Fantastic new graphics Hinckley! One of my favorites that I've seen here so far -
Good job of packing everything in to such a small footprint. The bottle design is nice, and the figs are excellent

Such a difficult choice this round I ended up going with the viking, but the forestman and bagpiper are fantastic as well. Curious to see who will move on.

My sixth entry for ABS builder challenge. This build came together quite quickly, though the presentation was a bit of a challenge to get right. The lobster was a fun challenge to create, and I’m quite pleased with the result, though perhaps my personal favorite part of the build is the cup. Inspiration goes to Siercon and Coral, as well as Legohaulic. The dark red seed part is used 12 times. More pictures on Brickbuilt Thanks for looking, C&C welcome

Personally, I'm rather fond of a certain fellow in the front middle with a nice broad smile on his face, and some stylish armor. Great at epic poses, though his beard isn't as impressive in person... -
My fourth entry for the ABS builder challenge, and a collaboration with Dave Zambito, a fellow Azure Blue teammate. We were both at a local LUG event this Saturday, so I contacted him asking if he would be interested in doing a live collab while we were there. He said yes, so we decided on a subject matter and each brought some bricks to build with. Despite only having around 2 hours to build, we were able to complete the whole thing at the event. 28 of the seed part are included in the build, in 4 different colors. My category B entry, for the resistance: -
My entry for Category B of Challenge V, as well as a bonus entry to ABS Builder challenge. Credit for the arch design goes to Mark of Falworth. The Katoren siege-workshop is in full swing as they manufacture all types of siege weapons for the war against the Spire. More pictures on Brickbuilt Thanks for looking, C&C welcome

The roof is made out of Brick, Modified 1 x 2 x 1 1/3 with Curved Top.
-
My first entry for the ABS season 1 Finale. This build initially started with the terracotta roof, and then while I was playing around with them some more I thought they made a nice bridge. The scene was inspired by Legopard and Brickvader’s excellent Venice creation. More pictures on Brickbuilt Thanks for looking, C&C welcome

My second entry for the ABS builder challenge. The seed part is the dark red Brick, Modified 1 x 2 x 1 1/3 with Curved Top. Since today is Pi day, I thought it would be nice to make a little tribute for it. Thanks for looking, C&C welcome.

Great idea for a build, and executed nicely I like the RB in the ditch to give the impression of wetter soil, and the 1x1 round tiles help break up the tan landscape nicely.

Good to start seeing a bit more of Khadira! The SNOT ground is very effective here, and makes for a superbly shaped hole. Excellent combination of arches and slopes for the window, it really gives a middle eastern vibe, and as Garmadon mentioned, I love the supervisor sitting under the nice shade of the awning

Book 2 Challenge V Cat B: Statue of Doom

Excellent work, the trans light blue and black with the claws make a great atmosphere A little more ground texturing would be nice, but the dark brown spikes are a good addition. -

New free-build, this time in Avalonia: -
A fun build for the ABC’s of Castle, over on Classic-Castle. The idea is to pick a castle word that starts with any letter, build it and then post it (in alphabetical order). For my first contribution, I did the letter ‘B’, which stands for blacksmith. The blacksmith shop lifts off the base for easy play-ability, and features a full interior, as well as hinging walls for easy access. Inspiration for the wall texturing goes to Rod Gillies. Hardwin the smithy is always kept busy at his work, with all the local farmers coming to him for their tools and when their horses need shoeing. He's also known for his fine armor and weapons that he makes when not occupied with other tasks. More pictures on Brickbuilt Thanks for looking, C&C welcome

Brickstory 2017 - Building Contest
LittleJohn replied to dudek's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
Always a very fun contest to compete in, thanks for hosting again! -
Gorgeous build, Jaap! I love how everything has a sort of run down look, yet it's all still very clean. The color choices are phenomenal, and I think the light blue landscape turned out well. Interesting base design too, having the build coming up out of the reddish brown looks surprisingly nice.

Thanks Kai, glad you like it. I agree that the transition would be easier to see on a bigger path. Thanks HQ! Coming from a place that gets snow regularly, I would have to disagree about the path though; the middle is not as moist/slushy as the edges generally speaking. Thanks Titus! Thanks Leonardo! Though slush is going to occur on all paths, not just the main ones Thank you

New free-build from me, set in Mitgardia: -
Just a quick 30 minute LUG speed-build that I liked enough to take pictures of and post. One of the main things I wanted to try with this build was the transition from tan to dark tan on the edges of the path, to give the impression of slush. A Mitgardian trapper goes for a walk in the early morning, after a freshly fallen snow. More pictures on Brickbuilt Thanks for looking, C&C welcome
