  1. Excellent house, Captain B, the yellow, white, and light blue color-scheme is really awesome, and that gate is superb as well - probably overall my favorite of your residence builds yet! Looking forward to seeing more of your science character! (Oh, and science isn't frowned upon at all in Eslandola, btw - at least, not if you can find some way to make money from it! ) Also, no need to put the free-build number or the nation in the title anymore as the approval system is over now!
  2. Love the expressions on those guys' faces and the amount of character you were able to put into the Stubborn Stern "boldly running away"! The background looks quite nice as well, overall this is definitely an improval over last time! It would probably be better with a bunch of light trans-blue studs, but I do kind of like the minimalistic approach you have
  3. Awesome trees and wonderful vegetation, Gideon, and the minifig posing is not disappointing! Great idea with those blow-pipes as well! I prefer the pics without the flash though, as it seems to mess with the idea conveyed by the build that it is in the middle of a large forest - in which case there would be no sunlight coming from an angle like that, but instead it would be coming down from above through the canopy of the trees. Maybe if you could increase the light bouncing off the ceiling that would give it a more in-forest aspect Great job and excellent entry overall!
  4. Very nice MOC depicting a not-very-nice MRCA result! The ribs and the planks and spars are excellent, and that tidbit about the Captain's hat (and the King's Port Advertizer part) were pretty funny! Great fig posing as well!
  5. You've really captured the imposingly powerful look with all those cannons, Maxim, and the crows' nests all over are really neat as well! Those (now) Eslandolan vikings are really cool too! An yes, you really cut it close with this one!
  6. Awesome intro vig, Dzoni, the fireplace, furniture, chair - in short, everything - is lovely, and the little details like the pipe and tilted book make the scene more realistic and wonderful! Looking forward to your future builds!
  7. No need to start worrying! On the contrary I suspect that Corrington will be quite glad if their friendly neighboring king were to be seated in Grandoleon! Their queen can hardly be offended by Eslandola's having a possible quarrel with Oleon at least...
  8. Monthly Free Build Registration Thread April 1st, 2016 to May 1st, 2016 What is this thread? This is the thread where YOU register your free build, besides submitting it via the webform. So, why are we doing this again? This thread is both an index of builds so that they may be easier to find for members, and a backup for the Economic Game System. What do I need to do? Simply write the following information in a NEW post: Name of MOC linked to the thread | Name of Builder | Faction you belong to IE: Smuggler's Cove | Kai NRG | Eslandola Write no more. Note: All free builds must have their own thread, and there must be a link to that thread provided here. After you are finished making a thread, make sure to report your free build via the monthly webform so that you can get credit for it! Remember, if this build is going to have an Economic Game System component (IE you are going to buy a license and make money off the property) you will need to fill out either a Property License Form or a Ship License Form. Do not comment on builds in this thread, please do that on the MOC’s own thread. Can I just post in my faction thread and leave it at that? Um... No. Can I put up an entry for another faction member's build? If that builder has disappeared and we are getting near the end of the month, this would be allowed. Is this just a copy of GoH's free build registration thread? No! I don't have any idea what made you think it is. The idea was a completely original one and has absolutely nothing to do with GoH's one. (Yes, actually it is ) Why does this look a lot like the previous ones? Because it is the same, that's why Previous Months: January's Free Build Registration Thread February's Free Build Registration Thread March's Free Build Registration Thread
  9. Fantastic work, KB! The palisade, roof, fire, and crows-nest are superb, and the activity is really amazingly dynamic as well! - and I can't imagine how much trouble that would be in LDD! My favorite picture is the last one though - the beach, water, and those incredible palm trees are just stupendous!
  10. Very nice house, PhadeOut, great job, especially with the interior and the balcony! The table and stairs (which are often left out as they take up a lot of room!) on the first story are excellent, and the whole upstairs, but particularly the chair and green and gold accents, are superb! from the leadership!
  11. Very nice work Sir Stig, the steeple and bell are excellent, and the blue roof and stained glass look great as well!
  12. Very nice build kabel, lovely dark brown roof (dark brown is usually lovely! ), and excellent work with the stained glass window as well! However, as Bregir mentioned, the way the sand green wall sticks out a bit farther looks a bit odd - or is it going to be part of something bigger? As to the story, intrigue, intrigue all the way!
  13. Awesome forced perspective, TS, and very nice cannon and palisade as well, really lovely MOC in every respect! As to the background being out of focus, you may try getting it in focus next time, but you will find that it actually looks far better and more realistic like this, and conveys the FP much better! Great job!
  14. Wow, quite the run this time! I do feel sorry for KB and the MCTC though! Now to go find out what ships Eslandola has left! With the captured ships it didn't really go too bad for the faction though...
  15. Nice entry, Phred, that first shot is really awesome! Great job with the roof and angled house as well!
  16. Very nice and lively build, LJ, and the colors and architecture are superb as well! The white building is excellent in particular, and that medium flesh and tan wall is great (you can hardly go wrong with medium flesh! ) Great job!
  17. Sounds good, VK, welcome to Mitgardia and looking forward to your story!
  18. Kai is correct, Ska is the one to look too (I was just stating what I believed to be already the consensus of the leadership, but for all practical purposes, follow Ska!) I am not sure if Ska was saying that sistershipping is allowed when a vessel is captured or not though, or if he was just saying that the rule is kept for the good of the game (but only when a ship is sunk) - Ska?
  19. Oh boy, way too many questions to answer all at once! Alright then - first, a ship once MOCed is still an MOCed ship after a capture. This means the person that captures it is not required to build the captured ship (unless they want to for an MRCA results build or something, but it is not necessary). Only in the case that someone captures an NPC vessel is a build required for the vessel to be used in the MRCA (this is a building game after all! The point is to get better at building, not to have a large fleet of unMOCed ships ) Secondly, the free first Class 1 or 2 licence is only for those who have no ships licenced at all. I don't see how anyone could think they were gaming the system running around with class 1 or 2 ships that they built each month and licenced for free on reckless expeditions, while their neighbors are roving the waters in class 7 Ts And the idea of the free licence is only to get people started faster, not to provide insurance against the sea. If you want DBs with minimal risk, stay on the land! (not to say you can't build ships, just don't spend your money licencing them if you are not prepared for the risks). The first couple of sentences in the MRCA thread should have made that plenty clear Thirdly - sisterships are not supposed to be roving all over the seas. A captured vessel is not sunk - sisterships are only provided in the case of sunk ships. I believe there is a provision around somewhere stating how someone may ransom their ship from an NPC nation/pirate which captured it (e.g., Dr. Spock's first ship in the first MRCA round), so you may contact the leadership if your ship has been captured by an NPC vessel and you would like to random it. However, licencing a sistership while the first ship is in the possession of an NPC nation would be a no-go (if this actually happens, and you have a particular reason why you would like a sistership, you would at least have to contact the game leaders for that case). The other questions will have to wait until I have time/remember them all Hope that answers some of them at least!
  20. Excellent FP, Capt. Wolf, the micro ship is probably my favorite detail here, but the fortress (and micro-fort ) are great too! Very nice take on this challenge!
  21. Boy, that guy sure does look awfully happy for a situation like this! Very nice depiction of your MRCA results (I was going to say great build, but it is more tactful posing than building ), and beautiful photography as usual!
  22. Excellent build Mike, the fort, battery, and crane are all very nice, but what really makes this build are those mangroves growing around the walkway! I do think the build overall would be quite improved by a nice border, but then that third picture almost makes me say it couldn't get any better! It could use a border though...
  23. Very funny MRCA results, Blackdeathgr! That boat with the black sails really is very cool though and is giving me some awesome ideas, if I only had one in black I'd probably be off and building probably right now! Might just have to try it in brown or something...
  24. Very nice ship, Legostone, that figurehead is excellent (), and the hull looks great, as do the rigging and sails! Glad to here that our new islands are becoming more protected!
