  1. I already started typing, but this comment by Faefrost pretty much sums it up for me. These parts definitely have a use.
  2. If that's not a scam, I wouldn't think twice. I mean, seven mint condition modulars, including Green Grocer? For 950 euros?
  3. I love it! A great design without any unnecessary 'fringes'. And if I look at the picture with the truck, I think the scale is just about right. Keep putting those bricks together!
  4. I second that! And that! Classic smileys ftw! PS I loved PR. Smaller, larger, more parts, less parts, it's all fine by me. I just loved the design and the looks of it, and it was a great build.
  5. Love this design. Great colour combinations and use of parts. Short pumps? Let's consider that poetic license. Keep putting those bricks together!
  6. Very nice! Fits the Micropolis atmosphere perfectly. I've only just recently started looking into Micropolis, as a side project (I normally just do modulars); this one's definitely inspiring.
  7. Great stuff; love the facade and the colour scheme. Absolutely adore the ground floor interior. Keep clicking those bricks together!
  8. Looks like they've been taken offline. Maybe you can send a Direct Message to NPimenta?
  9. That is a really original take on a modular. Especially like the colour scheme and the little path with the fences. I would love to see that as a real build. Keep putting those bricks together!
  10. Noticed that, too. It's not done, is it, really... Great design, Yooha! Love the carts, and a great job of getting it all on the truck. Keep putting those bricks together.
  11. Oh yes, I love this! And (apart from the overhanging tree, which prevents an adjacent house) modular as well! I might have to have a go at reverse engineering this, for my own town (unless an lxf or the likes is provided) Keep putting those bricks together!
  12. PR has just been released, so it will be around for a while, so I'd start with GE, if you do not want to risk missing out. Or just buy both now, if the wallet allows... I bought the one I wanted most first once, which made me have to get the other one by buying bricks at bricklink, or pay 600 Euos for the set at eBay
  13. Always good to see a new MOC from you, Kristel! This will fit in very snugly with all the other MOCs you created. My favourite parts are the ground floor facade and the bar area. Inspired part usage to create the foot rests of the bar! Keep putting those bricks together!
  14. Hey rockethead26, We use both LDD and BlueBrick for that. BlueBtrick for the general lay-out, and LDD for the complete sets. In LDD, one can just import a complete set as LDD and put it anywhere in the current file that is open. We built our complete lay-out like this as one LDD-file, including all street plates. If you're clever and group the separate buildings, you can actually select them per building and move them around. Mind you, a speedy computer is needed, because 10 modulars already consist of around 30,000 bricks. You can find most official sets as LDD-file here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=41226 Just search the page in your browser for the set number. Keep putting those bricks together!
  15. 20. gazumpty - 2 28. Simon_S - 1 38. vecchiasignoraceppo - 1 45. cmaddison - 1 Tough to pick; a lot of nice entries. Best of luck to all!
  16. Absolutely inspired! Love all the little details, the locker room with showers, the cars, the vending machines. And the factory hall with the assembly line, it's just all there. Noticed one yellow minifig though... the crash test dummy! And a great job on capturing the 80s atmosphere. Including the long hair and sideburns Keep putting those bricks together!
  17. Nice one! Great looking front. Look forward to seeing your 'wings', hopefully in real bricks as well! Keep putting those bricks together!
  18. I may have found the seagull. If you look up the turkey's behind very closely, you may notice it has been used as stuffing. PS Why on earth have I been unable to acquire this set by Christmas? It's sheer sadism, that's what it is...
  19. Not to worry, legoaddict, when I said "It's a first", I meant, it's the first time I'm without speech
  20. It would have to be something with a hinge tile with two fingers on top, in combination with a hinge cylinder with one finger. Hinge the cylinder to make it vertical, and then, somehow, connect the street lamp on top of the cylinder. Depends on the type of street lamp you're using. I used it in combination with 42445 (Bar 1x12), and it worked a treat. You can give the bar any angle you want. Well, almost... there's a click system between the tile and the cylinder that limits the number of positions you can fix the bar in.
  21. It's a first, but I am officially without speech. By all means, keep putting those bricks together, 'legoaddict'.
  22. I'd love to build this as well. I remember seeing it about a year ago, and I think it's brilliant. We've bought a number of instructions online, and reverse engineered a few of which there were no instructions available in LDD (just for personal use, of course), all of which was great fun. I coded a "lxf to bricklink wanted list" programme thingy, to auto generate Bricklink XML wanted lists from ldd-files, and together with the instructions generator of LDD (however bad it is), we've managed to build quite a few "Third party MOCs" to expand our town. Recently, I even took up designing one myself from scratch. If ever I get to finish it, I shall publish it here. Keep putting those bricks together, Myko!
