INCREDIBLE! I've never seen anything quite like it, it's beautifully done. Surely good enough to be used in any future Lego Movie!

Mini ausrada
grum64 replied to yys530's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
This looks really good but I must admit I didn't have a clue what an Asurada was until I Googled it. Now Having seen the originals I'm really impressed. * Jakes just informed me it's just not good, it's way cool! Praise indeed. -
Very nice little models. The 331 reminds me very much of the old Sentinel Steam trucks and your 'modern day' remake is very much reminiscent of the Volvo F89.

Nice little model I'm not familiar with the original magnetiser but looking at the picture you've provided I think you've interpreted it really well.

My very dear cousin David is getting married to the lovely Siobhan in August and I need an outfit. I know it's a long shot but do you have anything in a 36 waist, 38 chest?

What are your Lego Star Wars collecting habits?
grum64 replied to Something_Awesome's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Easy. I buy & build what Jake, and now George, like. Whilst the sets they now have, the 7662 MTT, 7676 & 75021 Republic Gunships and 75004 Headhunter can't be called a collection by some members standards it's the beginning of one. -
To disinfect it thoroughly and without harming the parts I suggest you soak it in a solution of Milton sterilising fluid. If it's gentle enough to be used for those most precious to us it's gentle enough to be used our beloved little ABS friends.

I never thought the words Hummer and beautiful would ever go together but with this, they most certainly do. I love it! -

Ferrari 458 Spider
grum64 replied to Blakbird's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Amazing job Blackbird. The instructions are looking to be almost as much a 'work of art' as the 458. -
Besides not discovering the joy of Technic years ago my biggest Lego regret without doubt is selling my 8258 & 8275. My only excuse is I was offered very, very good prices for each (over £200 for 'bully'). I've regretted it ever since especially as the 8258 was the first ever Technic set I built. I've just swapped a couple of sets that were 'surplus to requirement' for an 8275 and am looking for an 8258 but man, they're expensive!
