  1. I presume that remains the case, as TLBM director Chris McKay described it as such after the film had finally settled on both a director and a script. Just for refreshment, here's the quote with the cited news article: Heroic Hollywood - Chris McKay Says 'The LEGO Movie 2' Will Be A 'Big Musical'
  2. Alright, looking most forward to it!
  3. I'm hoping for more than one approval from this review, particularly for both the Treehouse and Vintage BMW Motorcycle projects. But, knowing Lego, I'd guess they'd chose both an original project and a licensed project if they were to indeed approve of two.
  4. Dickensian modulars like this, especially with a winter theme, are always great to see! I certainly love both its color palette and its many brick built details of draping snow. As simple as this building may be in its construction, I really do dig it! Architecturally, it's Art Deco but with a deeper color scheme, which is pretty much exactly what I typically look for! Many of the other buildings in his streetscape look awfully nice too! Flickr - Sunset Boulevard by @TJJohn12
  5. The shots of this craft from both the bow and the stern are the coolest! A most novel airship!
  6. What J2G has is actually a molding mistake, something I haven't seen before as far as hairpieces go. Have you ever seen any accidental marbled hairpieces before yourself in the past?
  7. I think an Oriental Pirates theme would be cool to see for a change, but I suppose it would have to differ as much as it can from Ninjago to keep similarities from clashing. Yes to brick-built sea monsters, and as far as non-human elements go, I'd really like to see either ghost or undead pirates as the heroes' adversaries.
  8. If you got the bricks, then yeah, a topic would be awesome! Given enough potential contributions from other members, I think it could help give us an idea of what Lego's part inventory is missing!
  9. Batman: Under the Red Hood and the animated adaptation of Superman/Batman: Public Enemies. I sort of didn't care for Under the Red Hood starting out, primarily because of its generic dialogue, but it got a little better towards the end. As for Public Enemies, it just kinda felt more like an extended, mature episode of the early 2000's Justice League TV show, as opposed to a story that could simply stand on its own.
  10. By clipping a knight's visor onto it? Sure, but, I believe this new helmet isn't completely smooth, as it looks to have a slight degree of molded texturing atop it. Perhaps it may not inhibit a visor anyway, or it'll just depend upon what sort of visor part it may be. Ah, mecha pilots!
  11. Hey, that's a start! Have any more competitor brand parts you think would be worth highlighting?
  12. Something I think that could be really cool to see attempted would be a cinematic universe lightly based upon Jules Verne's novels, a "Jules-Verse", if you will. In the same way Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean stitch together various elements of pirate lore for each of the films' plots, this series of movies would take the same approach, focused upon a titular hero/heroine and their adventures in the late nineteenth/early twentieth centuries exploring the depths and edges of land, sea, air, space, and so forth, encountering many of the original novels' characters during their journeys. P.S. If not as a cinematic universe, I think such a concept would make for an extraordinarily original in-house action/adventure playtheme of Lego sets! After watching the animated adaptations of Frank Miller's Batman: Year One and The Dark Knight Returns a little while ago, I too have been mulling over the concept of series of Batman films set during the 1980's. There just may be something there. Oh, welcome to Eurobricks by the way!
  13. No, of course not, but I'd imagine these helmets would work well for a Pulp/Fantasy Space Heroine archetype who typically don't conform to the physics of outer space. Got any ideas in mind for how you're going to make reusage of it?
  14. I was just checking out some of your cited sources of inspiration for each of this block's buildings, and I'll say, they are just as equally stunning, particularly Prague's Grand Hotel Europe!
  15. Any hint on what sort of architectural style it will follow? Something to complement this pub perhaps?
  16. Superb work as always @TheBrickBuilder14, I like how you've added a windshield split this time!
  17. Not that I'm aware of, as that official set image looked to have the best angle of the part I could see.
  18. I believe we never saw any images of the set or its contents, only a vague description of an exclusive set said to have been of an arctic icebreaker with a new Orca mold. I don't believe so, I think?
  19. Could these themed MOC indexes be also used by other users to highlight themed creations found elsewhere beyond Eurobricks? Over on the Town and Sci-Fi subforums, users @danth and @LegoModularFan started inspiration topics showcasing creations pertaining to the subject of those subforums found on Eurobricks, Flickr, Instagram, and elsewhere.
  20. I saw this display in person a few years ago at a local LUG show, which I've nearly forgotten about! The Tan/Dark Tan skyscraper with the Chrysler Building-like profile is probably my favorite amongst all the others.
  21. Aw shucks, thanks! Automatically, I think of Jme Wheeler's Basilisk when I see this. I can't help but be impressed every time I see that Empire State Building of his! I first remember seeing it showcased in his encyclopedic Tips & Tricks book by the way. Of all the selections you've highlighted here, this one has to be my favorite. While this a very well done, finely detailed creation, it's just not my thing when it comes to Art Deco architecture, particularly because of its color scheme. Art Deco/Streamline Moderne architecture with more earthy, muted, antiquey colors is what I particularly look for, much like @RoxYourBlox's Tall Tower which I cite so often. Talk about cutting against the studs' grain! Of all the creations you featured in this selection, this has to be the CRAZIEST!!! That watch shop to the right of the firm is particularly unique with that anti-stud front.
  22. Congratulations @Mark of Falworth on gathering more than 1300 supporters for your project!
