  1. Oooh, I like the sail design and rigging. What a motley band of misfits, perfect for going a-Viking!
  2. Wonderful Nordic garden. It feels tranquil merely looking at it.
  3. Thanks. This tunnel was setup to be as short or long as required. The ruby eyed face is one of those fun things I added to give kids something to look for.
  4. Brilliant. It evokes the late 60's Camero vibe, but with an aggressive drag racing look. The engine work is outstanding and a great bonus.
  5. Perfect 5-wide truck. You started with the right wheels and then built up properly from there.
  6. Interesting cockpit setup. In space, what is up? You did great with that concept and the "inverted" cockpit. I like the skateboard mod too.
  7. Impressive. Love all the detail work that went into this. Everything from the flying gull to the smaller cannons. Even the rocks have a weathered feel.
  8. Well done. The integration of PU motorization makes it truly functional. Does it automatically know where to stop via programming or is it on the operator?
  9. I'd built a tunnel segment many years ago. It was a small setup that fit onto a single 32x32 baseplate. As my layout expanded, the tunnel looked small, and out of place. I started expanding it, and then the project snowballed. As my layout is never the same between shows, and the hassle of trying to transport it became evident, I had to think about its future. Thusly, I made it into a modular design. Most tunnel segments are on a 32x32 baseplate with an 8x32 baseplate extension on the front. One segment is built on 16-wide to allow for optimization of space depending on the layout and how much room I'm allowed. Here is the full tunnel with all segments I have built. With the exceptions of the ends (and the 16-wide segment, more below), they can be placed in any order. The cabin portal. Two tracks with 8 studs between them. Supports are designed for a 10-wide opening. It is 13 bricks high from the top of the rail to the start of the arches. As seen here, the Disney locomotive fits (barely) width wise, while an intermodal double stack well car makes it through as well height wise. Side view of the cabin portal segment. The 16-wide spacer segment. This one is designed to be butted against the cabin for the woodpile, but could go elsewhere if required. The woodpile can quickly be removed and a tree or other foliage added. The mountain segment. Side view of the mountain segment. The hiking path tunnel goes completely through as well, with a one stud offset. Additionally, you can see the support structure. Note the technic bricks spanning the top and the two down at the bottom. These features are included in all of the segments. That allows me to insert technic pins to the bottom bricks, and anywhere along the top to provide a firm connection between segments. I also put a few plates on the top to hold them together too. As you can see, there is a back plate to all the segments, making them more visually acceptable at shows. The waterfall segment. The expanded waterfall segment. Note the wind turbine on the rocks. Three tunnel segments have points for these. I've only built a pair of turbines though. The 16x32 baseplate at the base of the waterfall expands the scene to show the base. With the removal of a plate, it has an outlet for the river as well. The castle segment. Not visible is the draw bridge leading up to the front entrance and a hidden side exit through the rocks on the right side. In winter, this becomes a double black diamond ski slope. It also has a wind turbine support area. The forest portal segment. It is the final segment with a wind turbine option. The forest portal opening. There you have it, the modular tunnel and all segments I've currently constructed. Did you find the ruby eyed face?
  10. Genetically engineered for a specific role in society. Probably based on the anticipated needs of some obscure plan.
  11. Cool truck. Small, period, and well detailed. The bonnet is ingenious.
  12. I take it you've never lived in a snowy area? Bad housing development in one area can be a smart design in another.
  13. Insanely well done! Masterpiece of design and function in LEGO. Ooh, but that boss devil, not so much fun to work with her. I can see why the employees drink.
  14. Wicked design. Looks mean with the shark canopy and still retains the Ice Planet 2002 feel. The aft dorsal and ventral compartments are a neat touch. The dorsal hatch ability to move in two ways to open up for the big radar is ingenious.
  15. Crazy large and well detailed scene. Love the mix of older Ice Planet 2002 and new Nexo Knights parts to make this. Having the underground part with such details makes this really cool (pun intended).
  16. Brilliant design. Small, yet well detailed. The lance is a stand out feature. Kudos.
  17. The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress is a four-engined heavy bomber developed in the 1930s for the United States Army Air Corps (USAAC). Relatively fast and high-flying for a bomber of its era, the B-17 was used primarily in the European Theater of Operations during World War II. It is the third-most produced bomber of all time. The creator understands the tail marking isn't in the correct position, but is limited by the design.
  18. Agreed. A break is a good idea at this point. There aren't many players and the interest isn't there.
  19. This is a gem. Great work on all the details, down to the valve gear even.
  20. Clever use of lots of various pieces one wouldn't expect to see in a starship. And it hits all the M-Tron vibes. Kudos.
  21. Stellar reskin. The original Blacktron scheme works greats on this. The engine area does seem a bit, bright, though. Maybe swap in some dark bley?
  22. Fine whaler you've created. It shows you did considerable research to create this ship with all the details you included for a whaler. Kudos.
  23. Great scene. The fog effects give it the right feel for a cold northern battle. The jumbled feel for the rocks is cool.
  24. Incredible work. Your method for connecting is quite ingenious as @Darkkostas25 mentioned. They look good moving around the layout as well. Digital doesn't always translate well to real bricks, but here it does.
  25. Great fast ship. You managed to blend the colors for SP1 well with new and Technic pieces to create a sleek fighter. You even kept the multi-role ability that LEGO Space used to have.
