Welcome to Eurobricks Michael. It's a great place full of friendly, helpful people. Good luck with the competition.

In sets and as loose parts, enough to fill a 10'x8' and half fill a 6'x4' shed. And a still don't know where particular parts are when I need them.

A few months ago I built the 7662 MTT for our dear Jake and both he (obviously) and I are so impressed with it. It's a great design. It's big, detailed and loads of fun. It's also tough, very tough, having been knocked, dropped, toppled and argued over (no, not with me! With Georgie, Jakes 3yr old brother!) with just a few minor pieces departing. I'm afraid I just can't help feeling somewhat underwhelmed by this new one.

I've an inkling of an idea but whether it becomes more than that really depends on what's in my parts box and time. We'll see.

I thought I'd have a go at this competition until I realised that, at the best of times, I haven't got a clue what I'm doing! ;-) I'm really looking forward to seeing what those of you who do come up with. Good luck to you all.

Really nice little model made very quickly indeed. Will you be building any more? I'd love to see what else you can come up with bearing in mind the speed you build and the amount of time left. -
Just seen this and thought it interesting enough to share. I have looked though the forums but couldn't find this story anywhere but apologies if it's been posted before. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2648668/Thats-lot-bricks-114ft-Lego-tower-uses-450-000-blocks-break-world-record.html

Help Needed Please
grum64 replied to grum64's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
You Sir, are a Gentleman and I thank you most sincerely. -
I know all things are subjective and we're all entitled to have our own opinions on things but for the life of me I don't understand how the people who rated this set as poor/below average/average came to that conclusion. In my most humble opinion it's flippin' awesome!

Good Morning TechnicSteve I'm not sure if this will be of any help to you or not but I've just found an 8857 for sale on a UK free ads site. The description says it's in perfect condition but obviously that's something you'd need to check for yourself. Here's the link: http://m.friday-ad.co.uk/bristol/for-sale/hobbies-leisure/hobbies/lego-technic-8857-TT214HE14#CTuVgj224l0hRrZr.03 Hope this helps.
