  1. So I finally finished watching the just-released third season of this show, and it did not disappoint! While there's a lot to recollect upon in retrospect, probably my only major nitpick with it is that it just introduces too many new romantic relationship and/or extramarital affair subplots in a single season that haven't really gone anywhere as of yet. Many of these I feel could've been saved/spread out for the fourth season instead. Besides that though, I was quite interested to see how this show would reinterpret real-life historical figures J. Edgar Hoover and Lincoln Rockwell, and I thought that their arcs were used in an interestingly effective though somewhat expected way. Also, I was kinda surprised... So, did anyone else finish watching this latest season yet? What are your overall thoughts?
  2. Finally finished watching Amazon Prime's newly released third season of The Man in the High Castle.
  3. I myself wasn't aware of its existence until a short while after those Winter 2017 sets hit the shelves, as the color looked like to me to merely be Dark Orange.
  4. Not at all actually! That's not necessarily to say that I dislike Ninjago, I just hold many other Action/Adventure themes in higher regards. For instance, regarding more recent "big bang" System themes, I prefer Nexo Knights over Ninjago but do prefer Ninjago over Legends of Chima. Now, as to why I prefer Future Jay over the other three in this pack, well, he's just a much more conservative design; particularly, I would find his head and printed arms useful parted out to reuse elsewhere.
  5. If you love the Calaca, @Catanas has just rendered herself a Dia de Muertos themed SigFig:
  6. Thanks! Let me just say regarding Metallic Copper, I pretty much stick that color into almost every CMF fill-out suggestion I make over on @CopMike's Embassy topic, whether it be for a printed detail or a part.
  7. Here's the NYCC trailer for the upcoming second season of Star Trek: Discovery, offering a first look at Gregory Peck's grandson Ethan Peck as Spock:
  8. So, where and when does everyone think the next System based Action/Adventure theme will plausibly take place? Do you personally expect to see any smaller-scaled themes of yore make any reappearance in some form; or, do you rather think that the Ninjago/Chima/Nexo Knights "big bang" model will be the rule of the day for awhile here?
  9. Oh, also, do you perhaps have any sort of Johnny Thunder/Indiana Jones inspired Adventurer/Archaeologist archetype in the pipeline for a future series @Robert8? How about a Villainous Baron archetype as a counterpart?
  10. Most indeed! I also really dig the aesthetically pleasing usage of those constraction parts on the inside!
  11. Only now have I just checked out these SpiderMan leaks, and am rather dumbstruck by their branding... Um, why rebrand these sets under a separate SpiderMan theme outside of the Marvel Super Heroes line? Is it to possibly distinguish them from the upcoming tie-in sets for Spiderman: Far From Home?
  12. Hey, check out this one Ninjago City expansion creation by Galaktek... Flickr - Pagoda Park
  13. Off the top of my own head, I'd probably like to see Metallic Copper with Bright Red crest/antennas and Metallic Silver with Dark Azure crest/antennas.
  14. That is simply adorable! Reminds me of a scrap table build I cobbled together several years ago!
  15. Does not sadly. Well, perhaps @WhiteFang or @CopMike could help us with this?
  16. You and me both buddy! Personally, I could see us getting a female counterpart to the archetype sometime down the road here in a future series, more likely than not reusing his helmet. By the way, speaking of that helmet, what particular recolors would desire for that part yourself?
  17. They should, because otherwise, they wouldn't flesh very well with their other LEGO Hanna Barbera counterparts, Scooby Doo and company. Speaking of such, I hope this inspires someone to submit a decent looking Jetsons project to LEGO Ideas in response.
  18. Obviously, just looking at the original submission, it should turn out to be much more exquisite-looking than the typical Three-In-One Creator set, hence the draw for me (and ten thousand other supporters).
  19. Future Jay has to be my favorite of the four, but all of them do have above-and-beyond detailing...
  20. Here's a hypothetical idea for an Arrowverse Collectable Minifigure Series, courtesy of @Ashnflash!
  21. For all you Arrowverse fans, here's @Ashnflash's latest CMF draft!
  22. Whoa, now that's a project I would've never expected you to tackle! Would you perhaps take on the challenge of rendering the city's most iconic skyscraper?
