Big Nose Bill, the lonely Pirate

I like this guy, he has lots of character. The bucket handle as a belt buckle works perfectly. That stood out to me. His "clothes" overall are very well done. Also the environment looks great, very natural.

    70751 Temple of Airjitzu

Thanks 8BrickMario and Etzel. I always have a hard time identifying pieces after these mini-darkages.

    70751 Temple of Airjitzu

Looks like a nice set for Ninjago fans. But as a huge historical themes fan who's dying for more realistic Japanese architecture, I'm not very interested in it. The blue house looks good, and the bridge is well build. But the temple and the green building just look... messy somehow. I don't think this set holds a candle to Medieval Market Village. Does anyone know what pieces are used to make the green building's roof? And the gold arm looking pieces? Oh, and the olive grass pieces are fantastic. Nice little homage to the original Ninja theme with that flyer too. I do really like that touch.

[MOC] Goblin Gliders and a Special Glider...

These look great! I especially like the Iron Man one. I've never seen that Hobgoblin minifigure before, is it official? I can't find one that looks exactly like it on custom figure sites, or actual sets.

"If it wasn't for the Rahkshi there would be no 2004"

I don't know anything about that quote, but the Rahkshi were the first Bionicle sets that really got my attention. And got me into the whole Bionicle craze. I still really like them today even. IMO, their design held up quite well compared the the whole first generation of Bionicle.

    MOC: Bengal Tiger Head

Breathtaking. It looks extraordinary from every angle. This deserves to be on the front page of this site.

    [MOC] Peaceful Existence

It is very peaceful living in the classic castle world... until your house slides into the stream. Great build! The house's overhang is very eye catching. I also like the use of barrels for the tree's trunk.
  8. Ah, you're right. It's the shadow from the shoulder guards... darn. Oh well. Haha. My thoughts exactly.
  9. WOW. The King, Evil Wizard, and Goblin are absolutely amazing figures. Female Samurai, Fencer, Egyptian Warrior and Alien are great figs too. I spy with my little eye... two tone arm prints on the Girl Samurai. Also, we finally get dark red Samurai armor! Though, I don't know how good it will look without a matching kabuto... The Goblin is fantastic. But maybe he'd be even better with the short legs? Can TLC print onto those? I wouldn't be too excited about the Egyptian Warrior if it wasn't for that perfect new shield mold! He's using it like a moron, but flip it right-side-up, slap a different print on it and our medieval armies have an awesome new shield! I'm very surprised by the Evil Wizard, I thought he'd be "okay" at best. Dat cape. This looks like it'll be one of the best series. It is a shame we have to go back to the (IMO) near useless Simpsons line after this.

    Jules: The Scarved Sorceress

Looks like she could be a main character in a NIS game. Great work. The shaping overall is perfect. Do her bangs (Gali's mask) stay in place?

Jurassic World 2015 Rumors & Discussion

Agreed. A stegosaurus would be cool. But the one I really want is a brachiosaurus. (I don't know anything about Jurassic Park, they do exist in the movies, right?)

[MoC] There's a hole in the earth...

Haha, great build! That roof is really cool. I don't think I've seen that done before.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Man, using those Hero Factory fists on the top of the detective's office really is genus. I also like how they framed the windows with those technic pieces held in place by the new Mixel ball joint cups. There is some great parts usage going on in this set.

    Team Fortress 2 [MOC]

Haha, I love this! The non-default hats is a great touch. The minifigs overall look really nice. Some of the heads you used are perfect matches for the classes. The landscape looks accurate too. I thought it was Upward for a sec. I stopped playing TF2 this year for various reasons, but you've made me want to jump back in. Great MOC!

Jurassic World 2015 Rumors & Discussion

Thanks for the pictures Just2good! A second chance to get dinos without paying an arm and a leg! Yippee! The dark green raptor with the sand green underbelly looks great. Not sure how I feel about the mutant T-rex... The colors, while quite unique, feel a bit bland.
  16. The hilt looks angular like the KK2 greatsword to me... But the tip of the sword is more pointy like the current greatsword. I can't really tell. Yep. As was Unikitty. ...
  17. Nope! I'm really anticipating the samurai minifig too. Even if it's not a miko like I want, there's still the possibility of TLC reusing that LoTR spear in a different color for a naginata. (It would be so perfect) Or maybe a new kabuto crest even.
  18. Wow, that king figure is amazing. I've wanted a crown like that for years and years... and years. The new cape is just icing on the cake. The Egyptian Warrior looks good. I can't tell from that picture, but I hope that his khopesh is metallic silver, just for variety's sake. No images of the three most anticipated minifigures for me yet: Goblin, Samurai and Fencer. I'm really hoping that the samurai figure is actually a miko/shrine maiden, not just an evil samurai. It would be a very unique and interesting figure IMO. But perhaps too religious... That didn't stop TLG from making a Battle Goddess though. A figure just called "female samurai" with miko-like clothes would work too. Hell, it happens in anime and manga all the time. (Never have understood why)
  19. That... is blatantly fake.

    Bionicle 2015 Discussion

Wow, only slightly taller than a Toa Metru huh? Very interesting. I wasn't expecting the midsized Toa to be so short. I've never bought any Hero Factory sets, so I don't even have the basic parts to create any sort of mock up. Thanks.

    Bionicle 2015 Discussion

I was going to respond to Aanchir's post, but I will respect the forum rules of putting on horse blinders and ignoring a discussion's natural progression. ... There, they are on now. So while watching that review, when Lewa was compared to his Toa Nuva counterpart, I noticed that he was not as tall as I thought he would be. How tall are these sets? I assume Tahu and Kopaka are a bit taller than Pohatu, Gali and Lewa but are they taller than a Toa Inika?

    Bionicle 2015 Discussion

Ah, I was wondering were all of those memes came from. I've never watched the channel before. I'm mostly reserving judgement until I see them up close in reviews like this, but from all the images I've seen, I'd say that I like Kopaka's mask the best.

    Bionicle 2015 Discussion

Thanks for the review! I ain't going to beat you up over a few gears in the wrong place, or using some pieces in the wrong shade of grey. I swear, the Lego fanbase has some of the most anal-retentive people in the world. Anyway, I still don't care for the bright green + yellow color scheme. Also, all the horizontal ridges that go up the Miru's forehead area kinda look like wrinkles to me... IMO, Lewa was nearly beaten to death with the ugly stick.
  24. Oh, there are images to go with this list? Interesting. Any chance you could link to them?
  25. My knee-jerk reaction to Hobo and Bartender is "This list has to be fake." But when I think about it, I don't recall ever seeing a fake CMF series list... Hmm... The Hobo could be the stereotypical vagabond/tramp type character with the little bag tied to a stick. And as for Bartender, we already got Moe, and the bartender from TLM. And the first thing I thought of when I read "Army Man" is the little green guys like in Toy Story. No problem there. However, the Confederate Officer is the figure that really sounds off to me. What in the world do you put in his bio? And that fact that all but two of the minifigures are totally town related is very suspicious. If this list is real then I'd be quite disappointed personally... After Series 13 it's another godforsaken Simpson's series isn't it? Nothing against the show, (Although I do find the new episodes to be as interesting and funny as a jar of gravel) I just have zero interest in the figures.
