  1. Trunk monkey! Overall, it fits with the Time Cruisers theme, but I think the lab exterior could use a bit more zany. Besides the trans-neon orange window and big telescope, nothing is really out of place. The modded Hypno Cruiser is perfect. Right mix of zany with functional.
  2. Stunning! Such detail, yet quite pose able. The dragon head piece on top gives it a vicious vibe.
  3. Love the forced perspective. It really looks like the hall goes on for quite a ways as it fades to black.
  4. Well done capturing the look of this HST.
  5. Great work. You got it perfect, right down to the angle of the tyres.
  6. Good work. Love the bat wings on the small craft. Interesting use of the tail fins for a clamp on the rover hatch.
  7. Nifty design. The use of those octagonal pieces really fits with the Futuron vibe. Classic.
  8. Nice build. For a few "random" bits, you made a good ship.
  9. Brilliant! Spyrius colors and feel, check. Big robot, check. Great looking ship to boot. Kudos.
  10. Fantastic JA-37! Lots of details included and it looks great. Your ability to capture the wing shape accurately is amazing.
  11. The opinion the Daily Bugle is LEGO's best set is probably an unpopular one. Quite fitting for this thread. Give me a cheap, swooshable airplane/spacecraft with a minifig and I'll have more fun with it than any Rivendell or Daily Bugle. Both of those monster sets may have great designs, techniques, or look fabulous, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. My opinion may be unpopular too, but it's Mine.
  12. Great LEGO version of the iconic Trabant. It's even Speed Champion sized!
  13. Your day 8 rover is top notch! NPU with the Minion head for a hatch. The Quacketeers are just funny.
  14. Quite the reimagining of the classic. The way you captured all the original details, yet made them better is wonderful.
  15. @Johnny1360 I rarely buy more than one of the big sets on clearance. But those small sets were so cheap and the parts perfect for me. I think I bought about 30 of the BrickHeadz. Paid less than €100. As mentioned, I didn't come close to cleaning them out. Clearing the shelves for a moment, yes. But what I did on a few BrickHeadz sets, others do with huge wallets and pallet jacks.
  16. Not everybody is in it to resell. When they put the Brickheadz on clearance that I mentioned, I wanted them for the parts. Those new bricks with all the studs on the sides and plethora of tiles were a boon to me.
  17. Well done on your crane. If it isn't a perfect replica of the actual crane, it still looks amazing. Having all the functions as well makes it even more impressive. Excellent start here, keep up the good work.
  18. Gorgeous venue for holy matrimony. I was thinking a nice outdoor gazebo when I saw the title, but this blew me away. All the details, down to the tailor's ability to do themed weddings is great. BTW, I can see that wonderful dolphin fountain at a wedding, gazebo or corner modular. Kudos.
  19. Vicious beast. The segmented design works well, the mouth is great (especially with the coloration), and the little scooter gives it scale. Great work.
  20. Probably a reason those Brickheadz were such a deal. I don't find clearance deals like that often, but you never know. Sometimes even the Tesco sales are good enough.
  21. Good maintenance of way train. Perfect for working on the catenary with the lift.
  22. Interesting design. The big ball and socket joints for the wing supports is different.
  23. Killer Blacktron mecha. Feels like the evil baddy has a perfect ride for combat. Not too massive, but still towering above.
  24. Clearance. I've been known to raid stores when they put LEGO on clearance. Half off a set is enough for me to clean the shelves at times. Those Marvel $10 mecha with minifigs are a great example. A retailer put them on end of season clearance for $4 each. I loaded a trolley with them. Found some DC and Star Wars Brickheadz for €3 a piece. Tried to clean them out, until I found out they a pallet of Flash, Cyborg, Rey and Kylo Ren each in the back. I wasn't that crazy.
  25. Superb recreation of the Karlsruhe park railway. The size makes the minifigures almost look perfect for this.
