  1. Noir Crimefighter * Gender: Male. Occupation/print on torso: Double-breasted leather jacket in Black with Metallic Silver buttons. Type of headgear: Black fedora and cape. Type of facial expression: Inquisitive, concerned expression with either a pair of Metallic Silver-rimmed/Pearl Gold-lensed goggles, or simply a Black mask. Color on torso/legs: Dual-molded Dark Bluish Grey legs with Black boots. Also, hip piece would be printed with a Dark Brown belt with a Metallic Silver belt buckle engraved with an owl head insignia. Accessory: Classic pistol mold recolored in Titanium Metallic. * Inspired after proto-Batman vigilante characters from early pulp fiction and comic strips such as The Shadow, The Spirit, and The Green Hornet. Also, Adam West's homage to the archetype, The Grey Ghost, from Batman: The Animated Series serves as an inspiration. Personally, I could see such a figure being included in a promotional set or a multi-figure "accessory pack" for $14.99, but like the Series 18 Policeman CMF, I think it'd kinda be a waste to place such a figure into a CMS slot, as I'd rather prefer a more slightly detailed reimagining of the Classic Spaceman for a series. Revisiting this topic, I just now realized you were evoking the character Judge Dredd with that suggestion.
  2. Here are a few more LEGO Ideas projects that readers of this topic may be interested in... 3. Ah yes, I forgot about that one! Honestly though, I'm still guessing we'll end up seeing a new, sleeker jetpack mold introduced for this character, as Boba's and the one you cited may only be intended to be used for the Star Wars license (not to mention that the latter isn't very swooshy-looking anyway). Personally, I'd hope to see one that similar to the Rocketeer's in design:
  4. Asterix: The Gaulish Village by Han Sbricksteen Lost Cabin by tkel86 Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! by georgep148 The Lighthouse's Cove by Bricky_Brick The Clockwork Menagerie by EndlessAges Well, that's aesthetically not the sort of spacecraft I'd personally envision for that CMF (looks more like Futurama's Planet Express rather than a traditional Raypunk rocketcraft); but hey, it is still pretty cool in terms of its well thought-out functionality and features.
  5. My gosh, I am just truly boggled by all this media publication attention you've been receiving lately...
  6. While I could see them merely giving him dual preexisting raygun or revolver pistol molds, a new hybrid design of those two would be particularly cool to see instead!
  7. By the way, there may be a slight possibility that we'll be seeing our first full-length trailer for the sequel next week attached to the upcoming animated film Smallfoot_releasing that weekend, as it is also a Warner Animation Group (WAG) produced movie, just like as @legonerd54321 had speculated earlier. As described by IGN, he's said to be donning a jetpack, something we don't have a formal minifigure part for if you're not counting Boba Fett's, so I'm really looking forward to seeing how that will look as a part design-wise. That is, unless his jetpack is brick-built... But yes, I too am both hoping and strongly expecting his figure to be yellow-skinned, being an original (though amalgamated) character and all.
  8. At least an amalgamation of his more recent action star roles, as according to this Collider article...
  9. The Brothers Brick - LEGO Creator 10263 Winter Village Fire Station [Review]
  10. Well, according to this IGN article... ...so going by that, I'd imagine his look would probably be a fusion of cowboy garbs (as a reference to The Magnificent Seven remake he starred in), Star Lord's outfit, Owen Grady from the Jurassic World trilogy, and perhaps a little bit of Indiana Jones thrown in there (the character is described by some sources to be a part-time archaeologist, not to mention that Pratt was rumored by some awhile ago to be up for the role of a younger Jones for the fifth film). If you ask me, this character sounds like he already deserves a spin-off movie of his own!
  11. While TLG does allow it but at the same time is discouraging it, does anyone here who plans on entering a few entries to the contest also plan on sharing their submissions here on Eurobricks or eleswhere?
  12. Did this source say whether or not if it's still a jewelry line, like as reported by Brick Fanatics? It's interesting to hear of this rumored name, as it was initially said to be named iCreate instead.
  13. Um, link or personal source?
  14. Well, unless you've already seen it, there is a third teaser poster at that linked article...
  15. Oh my... ...and they even headlined its portrait right below the paper's name on the front page!
  16. Just bringing here via @tormentalous (a.k.a. The Brick Fan):
  17. The Brick Fan - The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part Wasteland Batman Closer Look
  18. Hmmm, I'd imagine that these three sets would most likely be based upon the first two films in particular, especially if there's going to be a D2C amongst the mix. Also, like as seen before in other instances with other IPs, the D2C may take heavily after one of a few rejected LEGO Ideas projects from the past.
  19. By the way, for anyone who uses either Studio or Studio 2.0, what sort of themed selection does the software offer as far as minifigures go? According to the FAQs, Studio 2.0 offers "a good selection of ordinary non-themed LEGO Minifigure parts" for the contest. Are non-licenced CMFs amongst them?
  20. I didn't even realize it until much later, but those torso designs are a really great homage to some of Lego's first firefighter minifigures.
