  1. Thanks Gunman, glad you like it Thank you!
  2. Thanks Paddy!
  3. Excellent vignette Maestro! The trees turned out wonderfully, and I like the patches of green on the ground. Good addition with the light blue flowers as well
  4. Nice vignette Titus, I'm liking the patches of green foliage The dark green looks great here as well, though the section of rock on the right looks a little too uniform, in my opinion. That's a minor nitpick though.
  5. Wonderful build! The composition is superb, with the all the various levels and roofs. Excellent color choices as well, the medium dark flesh and dark bley windows go nicely with the tan and dark tan walls. Fabulous accompanying landscape too
  6. Thank you sander! I tried to make it very similar to the actual sets. The floor is made using 1x6x5 panels in white, and filling in the middle sections of them with columns of bricks. A couple of 1x2 and 1x1 SNOT tiles are then put in, so that it fills up the hole almost perfectly. Hopefully that makes sense, if you would like further explanation I could take some pictures for you
  7. My second build for the 2017 LEGO Speeder Bike Contest, for the Overkill Oval category. The track was probably the most difficult part of this build, and it ended up going through several iterations before settling on the current design. Ready to tear through opponents, the Rock Wrecker’s brutal saw and powerful laser are a deadly combination. And if things really get out of hand, its deployable missiles in the hidden undercarriage compartment end things with a bang. More pictures on Brickbuilt Thanks for looking, C&C welcome
  8. The roof extending over the firewood pile looks fantastic, and gives a nice bit of asymmetry to the layout of the building The stone foundation is great as well, as are the snowscaping and path. While a different color door could be nice, I personally think that the plain RB works well here. Overall a fabulous build, looking forward to more like it!
  9. Such a wonderful idea, and very well executed! The stratified rock is superb, and of course the Trojan camel is excellent as well! The various scaffolding platforms, bushes, and cactus are great details too
  10. Thank you very much for the long detailed comment, Jacob, it means a lot Good point about the parrot, I believe we have one I could've used. The boat hanging from the side was one of my favorite parts as well, and the play function of it can be rather tempting at times, as the lady standing in the building up there is the only thing holding the winch; therefore, if you take her out, the guy sitting in the boat gets a, shall we say, quick ride to the water I definitely plan on dabbling more in the pirate theme in the future Thank you! Thank you Faladrin, glad you like it!
  11. An entry for the LEGO Life logo contest on Rebrick. Under each ‘stud’ on the brick, there is an 8×8 minifig scale vignette, in the same theme as the microscale build above it. I tried to represent three of the core themes of LEGO: City, Space, and Castle. This was a very enjoyable build, as I got to dabble in several themes, but it still all came together fairly quickly and easily. Lots more pictures on Brickbuilt Thanks for looking, C&C welcome
  12. Thanks UM! Thank you, it was really fun trying to fit the build in with the style of Rock Raiders, glad you like how it turned out Thanks sander! I'll probably be trying some more RR builds in the future
  13. Nice build, Brandon. The wedge plates in the landscaping are excellent, and I like the boulder off to the left. As Henjin said, some more leaves on the tree would be nice, but overall a great little vignette.
  14. As I said in your intro thread, welcome to Kaliphlin! Always great to have new members
  15. Your use of cheese slope patterns in buildings is so inspiring Another great addition to your hamlet! As usual, your roof is very well done, and I like the balconies on the second story
  16. Haha, whoops, didn't realize the name was an actual set Glad you like it, it was a lot of fun to build! Yes, the drills are in a rather poor location if you actually want to drill things with them. Maybe they can double as blasters? Glad you like the brown details, I wanted to incorporate at least a little bit of it. And yes, he was obviously going too fast to notice those precious crystals...
  17. Built for the Vastlands Cross category of the 2017 LEGO speeder Bike Contest over on Flickr. I decided to go with a Rock Raiders theme for my bikes this year, which was great fun. We acquired several Rock Raiders figs and some dark turquoise parts at BFVA 2016, so it was good to put them to use. The Rapid Rider is well equipped for it’s trek across the vastlands, with its chrome drills ready to decimate any obstacle in it’s path. In the unlikely event a repair is needed, there are survival supplies and tools in the satchel. It also comes with retractable landing gear for easy maintenance and landing. More pictures on Brickbuilt Thanks for looking, C&C welcome
  18. Probably my favorite series yet! So many that I like a lot, but a few of my favorites are: Celtic Battler, Hat Maker, Spooky Knight, Equestrienne, Sprite, Egyptian Empress, and the Minstrel. Keep up the fabulous work, really look forward to all of your series!
  19. Excellent vignette, the crumbling stonework looks great The mixing of tan and dark tan for the sand works well here, and I like the occasional olive green stem. I'm not a big fan of the tilted tiles on the back of your wall, keeping at least the majority of them straight would have looked better I think. Great job with the base and fire as well
  20. Haha, definitely a great idea for the category! The little roof over the 'mailbox' looks great, and I like the dark green landscaping.
  21. Gorgeous tree design The snow clad branches are fantastic, as are the trunks. Beautiful path too, the bits of snow are a great addition
  22. That tree is fabulous The decorative border is nice, as well as the fig posing. As others have said, a little more ground texturing and plants would be good, but overall a nice little build
  23. Excellent bug, especially the piece usage for the wings Great little base too, the NK shields give some nice decoration.
  24. Fabulous build, Henjin, you captured the dark atmosphere perfectly. The path texturing, tree, and vultures are all excellent. Great color choice with the sand green as well.
  25. Absolutely wonderful beast! The use of capes for his wings is very effective, and you did a great job using lots of small pieces, yet not making the beast look spindly at the same time. The boulder landscape is fantastic as well, a very strong entry overall
