  1. I stand in awe, as usual. The ground floor exterior is my favourite part. The 'innards' are also great, as is to be expected from you. Perhaps a bit more variation in the upper floor exteriors? I understand you already struggled with the window asymmetry, as I would have! Keep clicking those bricks together!
  2. Yes, that does look weird, on both floors! And, even without wanting to sacrificing a row of studs, they could have at least added a wall on the fourth stud of the stairs itself, without any floor space being lost... I love the design of this set, and will definitely buy it. I still have to get to grips with the colour combinations though, as do other people here. The atmosphere's a bit different than the other modulars. I've seen the "comic book" remark a few times. Sounds about right.
  3. Hey Captain! Nice job! I've always loved the combination of reddish brown and dark brown. Also, the dark blue roof looks great. The pics are a bit distorted, colour-wise. Is the right house tan, or (bright) light yellow? Keep clicking those bricks together!
  4. Nope, no plastic here, either, when we bought this. I do vaguely remember, though, that the box was unopenable without damaging it. So one would always see that it had been opened.
  5. I don't know how it is in your country, but all five times I ordered from Amazon, they stated "up to 30 days", and all were delivered within 10 days to The Netherlands.
  6. There's a very simple (11 parts) mower here (see the youtube link on the page for instructions): http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/321296
  7. Now that's a very nice building design! I love both the exterior and the very detailed interior. Keep clicking those bricks together!
  8. Yes, that would fit right in with the rest. I like that one! Besides, it gives me an excuse to order something, again And that's another great excuse; must remember that one!
  9. Yup, we were offered this gift in the NEtherlands today as well. Nice!
  10. Got my two updates this morning on start-up; no problems so far. Thanks, Superkalle, for the lxf!
  11. Nice one! Love the facade and the interior, and the "Ikea" atm Straight from the money machine to the heavy machinery. Convenient! Looking forward to the pizza take away as well. Keep clicking those bricks together.
  12. Nice job on the review, thanks! We had no doubts about whether to buy this set or not. We built it a while ago. It's absolutely great. We still can't get over the transparent orange parts in stead of transparent red in the red mixer arm, though. We plan to replace the orange parts with red. And that's saying a lot, coming form a purist!
  13. Great work, once again! I especially love the facade on the bike shop and all the ground floor interiors, and the alley really works well with these buildings. Keep clicking those bricks together!
  14. Category A: #8 #7 #2 Category B: #6 #9 #4
  15. Nice action scene! Don't know about the topless ladies, though
  16. Well, the snowy trees must have cost you a fortune, but I definitely like this MOC. Keep clicking those bricks together!
  17. Yep, I'm with the rest of them. Brilliant creation. My hat's off to your creativity, perseverance and patience.
  18. Yes, most of them are pretty straightforward. We did a few of them, and had very little problems. A tip might be to just create a wanted list in BL using the set number, thus letting BL add the parts to the wanted list. With the Show all option of the wanted list, you can check the different parts availabilites, and spot any bottle necks. Best of luck; it's a fun project! PS We paid substantially less for the sets than when we had bought them on eBay or the likes. We always buy new parts only, and from Dutch sellers only.
  19. Hey Gongoro73, Welcome; you will find a lot of peers here. The Town forum is very active. Bricklinking the first three modulars is a challenge (I did it as well, because I missed allt hree of them, like you), but it's doable. Definitely worth the effort. Hope to see some of your MOCs in the future! Keep clicking those bricks together!
  20. Have you looked at Lego set 3177 (small car)? It consists of very little parts (less than 40 pieces for the car alone without the minifig), and it can be built in many variations and colour combinations with very little effort. We built dozens of these for a project of ours. Parts list, instructions, bricklink wanted lists and so on can easily be found on the web. http://brickset.com/...177-1/Small-Car Bugger; I just noticed dr_spock beat me to it I saw your picture, but did not recognise it as 3177. I guess GMTA! Great vignette, by the way!
  21. How did I miss this? Great build, superfunk! The shop and the equipment are brilliantly done. Love the recycling station with electricity unit as well. Keep clicking those bricks together!
  22. Thanks for putting in the time and effort! Great review and pics. I love this set; definitely will be added to our winter village this year.
  23. Well, I'm too much of a Lego purist to accept custom made pieces, but that surely is a brilliant idea. I agree with most of the previous comments: Why on earth does this part not exist? And I definitely second that!
  24. Well done, everyone; great entries.
