  1. But also the fact that it has no turntable. I guess to produce a complicated pattern extremely different ratios must be needed as with the spirograph the pattern of the arms in relation to the board of PGs finishes quite quickly
  2. Glad to help:) Great finished product, you'll be making spirographs in no time!

I reckon I'll be making a poor man's version out of my own parts then

    [WIP] Bowler Defender

I feel like it really needs to have the sides recessed by a stud to get that continuous line throughout the body

    [GBC] The Akiyuki Project

As good as this would be I highly doubt it would happen due to the amount of tweakin these modules have to have to get to work. They would have to be refined to the point where they can work out of the box

    [WIP] Bowler Defender

Looking at it again the layer under the bonnet shouldn't be there. If you recess the whole top by a stud it might look better because currently it looks too tall:)

    [WIP] Bowler Defender

I'd go two:) What may be off about the front is how close the bonnet is to the front grill, maybe setting it back 1 stud would give it more of the curved look. It depends on what model you are after though. Even adding a curve/slope there would achieve that. Like in mine
  9. This is definitely your best yet! That front is gorgeous, the curves are amazing. This will definitely motivate myself to finish my own car
  10. After seeing PG5200's spirographs a couple of years ago and being completely blown away I knew I had to make my own. It was not until some months ago where I realised how it worked and set about making my own. Mine has 6 speed gearboxes on each arm to increase the variations in patterns. Whilst the exterior looks similar internally mine is very different. You could say that it is 'upside down' compared to Pg's as his outputs for the gearboxes are where my inputs are if that makes sense. I did two videos for it, one describing the functions and the other with it looking cool! As seen in the video I have made various attachments for it, one to turn it into A5 size, and the other to create significantly different patterns. Thanks for watching!

    Odd Technic Questions

The Porshe is going to be fun to mirror when it comes out so the steering wheel is on the right side!

Next year's Brickvention circuit will be pretty crazy if we have Aron's, Steve's, Lisa's and your ball factory! That makes a solid four;p

    Unimog wheel caps

Hey there blitz, these wheel covers are sprockets designed for tracked vehicles. You can pick some up here: https://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=57519&idColor=11#T=C&C=11

Yeah there are certain places that could have been done better but it does look like they modelled the front fairly accurately.

With all these advancements in the gear selector mechanism it makes me doubt that this is rc. But then again you never know

    42056 - Porsche Speculation

Just having a stab in the dark here, but do you think it is possible that there is like a 'brain' to this car similar to the rc unit but with motors built in? Just a thought as it looks like the steering is routed through to the back and that would explain the stiffened suspension in the rear

Not sure if it's been mentioned but check out those rims, it doesn't look perfect but the hubs look as though they are sitting much further in. Making the steering pivot a lot better! I shall have to start saving

    [MOC] Spirograph

What an awesome weekend! I displayed the spirograph at the annual Brickvention in Melbourne, Australia. It completed over 200 prints for the kids (and adults) to take home. Someone though gave me a new idea for an attachment and I whipped it up this morning. What I have done is added another turntable (to the boards one) that is offset and rotates independently. This causes the boards central point to continuously change. It is now capable of some much more complicated drawings. Anyway here are some photos:
