  1. Beautiful build, Captain Flint! The stone texturing is superb as always, and I really like the tudor additions. Fantastic work on the rounded roof as well, they're definitely not an easy thing to build
  2. Such a unique and creative idea, but also executed flawlessly! The yellow highlighting around windows is great, genius use of those chima flame pieces The furnace is superb too, with the light up feature and excellent door design.
  3. Wonderful entry, I love the color-scheme! The book-holding teapot is a great addition, and the interior is absolutely fantastic, especially the use of plate with rail for a book being pulled off the shelf Great floor pattern and roofs too
  4. Thank you, glad you like it! Thanks, I thought it was a fitting idea too Thank you! Thanks Thank you, Withacee! That door might have worked nicely here, though I'm not sure if it would have fit as well size-wise. Thanks for the suggestion though, I'll keep it in mind for future builds Thank you Cara! Glad you like it Thanks, Palixa!
  5. Fantastic list so far, great to see them compiled like this! Some more suggestions: Thanks for doing this BrickCurve
  6. Built for the 7th annual Expand the Winter Village Contest. All the doors open, there is a pop out ice block function, and a secret compartment under the house for hiding presents. The building itself was inspired by this model. It was quite an enjoyable build process, especially the wooden porch section. The ice house is particularly busy in the winter months, as blocks of ice are cut and then put into the storage shack to await delivery via truck to customers’ homes. Lots more pictures on Brickbuilt Thanks for looking, C&C welcome!
  7. Really nice vignette, Don! The ground texturing is great, and I absolutely love that loaded horse! Excellent fig combos too
  8. Fantastic mosaic! The paw turned out superb, much better than your first try. The RB border with green and yellow highlights looks great here too
  9. Simply wonderful, definitely in my you 5 from you ever There's no comparison to seeing it in real life. As you already know, I love the color choices and wall texturing, and the whole build being several angled sections is just phenomenal. Possibly my favorite aspect of it though, is the interior, there's so many small details and cool designs
  10. Excellent archery tournament, Isaac. Both spectator stands are superb, (though, as with Kai, I like the red and dark blue one better, of course ) and the targets and ground texturing are great too
  11. I placed this scene in Mitgardia:
  12. My 9th entry into the CCC XIV, for the ‘Ice Castle’ category. Credit for the tree design goes to Legopard. I didn’t really think I was going to do an entry for the castle category this year, but after looking at several wooden castles from various people, I decided to give it a try. I’m quite pleased with how it turned out. The story continues one that Isaac started here. One of the first visits Glorfindel made was to the nearby village of Balkr. Since it was nearby, and the jarl, Torkild, was good friends with Karsten it seemed like a logical starting point. Also for these reasons, Karsten allowed the twins to go with Glorfindel and Dedan. Eryl and Elise were enjoying the little excursion, and Glorfindel was glad to have a chance to spend some time with his nephew and niece. Upon arriving at Balkr, Glorfindel and Dedan were welcomed by jarl Torkild and went into the long house to discuss their news. "Feel free to explore the village, but stay close by, we shouldn't be long," Glorfindel said to the twins. They soon found several village children and a shortly after a vigorous snowball fight was underway. As they had expected, Torkild was quite willing to keep a close eye on the Nocturnus border. In fact, from the look of things in the village, he already had been strengthening the town watch. Upon exiting the hall, Glorfindel was almost hit by a snowball! Laughing, he glanced at the playful kids and saw that one of the village children had just been clobbered by a large snowball. "Sorry to break up the party, but I'm afraid we need to head back to Harburg now." "Alright Uncle Fin," Eryl answered reluctantly, "thanks for playing Toke and Stefan!" More build pictures: And as usual, you can find more on brickbuilt. Thanks for looking
  13. Very nice outpost, Legofin! The combination of wall and rockwork is superb, and I like the lookout tower. Superb ground texturing as usual too
  14. Thanks Exetrius! That tree by far took the most trial and error, so I'm glad you like how it turned out Thanks a lot, Sleg! Glad you noticed the gardens. Credit for the bird design goes to Eklund. Thanks Roanoke! Thanks HQ! Really glad you like it so much. As I mentioned above, credit for the bird design goes to Eklund. Yes, the squirrel was one thing I wasn't completely sure about either, but as you said, it works better than the friends one (which I was initially going to use). I'll keep trying to improve on it in the future though Thanks Garmadon! Glad you like it! Thanks Kai, I've wanted to try a dark blue roof for a while, but we don't have much of it; for a build this size, however, it's just enough! I see what you mean about the stream, though for this particular build I didn't want to use trans clear, and we don't have enough trans light blue cheese for it. I'll keep it in mind for future builds though Thanks, Leonardo! Thanks Blufiji! And yes indeed, I am going for MB this year Thanks Isaac! Thanks Titus! Glad you like it! Thanks FP! Composition is something I always something I concentrate on in my builds, glad you like it! Thanks en_zoo! It would be interesting to try expanding it a little, though I'm afraid it's been dis-assembled long ago. Thank you very much! Thanks Thanks UM! Glad you liked the last picture. As Isaac said, the hair piece is supposed to be a birds nest
  15. Superb siege tower Maestro, definitely one of the better ones that I have seen! The boulder in the ground is a great touch as well, and the trees are excellent
  16. Thank you, glad you think I captured the elven feel, that was definitely my main goal here Thanks Mpyromaxos!
  17. Very nice hunting lodge, it blends in perfectly with it's surroundings! I agree with Titus that perhaps one or two more colors would've been nice, though the muted color pallet here doesn't look bad by any means! The sand green and dense foliage look great for the forest setting
  18. Very nice cottage, Titus, the stonework turned out beautifully The blending of colors in the ground is very well done, and I like the little sapling growing out of the rock.
  19. Ooh, really looking forward to where this goes! Absolutely fantastic build, Ecc! The color-scheme is gorgeous, and I love the various buildings inside Excellent ships too
  20. Excellent work here, the crumbled wall effect is fantastic! The crazy angles are also pulled off nicely, and fit perfectly with the Skavenport feel. That road texturing is superb too
  21. Excellent ship, the hull shaping turned out very well! As others have said, the dark orange fits quite nicely, and the foam created by the boat is superb as well
  22. Very nice build, the tower is excellent and I like the tree and bits of vegetation Cool decoration around the roof too
  23. Excellent build here, Maestro You're wall texturing keeps improving, and I like the little details here, like the sign post. The well, SNOT base design, and weapons cart are all superb too
  24. Very nice little vignette, the ground texturing is excellent and I like the bits of olive green mixed in Great job with the figs and details under the wooden shelter too
