep the overall aesthetic and the gimmick that permits to block the front wheels. With the new Harry Potter sets I wondered what a new Chamber of Secrets would look like. I would like the Basilisk to be moulded so I focused on the environment itself. Including the snake entrance and the tunnels Harry escaped through in the films before confronting the Basilisk again.

For years I’ve always wanted a small scale Quidditch pitch set but never got around to building it with the old set even though I purchased extra players. Well I didn’t want to wait long with the new set. I didn’t use many parts from the second set other than the goal pieces but I wanted those extra players too. Here’s what I ended up with: The full Quidditch Pitch. Ideally the goal areas wouldn’t be raised up so much or I could have built up the field surface more but this will suffice. A Weasley bro taking out a Slytherin while Hermoine casts a spell on Snape in the stands The semi trans long pieces work gray to simulate flight Angelina Johnson takes a shot! Thanks for looking!

Hi Eurobricks! Here is the Hogwarts Castle I made for Russian Fan Forum of Lego Moscow Festival "Builders’ Battle 2018" which was held on April 1st 2018 (this is not a joke). In 2001, when I was a little kid, I dreamt of 4709 Hogwarts Castle but could not get it because I preferred other sets such as 7163 Republic Gunship. As such, seventeen years later I made a Hogwarts MOC looking like an ultimate exclusive set from an alternate reality and combining best elements from 2001-2007 and 2010 Harry Potter sets. To overcome my bricks' limits, I took the layout of the Harry Potter theme park in Orlando. Therefore, my MOC consists of Great Hall, Grand Tower and Astronomy Tower combined with the Viaduct entrance hall: The Dementors and Hedwig fly over the castle's towers: The interior of the castle: The feast in Great Hall is full of different and tasty food: You can see floating candles, banners of the Houses and a house point-calculating machine. The entrance hall antechamber can be separated from the Great Hall: Hogwarts heraldry at the entrance: A suit of armor protects the castle, ready to be animated by the wizards: The Grand Tower is the tallest structure of Hogwarts: It includes the library, the Gryffindor common room and the Gryffindor dormitory: Harry is sneaking in the library with the help of Lumos and Marauder's Map while Ginny is drinking tea in the common room: Neville and his Remembrall: The lower floors: The dungeons and the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom which is currently used by McGonagall and Hermione for extra Transfiguration lessons: The dungeons contain the Slytherin common room and the Potions classroom: The second entrance hall, Dumbledore's office and the Divination classroom: The Astronomy Tower and the Owlery: - After all this time? - Always. During the Festival, Hogwarts was displayed on the City diorama alongside modular buildings, UFO and Ghostbusters' HQ: More photos can be seen in my Flickr album.

Hi all! First of all sorry my bad English, not native speaker here. After seeing again all the Harry Potter movies and reading most of the books, I wanted to add some harry potter lego to my colecction. I then realised why I don't have any of the Hogwarts castle Sets, I think theyre all awful. The are incomplete, they only include rooms from one movie, and if you buy more than one, you get to have repeated minifigures and rooms. So I wanted to make my own version of it, considering a UCS version playset, something like the Death Star con Star Wars theme, but bigger. I set myself some goals: - Include all the rooms that appear in more than one film (Chamber of secrets, great hall, entrance, dumbledore's office, each house bedrooms and common room, and many more) - include small side-sets like Hagrid's Hut or the herbology class - It has to be modular, and it has to be openable to play inside. - Most of the rooms have to be closed by wall, so set can be displayed. After two hours of prototyping and trying some structures, this is the first thing that I have: The room on the left is the Great hall. On the right, there will be the library and Dumbledore's army Headquarters. Both basements can be opened. One will be the Chamber of secrets, and the other will be potion's class, as well as some rooms from the Philosopher's stone (I don't think I got the name right) The idea from now on is to grow the side modules one or two more fllors, to fit there the common and bedrooms, Umbridge's desktop and Dumbledore's office. There is room for a rear module, in which there will be The astronomy tower, or maybe other iconic location I can't think of now. Once the build is complete I will release the .lxt file and I will try to get instructions in PDF and parts list in xml, but I simply don't know what software to use. Thanks for reading!

Came across my Chocolate Frog box and wanted to create something similar out of Lego. Instead of containing a chocolate frog it has Fawkes inside, hence the Fawkes box. The Nexo shields work to create a domed pentagon shape. I used custom stickers to get the colours mostly right. I'm hoping for some help regarding the torso on the Lucius Malfoy minifig (HP104) from sets 4736 Freeing Dobby and 2 others. The torso is black with brown accents, but someone is claiming a torso variation, which shows the reversed head with the death eater mask and a hood, has the same torso but with red accents. HP120 shows as a minifig when you search google (it shows as the death eater version), but also shows as not appearing in any sets. I personally think it's just the exposure of the photo, as the black legs and torso are shinier, more reflective of light than the usual photos of the Lucius Malfoy minifig, causing the brown to show more as red than it is. I also believe that HP120 is merely a designation for the HP104 with the head flipped and a hood. I've attached photos in question, showing the same minifig at two different exposures. These are the same, right? Thanks.

Over the last year or so I have been trying to improve my Lego building skills. I love all kinds of Lego, but I'm pretty much obsessed with Harry Potter Lego. I can't get enough of it! I'm always building and this is my latest MOC. It's part of a much bigger model, but I really think it stands up well by itself. Introducing. I figured today (or rather yesterday) was a good day to post this since it is (was) September the first, or as J.k. Rowling calls(ed) it, "Return to Hogwarts" day! Wow, Harry Potter has really made a huge re-resurgence in the last few months. Then again, with that new movie and the books coming out, I figure why not join the hype. Anyway, I showed a sneak preview earlier this year, and this is the finished product. I'm pretty happy with it. Probably may change a few things here and there. The scene depicts the trio of young wizards escaping the Wizarding bank Gringotts ( ) and continuing their dangerous quest to hunt down the horcruxes and defeat the darkest wizard of all, Lord Voldemort!The most exciting part is, of course, the Ukrainian Ironbelly, a dragon I am especially fond of. A big thank you to Marcel for helping me with the building and an even bigger one to Markus for helping with the photo-editing. Logo from here. Hi, my name is Charlie. I'm the member of KLIKK Hungarian LEGO Fan Community. In summer, I had the chance to move to a new house, where I have a lot of space to build own LEGO creations. So, although I'm an AFOL years ago, this is the first time I have a large MOC. Please let me introduce my new Harry Potter creation. My LEGO creation includes more than 35000 LEGO pieces and it took approximately 600 hours to make it ready. It's 115 x 153 cm large (3x4 large LBG baseplates). If you didn't recognize yet, this is the epic battle from the last episode of the franchise. Voldemort's army is attacking the Hogwarts and a battle is beginning between the death eaters, freaky creatures, students, teachers and the members of The Order of Phoenix. I've built the two towers with the cloister and the entrance of the Great Hall. In the courtyard, you can discover many of the characters. For the best result, I've built all of the great moments of the battle. To ensure a great view, the cloister isn't built at the front. The right corner on the front isn't complete, because originally, there should be a giant tower, so I've left the space of it. Movie scene #1: Movie scene #2: I know there are some difference between the MOC and the movie's courtyard. Some of them are intentional. What's missing? - small columns of the arcades (I haven't find the best way to build them yet.) - proper torso for Hermione Granger (I've just find one from a TMNT set) What's wrong? - Layout should be deeper, but I had to consider that this is regularly an exhibition part, so small children should see the whole building. - Paving is different, because if I built this entirely from 1x2 tiles, it would be too bright. Hi everyone, The last months I have been busy. For the next Legoworld in the Netherlands we (me and my brother) want to show a large landscape with various locations and scenes of the Harry Potter series. I have created a castle a little bit based on books and/or films, but this is my version of the Hogwarts castle. In the castle there are various rooms and classrooms. The stairs in the staircase can move and are powered by Power Functions. Here is an overview of the castle. Here is a picture of the entrance and the big hall. Underneath the entrance are the living rooms of Slytherin and under the big hall is the magic potions classroom. Here is a picture of the entire staircase. Hi everyone, I have created a small landscape based on the first novel of the Harry Potter series. The scene is the first time that Harry is in Gringotts with Hagrid by his side and they are escorted by Griphook through the caves. I wanted a few tracks in the built and one of the tracks needed a drop. I was glad that I had the right tubes to create the track. Here is a picture of the built. This model was originally by Hachiroku24 as the flying car driven by the Weasley's in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. In real life, the car type used in the film was made by Ford for sale in the United Kingdom and was called the "Anglia". This particular version (a 105-E Super) was built from 1959 - 1968. I've wanted a accurate version of the flying car driven by the Weasley's in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I have been doing this cycle of building, revising with newer parts, tearing apart, and repeat since 2002 when the original set 4728 (Escape from Privet Drive) was released. I changed the color from the original medium blue to black around 2004 and revised the wheel size around 2011. Now I have added a new style front end to the car via a design by Hachiroku24. Oh, and the mini-figure in the picture is my sig-fig, which is NOT included with the car in the LDD file. The car without my sig-fig. The car can seat two mini-figures on jumper plates, and also features opening doors and trunk with plenty of space. The rear of the car features a license plate and a jumper plate to represent the exhaust pipe. As I said, the car fits two mini-figures comfortably. (The steering wheel is in the wrong spot for UK driving, but I live in the USA so I changed it for right-side driving here in the States.) Here you can see the original Hachiroku24 model, which inspired me to revamp my car. If you want to build one of these according to the original designer, follow the instructions in video form in this topic here on Eurobricks. Comments, Questions, and Complaints are welcome, though any praise for the blue model and front bumper design should go to the original designer ( Hachiroku ) in his topic, as linked to above. Hi everyone, We (me and my brother) have been busy for the last 5 months. We created a landscape with scenes and locations of the Harry Potter series. The landscape is 8 meter long and 1.25 meters deep. The landscape contains the Hogwarts Castle, the Burrow, London with Diagon Alley, Private Drive and Hogsmeade. The Private Drive, London and train station are built by my brother. I have built the Hogwarts Castle, Quiddith field, the Whomping Willow and Hogsmeade. The Castle was already shown at another event and was also posted on Eurobricks. Hogwarts Castle The Whomping Willow can move three branches and is powered by PF. At the Whomping Willow is scene from Prisoner of Azkaban, where Lupin turns into a werewolf. Very close to the Whomping Willow is Hogsmeade and a platform. More towards London, there is graveyard with the duel between Harry Potter and Voldemort with the presence of the Death Eaters. The Burrow is close to the graveyard. London is one street with the Diagon Alley behind it. There is a small alley between the two. At the street there is a train station with a parking lot. In the Diagon Alley there are several shops and the Gringotts Wizarding Bank. Close to the Diagon Alley is the Private Drive with three houses and a playground. At the backside of the castle, there is a boathouse. The confrontation with the Hungarian Horntale is behind the greenhouses. The Quiddith field and the Forbidden Forest are at the other side of the castle. On the Quiddith field there is a match between Slytherin and Gryffindor. In the Dark Forest there are several Threstrals and Aragog are present. In the corner of the forest, there is a confrontation between Harry Potter and Voldemort as a reference to the last part. This is MOC of December 2012. I built my first vignette for a Magic World of Harry Potter Contest on DoubleBrick.ru and it took 9th place with 15 votes. The contest task were to illustrate one scene from HP book and the base of vignette should be no more than 16x16. At that moment I had only four HP minifigures (Harry, Draco, Snape and Bellatrix) so I decided to made something more interesting than just a Potions lesson. “I only came out because Mary told me you were threatening to sleep here.” “I was. I would have done. I never meant to call you Mudblood, it just—” “Slipped out?” There was no pity in Lily’s voice. “It’s too late. I’ve made excuses for you for years. None of my friends can understand why I even talk to you. You and your precious little Death Eater friends—you see, you don’t even deny it! You don’t even deny that’s what you’re all aiming to be! You can’t wait to join You-Know-Who, can you?” He opened his mouth, but closed it without speaking. “I can’t pretend anymore. You’ve chosen your way, I’ve chosen mine.” “No—listen, I didn’t mean—” “—to call me Mudblood? But you call everyone of my birth Mudblood, Severus.
