Fantastic inverted corner building, as many have said they are a difficult project to tackle, but you have done it very well!! The front facade and the interior are very good, the interior is simple (aside from the custom stickers) yet very effective. But my favourite part is the back side of the MOC, particularly the kitchen side. So many awesome details there and as others have said, the contrast between one side and and the other side out the back fits perfectly with many many restaurants around the world!! Wonderful modular all in all, happy building

timmyc1983 replied to sin's topic in LEGO Town
Great ideas here and very well squeezed into the GE. You certainly don't have much room to work with there but you have done very on both floors!! Good work and happy building -
Brilliant modular there and original idea! Like most I really like the lettering on the front and the interior really stands out for me, but excellent work all around!! Wonderful MOC and happy building!!

MOC: Monorail Train Station with "Schweineschnaeuzchen"
timmyc1983 replied to Dirk1313's topic in LEGO Train Tech
What a fantastic MOC and the layout in general looks amazing!!! The lights make it all look so cosy... Great use of all the new CMFs too! Congrats on the frontpage and happy building -
You should definitely pick a FB as soon as you can... The prices will only go up despite its long production run. Being someone who missed out on the first 3 modulars (due to my dark age) you don't to be paying huge prices for a set you could have got at a fraction of the price... Same thing with the GE I think....

[MOC] Stark Industries Armory [Iron Man Hall of Armor]
timmyc1983 replied to becauseBATMAN's topic in LEGO Licensed
Holy wow!! I somehow missed this the first time around... This is a super amazing MOC! The painting is absolutely top shelf and the enormity of the armoury is spectacular. Congratulation on a super build and happy building -
Wow, if they ever get the Futurama license I would just be beside myself!! But on topic, this looks like an amazing set and a must buy for me. As a Simpsons fan I cannot let this one go... Now I just need to figure out how to fit it into my town layout....

Afraid not, they are all 'broken' pictures

Yes I know exactly what you mean, but alas I only ordered 1x4s as a replacement of the 1x8s and in the cases where there is no overlap in the bricks it is because no matter which way you arrange the bricks this occurs. If you split the difference with 1x2s and 1x4s this would alleviate this and as you suggest, there would be overlaps at every brick/split.... I hope that all makes sense........? Edit: PaperballPark hit the nail on the head!!

This is a great little scene! I love all of the greenery and the water is really well done too!! Great work and happy building

Looking great, and the interior teasers look exciting too... As always I will continue to watch this space, happy building

Just read through this topic, looks like you're doing a great job!! I did this middle of last year and as many have suggested swapped the sand green 1x8s for 1x4s and thought you may want to see some shots of them in action... You really don't notice the difference structurally or aesthetically unless you're looking for it: I look forward to following your progress, happy brick hunting

This is a really neat little build I like the overall shape of the van and I love the sliding door feature, very clever!! Welcome to EB and happy building

Love your builds and this one's no exception!! Being a lover of the sea I am always quite partial to light houses, and a modular light house right up my alley!! I love the terrain work you have done and the light house MOD itself is done really well too! I can imagine myself as the light house keeper, including the rum and disrepair Will we ever see any shots of your town altogether any time soon....?? Happy building

Damn it!! I Was hoping these sets would be bad so I could save money, but I'm going to have to buy this, I love the Simpsons and this is a great representation of their house. It looks like an interesting build too, I can't wait for high res interior shots.....

Holy wow!! Just wow... This is an amazing diorama, I love all the detail you have put into this especially! The interior of the factory is amazing, I love the production line, really well set out and built, looks exactly as it should! The cars in different states of completion is a really nice detail. And the offices are really well done too, that photocopier is great The whole diorama though is just spectacular! Congratulations and happy building and new year to you too

Fantastic entry and a great idea well executed! I like that you have managed to fit in 3 holes in the small space and each with their own little details!! Good luck and happy building

Lovely stall idea and very well executed, does exactly as it says on the label! I like the snow effect on the roof the best but it's a great MOC! Good luck and happy building
