  3. Har har har har har Great comic! My favorite part is the one with the guns.
  4. It's a very good photograph, I have to grant you at that. However, you might find it at the bottom of the ocean after the contest.
  5. Good start. But, will it hold up to the great Redcoat army?
  6. Great review! I have to say, I wonder why LEGO doesn't use the alternate models anymore. It sure is a pity, especially with those new city sets.
  7. Aye, that I did. How many people do you know that can find rhymes to "jive the jib" and "seen above?"
  8. Yes. A picture to put over your dead carcasses to let everyone know who won the day.
  9. It sure feels good to have myself in a picture for TORIII. I thought I would be left out. They even have me long-brimmed hat and dark-brown scabbard and pistols. By the way, dr_spock, if you're reading this, I didn't mean to point the gun behind your head.
  10. Thanks for the compliment, but evidently you don't have a sense of smell. Why do you think we Redcoats are able to detect you from miles away? Some of the lines of text are too long to put in one single size. I'm not a magician, no matter how awesome the song says I am. Plus, I don't know any websites or programs to make a more comic-like comic.
  11. Firstly, the text is modified real text from what C.S. Gilbert wrote for the original musical. It does go with the actual music. Why opera? Well, I was watching Pirates of Penzance and this idea came to my head, and I thought it was a bold move for the next round. Tell you what, I will give a YouTube link to the original melody later to-day.
  12. [pid][/pid] Hello, all. Here is my entry for Round II of the Tournament of Retribution. I wanted to get this posted as soon as possible, because I have lots of work to do with speech tournaments and some very big tests coming up. Since these keep me busy until about March, I got started right away and edited these pictures last night. I decided to re-make one of my favorite scenes in Gilbert and Sullivan's opera, the Pirates of Penzance, with the Major-General's song. I worked on the words and rhythm, and used some very good pictures for some of the words of the song. I shall now present to you all, "The Redcoat Officer's Song" from the Pirates of Redbeard. In this scene, Redbeard's pirates are about to kidnap the Redcoat officer's sisters so they can marry them. When one of the sisters mentions that "brother is a Redcoat officer," Redcoat Officer Efullner shows up and sings his song to the pirates. EDIT: Here is the link to the original music on YouTube: Note: As it states in the rules, the comic must have the pirates playing a major part. In case you don't know, in the original Pirates opera, the pirates were the main characters. In this case, if the pirates didn't show up to kidnap the Officer's sisters, there would be no comic, so that is the importance of the pirates in this little comic, thank you. I hope that you have enjoyed this little comic I have whipped up. Please leave your comments below. Always entertaining, always inspiring, always:
  13. Very good work, indeed. I really like the racial diversity of the redcoats in the boat, and the way you made that flag tip at an angle.
  14. I just hope that if there is going to be a re-vamp of pirates, that there will be some kick-butt soldiers included. The two with the London Escape were good, but two soldiers are NEVER enough.
  15. Hmm...red ice cream. I just hope it's not cinnamon. However, if it is cinnamon, we could foist some of it onto the bluecoats and have them burn their throats out. Great comic, by the way.
  16. I once had a bluecoat as a pet. However, one bluecoat can't cause as much mess as a whole group of those stooges. By the way, great comic, even if your English was a little off.
  17. It's a very good comic, I think. However, I'm pretty sure that if Mr. Redcoat had a chance to "pants" Mr. Bluecoat, Ms. Islander would find a much smaller willy under those trousers.
  18. I guess this means King Crab will have a Virgin Bluecoat-colada as a sacrifice! Really good comic, by the way.
  19. Somehow I am thinking of Franz Kafka while looking at this. Maybe this will explain it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metamorphosis_(novel) I always knew that bluecoats should keep to blue and redcoats to the greatest color of all. You look a bit like an old lobster wrapped in map paper. Plus, you're not fooling anyone with your Redcoat accent. I mean, I could do a perfect bluecoat accent without slicing a vocal chord. However, you cannot even keep your thoughts in your mind. Hmm...
  20. I think you forgot a few things that the blues copied from the reds. For instance, your shakos are an original redcoat design. Plus, our redcoat Admiral has a better sense of fashion than that grubby old governor of yours.
  21. Even though it's your first comic, it's pretty good. Although, I believe you forgot the bit where you cut off the reproductive organs on the blues...oh wait, there's nothing to cut off there. Oh well, it's great!
  22. I've often wondered why it's so easy to kill the blues. They never used a musket properly. Plus, this proves that the blues are terrible cooks. It must be that cheap oil they use on their swords.
  23. Ingenious! I wish I had thought of doing something like this. However, it sure is great to see that bum of an Admiral getting his.
  24. I finished updating the pictures. Whadaya know? It didn't take me so long after all.
  25. Why do you have to be such a troll? It's those words which make baby pirates cry. I will try to print off those two decals and re-make the photographs. However, I cannot guarantee that I will finish the new photographs in a snap and a jump, even though I am a fabulous Redcoat.
