  1. Fantastic build. Even the 3D printed valve gear looks great. Your detail work is amazing, but you do have the ability to look at the real thing. Still, excellent work.
  2. Thanks Grazi. I probably should have put more wreckage, but was limited on space. Your work shows I could have. I needed room for the MANPADS launch though.
  3. Great detail work on the scene. Your attention to the scenery and details on the aircraft remains are top notch. Might want to edit a work or two. I like $^@& or something similar. I only have Paint as well, so I write my text out in the post.
  4. Thanks. The landscape took the most time. It's being built for another project, but seemed perfect to use for this too. Danke. Once I decided the military round style parachutes weren't going to be doable, it all clicked (pun intended). Sports parachutes are more rectangular and easy to fit in LEGO dimensions. The biggest issue is center of gravity. If the CG isn't right, the parachute bends the minifig over at the waist. I managed to get a handful of ice cream parts at a Pick A Brick wall about a year ago. I didn't know what I'd use them for until I needed to build a cliff. Adding the waterfall, they seemed perfect for the spray. And the plume out of the back of the SAM.
  5. You went all out on the details of your boxcar. The decals look great on it, even if they were a pain to apply. Using the bullion tiles on the sides is perfect. Even the rodding on the underside is well constructed and present. Top notch work!
  6. The briefer concludes her presentation on the location of the suspected radioactive cargo lost by Tosul. The usual buoyant atmosphere in the room is muted. The men remember it was Tosul agents that slaughtered their comrades in Antarctica recently. One operator gruffly asks, "If we're supposed to get there by water, I don't see how a submarine insertion will beat a Tosul team." As if on cue, the door opens and a familiar face appears. "Gerard le Brique!" barks the team leader as he grabs his submachine gun from the table. "Oui. I'm on your side now," le Brique calmly states. "Your Ministry of State Secrets has offered me a position helping your efforts. In return, I'm not languishing in your gulag." ********** The go-fast boat the MSS provided to reformed pirate Gerand le Brique pulled in close to the rugged cliff line. Quickly, the team lead fired a grappling hook up. Operatives quickly climbed the rope up to the top of the cliff. The men set up a defensive perimeter while one man checks for radiation with a Geiger counter. Hearing only a few random clicks, the radiation specialist reports, "All clear!" "Aircraft inbound!" the team lead cries, pointing to the west. Their heavy weapons man quickly identifies it. "Tosul short field cargo aircraft," he calmly states while beginning to track it with his 8G456 IR MANPADS. "Take 'em down." Sneering, the MANPADS operator listens for the tone, then squeezes the trigger. In a burst of gas and flame, the infrared seeking missile launches at the twin-engine cargo aircraft. As the missile operator tracks his target, he sees specks drop from the doomed airplane. "Jumpers in the air," he says. "I count five." As the chutes billow out, the team lead chuckles. "Four chutes." "Light those Megablock sons o' Playmobile up!" the leader orders. The others cut down the paratroopers before they have the chance to reach the ground. With the immediate threat eliminated, the radiation specialist and heavy weapons man begin moving the armoured canister of highly enriched uranium. With care, they lower it on the rope to the go-fast boat. The instant the final operative is onboard, Gerard pushed up the throttles on his go-fast boat. The twin engines howl as they rapidly accelerate to nearly 80 knots on the light seas.
  7. Nice build. I like how a few of them are sweating as they peer over their sights at the other side.
  8. Nailed the vending machine. Does it come with a flickering light too?
  9. Gorgeous model. Your attention to every detail on this classic "Superpower" Berkshire is to be commended.
  10. Nice castle. The color is really bold, and the design, with studs out on the walls gives a different look. Using the bars to make the angles for the walls is great. All together, well done.
  11. NPU with the buckets. The CMF gingerbread houses work perfectly for this scale. Well done on the scene.
  12. Great diorama. Nice message.
  13. Wonderful recreation and enhancement of the original. Retaining the original color scheme, while expanding it as you did really fits. Are those TIE Fighter cockpit pieces on the wheels?
  14. Stomp stomp stomp! Fantastic work building this massive beast. NPU on the ears and bands around the legs. The scenery evokes a cold, Nordic feel.
  15. Stunning. You nailed this Ferrari. The use of the Technic panel for the door is ingenious and it works perfectly.
  16. That's a proper sized Nebulon-B. Your attention to all the details of the shape are to be commended. Great work!
  17. The Devil Ray Mk II spacecraft is a feature in the Dolphin Wars series of books. https://thedolphinwars.com/ The author recently commissioned me to build him this spacecraft.
  18. Masterful work. The size, complexity, and details are astounding!
  19. Quite the collection of 12v. Your mods and MOCs all fit in with the period. The KoF is great!
  20. Great work on recreating this Santa Fe Hudson. The lighting could be better on the renders, but I can tell all the details you added.
  21. Great display. Your walkerette is really cute. Overall, it definitely has a Japanese feel, but the bits of dieselpunk give it a personality all its own.
  22. Grazi. I've visited a few submarines and watched the classic "Das Boot", so I worked off of those to make this scene.
  23. Thanks. I tried to get the camp as a flat in the backdrop, but it wasn't working well. The tent angles with wedge plates was impossible at the scale I wanted.
  24. Even without the stickers, this dampflok looks wonderful. Good luck with the electrical wiring solution. I do like how the LGB hook coupler can be removed, and how you managed to integrate it into a LEGO solution.
  25. @Mandalorianknight I see the washing machine setup from the Brick Bank, but with classic space torsos being tossed in. Pilot + medical school = flight doctor.
