[MOC] Galloping Horse

Amazing! -
After leaving school I spent 3 years in the UK Merchant Navy & saw many of these plucky little vessels in their many different guises. I developed a love for them and huge respect for their crews. That was over 30 years ago and tugs have changed immensely in that time but that love and respect continues. The models you make are truly awesome in their detail and conception and, in my view anyway, are a fitting 'tribute' to tugs past and present and the men that crew them. I hope this makes sense.

I love seeing what all you incredibly talented people do to improve the functionality of Lego's 'standard' models. Personally I wouldn't know where to start with something so seemily complex as the 42009, I found it hard enough coming up with simple changes to my 8110. It was fun though and to me that's the main thing. I can only hope that by reading these pages, seeing & understanding the techniques used and putting them into practice, my building skills will improve.

I find a drop of Drambuie neither helps nor hinders my creative process. It just makes the time spent more enjoyable. -

I've shown this to 7 different members of my family this evening with ages ranging from 7 to 96 and without exception their reactions to it have been huge smiles. Those smiles say more than I can possibly write. Thank you.
