Hi to everybody, this is my new Moc, I started building this US Truck about 6 months ago and it was finished to be shown to the MEI 2020, unfortunately, for reasons of force majeure, the MEI is posponed so here we are. It's not based on a specific model, surely Mack from Cars inspired me a lot, and I took some inspirations by pics on the web. I chose to build less sophisticated suspensions, pendular on all axles, to allow a more robust frame (due to a very long wheelbase) and a more robust drivline, it doesn't have U-Joints (still some parts could be damnaged). As almost all my others Moc it's driven by 4 XL PF Motors and steered by a L PF Motors, more precise at low speed. It has 2 M PF Motors to operate the two speed gearbox and the fifth wheel. It has openable hood, behind which there is a detailed Inline-six engine with belt driven alternator and clima compressor. It has openable doors with detailed interiors such amortized seats, bed and various storage compartments. The truck is powered by 2 Buwizz but it's possible to use 2 Li-Po Battery and 2 SBrick. The trailer is designed to fit a Porsche 911RSR, original set N° 49096. It has working legs and rear access ramp powered by a Control+ Hub and 2 XL C+ Motors. I chose to use it because I have one on the shelf and because it's compatible with the BuWizz app, so I can control everything using only a smartphone. The trailer has detailed interiors, the car compartments and the meeting7telemetry room. Moreover I built a tool trolley. Hi guys and gals, first post here, been following the forum for about 3 years now. Got bitten by the Technic bug with 42046 and here I am today. Recently bought a 42106 for cheap in Bulgaria and after building 42070 earlier the sloped panels got me thinking - there is a truck hood in this. Sooooo, let's make a truck C-model out of 42106! Full size pictures are located here:https://imgur.com/a/wOlijkp The aim of the C model is to be able to tow trailers like the MACK Anthem's one. M Longer inspired me by his 42075 terminal truck. We'll see if I manage to implement it somehow. The chassis is the same from 42106's pickup truck, then reversed a bit. Track has been widened by 2 studs, fenders made wider as well. The rear has dual tires which for the contest will be swapped with a single one just as the front axle. Currently they are a placeholder and proportions tool... I've seen how long the rules topic is so I had to put this text here... Initially it began as the chassis above, trying to figure where to stick the cab: Then after I figured out its placement came time to adjust where the doors would be. Which happen to be the ramps from the trailer. After some further shaping of the fenders and color swaps until it felt right - I got this below. The blue pins protrude for now as everything was just in sketch phase. Makes it easier to disassemble... Final shot of this for now is this: Further will come soon. My dear fellow Eurobricks people, finally, again after a too long while, I managed to prepare something edible (I hope ) out of the finest ABS we all love so much. Let me introduce you my take on Kenworth W900... I’m a bit ashamed to admit, that this MOC was finished already in early 2018 and it took me until now, to prepare the photos and a video of it. This was built for our LUG’s 20th exhibition KockeFest, that took place in March 2018. It was the time when LEGO Technic Mack Anthem came out, so the theme of Technic section of the exhibition was, naturally, "container trucks and container handling machinery" in same scale as the Mack. We agreed on slightly longer containers, because, let’s be honest, the one on the Mack is a bit too short… so here it is… This whole eighteen-wheeler is some 108 studs long (87 cm) and 16 studs wide (13 cm), well the wheels might be getting close to 17 studs. The truck alone is about 50 studs (40 cm) long. The size of the containers, we agreed upon, was 15 x 15 x 37 studs (+1 for the door handles so 38 actually) and they represented 20 ft containers. As you can see from the photos, my semi-trailer could carry 2 of them. I used 1 PF L motor for propulsion and PF servo for steering. Another PF L motor was used for remote fifth wheel lock. It could be powered both with standard PF receivers and LEGO AAA battery boxes or with Buwizz. It was all hidden in the cabin’s sleeper. There was another AAA battery box on the trailer to power PF M motor for the trailer supports. Front axle is not suspended, but uses virtual pivot steering instead. It was the only way to make so tight mudguards above them and although steering angle is not the best, I think it did the job fine enough. Due to the bulky setup of servo and virtual pivot steering, I was a bit lazy under the hood, so there is nothing else there. I guess I could mock up some engine, but the way the hood was attached (it can’t be opened), it felt a bit pointless. There is some unrealistic pendular suspension on both rear axles, but I couldn’t do more on such a thin chassis. I used rubber connectors as dampers. Because the chassis is so slim, it slightly twists when throttle is applied. Here’s how this lady looks topless and below the skirt… There are some minor details in and on the the cabin, the sleeper was, as already mentioned, filled with electronics. Since this is a semi, it needs a fifth wheel, of course. It is remotely locked and I totally took the cream off of the brilliant 6x6 Truck with Tipper Semi Trailer by Pipasseyoyo, with great ratchet design for the lock. Ratchet for the fifth wheel lock below the sleeper… Fifth wheel + hitch/tow ball (I hope that’s what it’s called)... The trailer was built with Technic bricks - studs down and was sturdy enough for the two containers. It had its own receiver and battery box to operate the supports. The two tandem axles were damped with rubber connectors and adapted to the ground really well. Please forgive me for not filming the movement of the two . I hope the photos will suffice. This trailer has got four main features: 1. automatic steering axle - This is one of the best feature in this trailer. It works fully mechanically and thanks to that the turning radius is quite small. 2. adjustable collector (PF M motor) 3. extendable slide (PF M motor) 4. tracks propulsion (PF L motor located in the tractor) The collectors reliability isn't 100% but I think it can collect paper pieces well. Inspired by Holgi's MOC my friend rr76 and I built a 1:17 scale trailer (Arocs) for overseas containers. There are mountings for one 40', two 20' containers or one 20' bulk container in the middle of the trailer. Furthermore, the left box is free as a tool box. The rebrickable version is controlled with a Buwizz, because the Powered Up cables are too short, this is not feasible in the conventional way. RC functions: - Raising and lowering the supports - Raising and lowering the lift axle - parking brake - rear light My red one is a conversion to a battery box and Sbrick, i only need a housing in DBG. The grey prototype was build with PU, becaus the cables are to short and the PU-M motor is to expensive i used PU-PF adapters. The lights are custom LED with the Lego PU LED cable. Currently there is a 40' container and the prototype of a bulk container, we're still working on a 20' container. Dear all, I show you my latest alternative model: Scania truck and steering trailer. The truck is a Scania Next Generation in 1:21 scale. It features: - HOG steering - opening doors - tilting cab - fake V8 engine - adjusting rear height It is in the same scale as my Volvo FH truck The trailer is a flatbed trailer with 2 steering axles. It's been some time since I provided an update on models from my Turbo Racers vs. Police Interceptors series here, most (22 cars + variations and a "dyno") are on Rebrickable now: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/?tag=10127&include_accessory=on&include_bmodel=on&include_subset=on Because the models I want to present today are not strictly racing, I thought about starting a new thread for them: TG Power wrecker This is a wrecker truck based on a modified body of the F A H R T-Laster with the following functionality: Selectable AWD/RWD (propelled by RC Buggy motor (Chinese replica installed ATM), steering by PF Servo motor, power and control by a BuWizz 2.0) manual front winch manual rear boom (closely based on the one from the 42079 B model but with manual double winch) rear PTO (motorized by PF M motor) rear towing hitch Colors are not final yet, e.g. the currently red boom mechanis will become LBG. This wrecker is pretty fast. I experimented with the new diffs to make it stronger instead, but I couldn't avoid gear slipping with a 12z bevel gear against the 28z bevel gear of the rear diff when driving it perpendicular. The propulsion motor then sat half a stud higher but was still only kept in place by pins and could be pushed up over time. Do others perhaps experience gear slipping with the new diff when driving it with a 12z bevel gear in perpendicular fashion? Can this work reliably at all? This video shows an application for the PTO, i.e. driving a small car lift: Car transport trailer This features: double winch at the front for pulling cars onto the platform (can be driven manually or from a PTO) tiltable platform (using two small LAs, manually driven) extendible ramps Except for the coloring I consider it pretty final. It's Uwe's creation. The way the functions are incorporated in the main truck is amazing! HOG steering behind cabin, another HOG for cabin tilting linked with overhead deck lifting. And the B model is bloody hell gorgeous. It got me saying OMG I HAVE TO HAVE THIS upon seeing A-model functions: - Truck V6 - Truck Cabin tiliting linked with cabin overhead deck lifting to reveal V6 - Truck HOG steering behind the cabin - Truck lowering second deck - Truck elastic return-to-defaulr car locking cranks that go through rubber 2-stud liftarms on the passenger side - Truck opening doors - Trailer lowering rear ramps - Trailer lowering overhead deck - Trailer lowering front ramps so that car can drive on truck's lowered second deck. - Car HOG steering in the back - Car V8 Car doesn't have opening doors. The trailer doesn't have standing legs. Truck uses 6 Mack wheels. Trailer uses 4 wheels from 8109. Car uses 4 wheels from Corvette. UW logo on the truck's front grille. B model consists of: - 1 big truck with flatbed, using 4 Mack wheels - 1 trailer using 2 Mack wheels - 1 show car using 4 Corvette wheels. This car has a Funny Car (42050 Drag Racer) vibe. It has exposed front V6 and a supercharger on top. - 1 show truck using 4 wheels from 8109. It looks like a boxy fire truck. The rear compartment can be open upward to reveal a V8. The flatbed truck houses the show car, while the trailer houses the show truck. The colors are swapped. The show car is completely in red and uses the red small wheel arches from the truck in the A model. Meanwhile, the flatbed truck is in dark azure, LBG, and DBG, and uses all the dark azure of the sport car in the A model. B-model functions as visible: - Big Truck lowering flatbed - Big Truck HOV - Show Car V6 - Show Truck HOG - Show Truck opening rear deck (like 42070 B) - Show Truck V8 - Trailer standing legs - Trailer lowering flatbed. Parts in new color: - 5x11 tapered panel in RED - Corvette wheel arch in RED and DARK AZURE (42070 color) Rare parts: - 2x11x3 Steering Knuckle Arm (33299) in RED - 3x7 shell in RED (first appearance in 42082) - 2x5 panels in DARK AZURE (appears in 42083 and 42095) - 3x11 shell in DARK AZURE (appears in 42083 and 42077) - 5x7 panels in LBG (first and only appearance in 7160 Bionicle Drop Ship) I spot two gear racks in red holders. -
Hello, It is my own Hybrid Truck creation, which is called hybrid because it combines standard LEGO elements with a DUPLO car base. It is built from my kids' sets, and I tried to combine these elements just for fun, but I was very satisfied with the result. It is a studless, conventional cab tractor with a car trailer for Speed Champions size cars, but other type of trailers could be used too. It can be combined with my other MOC "Hypercar concept 1". It's finally to the stage where I have something to show off! While the teaser here is entirely CG, the film itself will be mostly stop-motion, with effects shots and scenes of the ship rendered in Blender. -
Hi everyone, This is a new project I am/was working on. I build an trailer capable to load high objects. For now it’s finished but I am not that pleased with the looks. In Dutch it’s called a “Binnenlader” as far as I know in English it “Innerloader”. It’s used to transport high objects like prefabbed walls. Some transporters use this kind of trailer to have 2 loading floors (Double Deck Trailers). The bottom of the trailer is very low to the ground. The trailer can be loaded by crane but it is also possible to load a carrier that can be load- and unloaded by the trailer. The carrier can be separated from the trailer. This is done by lowering the trailer, open the tailgate, and drive forward leaving the carrier standing. by My model automatically opens and closes the back door when the trailer is moving down or upwards. Don’t think is done with a real trailer but I wanted to make it remote controlled with as less motors possible. I was able to only use 1 motor. It's been a while, but the year finished before I got time to post, so here it is! This a NASCAR hauler for the NASCAR Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro. (or two) This thing is super heavy. It has one motor for the ramp and one motor for the landing gear. It feature an office/lounge, cabinets, and work benches. We are going to ignore the miss match colors inside, had no budget to match. Hello, I’m excited to share my new MOC, the "Flame Tourer" — a black concert truck adorned with brick-built flames - inspired by my childhood favorite, a similarly decorated ’57 Chevy Matchbox car. It’s now submitted to the Bricklink Designer Program (BDP) Series 8: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-8/2924/Flame-Tourer It pairs perfectly with Speed Champions cars and it is great for LEGO City too – just add a crowd and start the show! It includes many details like a front bumper with integrated lights and a registration plate, sleek modern headlights with turn signals, and a distinctive grill featuring a custom logo and frame. Stickers are not used to keep the flexibility of the parts in further builds. I tried to fill every unnecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The set includes 4 minifigures and offers plenty of playability. Both the truck and trailer feature removable roof assemblies, revealing highly detailed interiors. The truck cabin includes a driver’s seat with steering wheel, detailed dashboard, gear shift, passenger seat, and a sleeper area with a lamp. The trailer contains a cozy living space with a sofa, bunk bed, mini kitchen, and a functional bathroom (toilet and shower). It also includes the most elements of a mobile stage and musical instruments. The remaining stage components are stored in the trailer's left-side lower storage compartment, which features a practical accordion-style folding door for easy access. The trailer's rear door can double as a stage backdrop, see picture 9. All doors in the set are fully functional, enhancing the play experience - and of course you can assemble the stage and let the show begin! I hope you enjoy this set. What started out as what to do with 2 chrome fuel tanks has morphed into a monster. Also wanted to design and build a cabover truck so this is what I ended up with. Already have 75% of cab and trailer parts at home. Will get the rest plus forklift parts from Bricklink. Forklift can slide fork hoist back and forward as per prototype. Turning the air cleaner also steers the back wheel.

It's time to show something agricultural. This time it will be a rather unusual JCB Fastrac 3185 tractor and an Oehler ZDK 180 trailer. The tractor model has been on my shelf for almost two years, so it's time to show it. For comparison, a photo of the original: JCB Fastrac 3185 I must admit that the Fastrac series are some of my favorite tractors. I remember being fascinated by them in agricultural newspapers as a child. What impressed me the most was the fact that they could accelerate up to 80 km/h. These tractors are loved or hated mainly because of their appearance. The 3185 is definitely my favorite. I started building it when it was already known that agricultural tires with a diameter of 81 mm would appear with the 42129 set. The frame was built quite quickly and is significantly different from my previous tractors. I removed the front three point hitch and added a front pendular suspension. The tractor is powered by an L-motor, turns using a servo-motor, and the lift and PTO operate two M-motors. Everything controlled by Sbrick. Then I started building the cabin, which has a rather specific shape. I managed to reproduce it quite well and I am fully satisfied with it. The cabin, of course, has an equipped interior with two seats. The biggest problem I had was with the design of the tractor's hood. It has a specific arch at the front with gille and thin frames on the sides. First, I made it with a sticker, but during one of the exhibitions I came up with the idea to use rounded 1x2 plates. It was a good decision. From the beginning, I didn't plan on making a building manual for it due to the complicated shape of the cabin. I finally changed my mind. This required further corrections, but they were implemented quite efficiently. My reluctance to follow the instructions was also caused by the printed fenders that @SaperPL made for me. Not wanting to cause problems for people who would buy the instructions, I built equivalents from Lego, which increased the number of elements by 130 bricks. The final effect, especially after using the stickers, is great and I must admit that it's probably my favorite tractor now :D OEHLER ZDK 180 Such a long delay in the publication of Fastrac was also caused by the lack of a machine to complete the set. I wanted to build a construction trailer, but I decided that it would be quite similar to my previous Krampe BigBody 550. I did not have traditional trailers in my collection. I kept thinking about an unusual color that would contrast nicely with the yellow tractor. I chose OEHLER ZDK 180. I decided to build the box with 23405 panels, which imitate the sides of the dump box well. Surprisingly, the dimensions of these elements matched the dimensions of the model quite well. The dump box had to be reinforced, of course, otherwise the load would burst it from the inside. I used additional strips so that it is now very stable. The visual effect well reflects the appearance of a real trailer. The dark turquise color is slightly different from the one used in Oehler trailers, and in the photos it looks much bluer than in reality. The dump box also has a side locking mechanism that works like in a real machine. The difference is double-side tipping.The real trailer box tilts in three directions. At the beginning of the construction process it also tilted backwards, but the use of a medium linear actuator made the whole thing very unstable. Finally, the box is lifted by two small linear actuators powered by the M-motor. The maximum load I tested was 4.5 kg. I must admit that this is quite an impressive result. Another interesting fact is that I used 67.8x27 tires, which are a bit larger than they should be, but because they are wider than the 62.4 mm tires, they significantly improve the overall appearance of the model. Hi After bricking bavaria 2022 I could finish my trailer with remote controlled sliding curtains, landing legs and parking brake. the mechanism of the sliding curtains works with one PU L motor for each side and two winches at the front and rear of the trailer. Over the winches a cable runs trough the floor of the trailer which pulls the sliding curtains.
