Very good work! I love the color, the look of the boiler and smokebox----everything. Keep up the good work.

That's a cute little vignet you made. It would look better with a small rowboat, but then again, I'm just picky. Keep up the good work!

Now this makes two movies I'm hyped up for in 2014. First, the new Thomas the Tank Engine Film (so far titled "The WWII Movie") and now this. I'm excited!

Sir E Fullner replied to greg3's topic in LEGO Town
An MOC and a Science Fair exhibit in one. Good work! -
You never fail to disappoint. I feel that each of your locomotives has a certain feeling of grit and grime of many years of work, and this one is no different. Keep up the good work!

What's Your Favorite Train Documentary and/or TV Program?
Sir E Fullner replied to Hey Joe's topic in LEGO Train Tech
When I was a lad, I enjoyed watching Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends on television. I still like to see classic episodes, but the newer episodes of the series...they're getting better, but before them, the shows were pure sh-I mean Mega Blocks. -
Hello. Since this is my first topic as a Eurobricks Knight, I decided to do a set review. What set, though? 79106 Cavalry Builder Set Theme: The Lone Ranger Pieces: 69 Minifigs: 4 Price: $12.99US Year: 2013 First off, let's look at the box. On the front we have a scene of the soldiers fighting the Lone Ranger. On the back, we see all the features. Plus, we see the Lone Ranger stealing some turkey. Jerk. Opening the box, we get two polybags, a folded instruction booklet, and Silver, the Lone Ranger's horse. Random page from instructions: The *blurry* assorted pieces: We get lots of brown in this set, plus some new weapons, as you will see below. Parts of Interest Here are the two new revolvers included in this set, compared with an older one. I have to say, the newer ones look much more realistic, and the older one looks more like a kid's toy. Wait a second... Here we see Silver alongside an older horse. Unlike an older horse, the newer horses are able to be positioned, and are more realistic. Hats: new meets old. Even if you're nostalgic for the older hats, you can agree that the newer hat is more realistic. The Minifigs Here is the star of the set, John Reid. Also known as the "Lone Ranger." He wears a long black jacket, waistcoat, star badge, black mask and red neckerchief; he carries two silver-colored revolvers. The back of the Lone Ranger's jacket is slightly wrinkled and has two buttons. Up next are the three new Union Soldiers, or "Navarro Riflemen" according to Brickipedia. They all have the same torsos, legs, and hats; but they have different faces. Number 1 has the generic smug face, Number 2 is Indiana Jones, and Number 3's face is new. His very expression says, "Don't fudge with me!" Number 1 and 2 wear back packs and carry rifles, and appear to be regular joes, but Number 3 has a shoulder bag, dark revolver, and spyglass, and looks more like their NCO (Non-Commissioned Officer). Back printing for the Navarro Riflemen has gold designs and black creases, with a belt and ammunition pouch in the back. The build: The first part of the build is a small campfire. On top of the fire is a frying pan and a turkey leg. Apparently, these soldiers get some pretty good grub. The second part is a cannon. The cannon is your typical firing cannon in charcoal metallic, with a swab attached on the side. The ammo is neatly stacked on a tan 2x2 plate. The final part of the build is the barricade. The barricade is hinged and has the Navarro Riflemen's regiment colors positioned on the side. The back is pretty plain, but there is room for the riflemen to stand or take cover and fire. It's also a great place to position the cannon. Well, that's the whole set. And now for the final scores. Design: 7/10 Build: 7/10 Playability: 8/10 Minifigures: 10/10 Price: 9/10 Overall: 8.2/10 Conclusion: This set is a nice little addition to the up-and-coming Lone Ranger theme. One can collect a whole bunch of these sets and create a large army, not to mention a good collection of masked men. American Civil War buffs would like the new Union torsos, and it's a great way to add to your Wild West collection. I hope that you have enjoyed this review; if you want to see more reviews from me, don't expect much. I have a limited amount of money, and can't buy LEGO sets every few days, only once or twice a year. Please rate and comment! Hi-Ho Silver! Awa-ay! Always entertaining, always inspiring, always:

Well, I hope you get all of your prized ideas into that layout, and I bet it will just look swell. Wait a second...I had 499 posts...Whoopee! I'm a Knight!

Hello again. Recently, since school is out, I have been working on some projects I have had in mind. This project was inspired by a photograph of an unfinished LEGO theme called "Europa." I figured that I might be able to craft a little something like it. So, with a little ingenuity, imagination, and integrity, I crafted a little village with rough copies of the featured models in the image. And so, without further ado, here is: Europa In this design, I made two village buildings, a fort, and an army. Below are some closer looks. The village buildings: The village tavern: Inside: The village bakery: Inside: The highwaymen, ready to rob innocent travelers: And now for the men who protect this village, the local militia and their fort: The Grenadiers: The Musketiers: The Light Cavalry: I hope you enjoyed looking, more images are available at the link to my Brickshelf, located below in the signature. Please rate and comment! Always entertaining, always inspiring, always:

That sure is one big project you have going on. I'd like to see that in real life. -
She sure looks pretty sweet. Already, it feels like a Jules Verne novel. Keep up the good work!

MOC: Tramore Steam Engine, the 5-Minute Bell
Sir E Fullner replied to Axle's topic in LEGO Train Tech
She is a lovely engine, but a wee bit awkward in the back. However, what do I know? It's probably like that in real life. Will you be making coaches for her? -
Excellent building. I can see why the owner fainted; it was the smell of that "delicious croissant."
-
Great job, man. It looks very snug inside, but I bet that's how your signalmen like it. I can't wait to see the BR engine you're making with it. Keep on brickin'!

[Youtube find] Lego Casino Royale
Sir E Fullner replied to Capt. Redblade's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Nice film. I have to say, why did Bond have to drown the bad guy in a sink of 1x1 tiles? That is just barbaric! Water can't kill you, oh, but 1x1 tiles? Those are the coup de grace of drowning. -
Hello, it's me. Obviously. Anyways, let's cut to the chase. As a small iota of you know, I do most of my LEGO animations with LEGO Digital Designer, mostly because I don't own a webcam and don't have the money to get one. With LDD, one can make minifigs of any type for the film. However, there are a few drawbacks. Mostly illegal brick movements. However, somehow I manage to make films, however good of quality they are. And here is my newest creation. This is a music video set to some classical music, like Walt Disney's Fantasia. And so, how about a Deems Taylor introduction? Romantic classical composer Gabriel Faure made a number of pieces in his lifetime. One of which was set to a specific dance, called the Sicillienne. Instead of a dance for this segment, the director decided to put it to a stroll through the Italian Riviera. An English squire and his lover are taking a stroll, and on the way they meet some vineyard workers, a fisherman, a pesky seagull, and a crab who looks like he's related to Skalldyr. Here is: "Sicillienne." I hope that you enjoy it! Please leave any questions or comments you have, and I'll see you later. Always entertaining, always inspiring, always:
