  1. Here's the first part of a new interview with Marcos Bessa on the BrickHeadz theme... New Elementary - LEGO® BRICKHEADZ: MARCOS BESSA INTERVIEW PART 1 ...plus a parts-centric review of several of this year's sets from the same blog: New Elementary - LEGO® BRICKHEADZ: HARRY POTTER, FROZEN AND STAR WARS
  2. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
  3. Entertainment Weekly - Brie Larson takes flight as Captain Marvel on this week's EW cover
  4. Just bringing them here... Entertainment Weekly - See 10 exclusive images from Captain Marvel
  5. LEGO Ideas - Improvements to LEGO IDEAS, and a new badge to celebrate LEGO Rebrick!
  6. Adorable! I love both the color scheme and the circular touch above the doorway, not to mention other more humorous touches such as the snow-cop and the uniformed Santa officer.
  7. Though I may not personally care for either the theme or its tie-in TV show, this brand-new Unikitty stop-motion brickfilm from BrotherhoodWorkshop is actually pretty amusing...
  8. Dang, it really is so stunning to see all three of these beauties together...
  9. Besides its extraordinary color scheme (which I'm really most dazzled by and immediately adore), there is just soooo much to take in as far as amazing parts usage!
  10. Sounds all too similar to the name of this 2015 Creator set... Brickset - 31034 Future Flyer Well, though it may only be $14.99, here's hoping that at least it's some sort of spaceship, that is, one that may give us a desirable new canopy recolor of some sort.
  11. Since it utilizes Nexo Knights parts, Andrew also built this other Nexo-themed SHIP, which you may remember featured in a Beyond the Brick interview I posted on the previous page of this topic: And, while we're still speaking of both Nexo Knights and the YouTube channel Beyond the Brick...
  12. Over at LEGO Ideas, staff there are hosting an Incredibles 2 themed contest: LEGO Ideas - New Contest: Create an amazing Family Moment!
  13. The staff at Ideas have announced another themed contest: LEGO Ideas - New Contest: Create an amazing Family Moment!
  14. My gosh, they are Earth Blue! That's going to be of much interest I'd suspect for X-Men fans who wish to upgrade their 2014 Cyclops figure!
  15. If Speed Champions will continue on for a more prolonged period of time, I'd hope to see the theme come to introduce some non-minifigure scaled lines under its wing, perhaps including an annual reoccurring series of some Expert-scaled, System-built automobiles and even a line of four-wide polybag builds similar to those of the former Racers theme.
  16. By the time it finally rolls out, I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing the mid-engined C8 done for Speed Champions. If anything, that Ideas project will most likely be rejected for conflicting with a preexisting theme, so...
  17. Nonetheless, I rather like the color scheme, as it looks somewhat rustic in a way.
  18. Cool! Another nice CMF-quality promotional figure with dual-molded Blue/Yellow legs, exclusive prints, a new hairpiece recolor, and presumably our first ducky swim ring with normal prints!
  19. Most looking forward to it! Charlie already looks perfect from what can be seen!
  20. Chrysalis and Luna by Moto Modular Starfighter by @Scene Alpha Team Helicopter 2.0 by Chris Perron Blizzard Baron by Andrew Lee Tyranosaurus Nex by Anthony Wilson M-Tron Omega Fighter by CK-MCMLXXXI
  21. Also, comic-inspired sets can be, in the long run, much more timeless compared to ones with a cinematic basis.
  22. It's strange that it reads that Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends was "Created by Britt Allcroft" yet still acknowledges that it's based off of the Railway Series. From the way I'm reading that, I'm sorta thinking that those statements are only claiming HIT and Allcroft's rights over the usage of the name of the TV show to brand the books, and not necessarily any rights over the entire IP. Perhaps I'm just grasping at straws again, but you know... I've tried looking for a few various fan forums dedicated to the franchise to see if anyone was discussing its ownership, but they're either dead, sparsely touched, or only viewable by members of that forum. I'll read YouTube comments from users there on related videos ranting about the quality of the TV show and its tie-in merchandise, and yet still haven't found any discussion pertaining to the ownership rights to the IP.
  23. Instead of a new part, perhaps it'd just be a recolor of TLBM Mr. Freeze's body armor, which would rather accommodate a dome part as opposed to Sandy's helmet, but hey...
  24. Perhaps we'll see more of a bubble-helmeted retro spaceman CMF with a "Retro Space Explorer" archetype in a future series, something more in the vein of 1950's "Astropunk" rather than 1920's/1930's "Raypunk", such as this concept art for instance:
