  1. Yeah, same here for me. But, in the mean time, my picks would have to be for the Rolls Royce Ultra-Fan and The Central Perk Coffee of Friends; though I do suspect one of the two SpaceX projects and/or the ISS may pass review due to the popularity of the Saturn V set.
  2. Yes! Perfect picks! I do hope the Treehouse retains all of its rustic loveliness and an adequate enough scale comparable to that of the original submission.
  3. So, minidoll Aquazone for girls? Ya know, yeah, that could be kinda cool; though I'd like such a theme to also give us some Steampunk, Nautilus-styled submarines amongst its Merfolk builds and settings.
  4. Wow, so you have three archetypes in the pipeline based in some way or another upon my first suggestion...
  5. I'm hoping to see a Amelia Earhart inspired Aviatrix, while on the other hand, I feel that we are quite long over due for a Firefighter/Fireman CMF. Also, I think that both the Steampunk and Anime genres could really use some representation in the line.
  6. Personally, I'm rooting for the Treehouse, as I really don't want to come away with only just another licensed tie-in product with this review.
  7. By the way @Robert8, unless you do have something similar in mind down the road, might I suggest CMFs based upon Alpha Team's Ogel and Fright Knight's Basil the Bat Lord. Respectively, they could be named Evil Mastermind/Supervillain and Vampire Knight/Lord. One of the Series 2 TLBM CMFs did already come with a dolphin, so it's not quite out of the question: Brickset - 71020-6 Swimming Pool Batman Oh, and by the way, you should also share your concept sketches over at this topic!
  8. While many of us here may have exhaustive CMF wishlists, if there was only one archetype you'd hope to see for Series 19 (or at least feel is seriously overdue), which would it be?
  9. For at least the heroes, I'd nominate Major Quinton Steele from Monster Fighters, Agent Chase from Agents, Johnny Thunder of course, Eris (first year minifigure) from Legends of Chima, Macy from Nexo Knights, Lloyd (his fifth year, second wave minifigure) from Ninjago, any first year Power Miners character, Captain Ace Speedman from Atlantis, and Azari Firedancer from Elves.
  10. Well, I hope that hairpiece isn't exclusively licenced to the Overwatch theme, as I could see the Collectable Minifigure line recoloring it in various neon colors for some Anime inspired archetypes. Don't know why they haven't recolored Kai's hairpiece for that purpose after all these years now.
  11. Though we may not be seeing any direct tie-in sets for it, since it is serving as the inspirational basis for the upcoming comic-based sets, I might as well share it here:
  12. That has been noted by others in the past here; but, yeah, it kinda does seem like that's going to be their gameplan from now on for who knows how long.
  13. Personally, I think you should rename/redesignate that 2019 CMS topic for the now confirmed The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part CMS, as there was an individual topic set apart for the first movie's CMS back in 2014. That, or a moderator should perhaps merge this topic under your broader one (since it was posted first) and redesignate it as a discussion topic for Series 19 only.
  14. Phil Lord and Chris Miller's Ron Howard's Solo: A Star Wars Story. Well, given the overall lackluster reception and performance of this installment, I suppose my expectations were set lower for this one compared to other Star Wars movies; but, I found that it wasn't as poor as I thought it'd be. Granted, I may have not cared for a couple of the supporting characters, and I couldn't really buy Ehrenreich as at least Ford's Han Solo, but it was, overall, a fair enough Star Wars flick.
  15. Hooray for the long-awaited return of @Robert8's CMFs with yet another glorious series! I'll just say, as always, there's a lot to come away with for this one; and, my two favorites have to be the most surprising Airline Pilot and the M-Tron themed Space Explorer, the latter which most certainly did not disappoint! Also, another surprising archetype that's rather clever is the Mutant, something I would've never thought of! Already looking forward to December's Series M!
  16. Saw that this just got featured over at the blog ArchBrick. ArchBrick - DISCO 2000 VINYL STORE BY PAU PADRÓS (FLICKR) #LEGO #LEGOARCHITECTURE
  17. By taking inspiration from an entire fan community, I'm sure Lego could've found something else to do for this line that would've struck the right balance between price and MOC quality.
  18. Here's the tweet for anyone wondering. I'm personally expecting/hoping it's going to be some sort of TLG/LAN issued "gift-with-purchase" product survey again.
  19. It looks like his Rebirth design iteration is portrayed there, which I wouldn't mind seeing in physical form for a minifigure debut; but, I'd much rather prefer seeing a more classic iteration for the character's physical debut instead, primarily in the hopes of seeing a new helmet mold introduced for him.
  20. At this point in the game, I think @Ashnflash should publish a book of all his work so far!
  21. For me, the foil parts just seem like a way of disguising the fact that this is suppose to be Lego set. Having said that though, I don't have a problem with Lego builds that aren't immediately recognized as such, it's just that it's so much more impressive when that build is completely constructed from preexisting elements. You know, something akin to that fan creation you see on a blog that makes you say "THAT'S LEGO?! "
  22. I see Adam Strange is amongst that roster, which, according to Brickipedia, has never before been seen in non-physical form in a previous Lego DC videogame. Interesting...
