  1. Oh. Why then, of course they were paid!
  2. (It is unknown if we paid them for that too It's more likely that we charged them for it though... )
  3. Thanks Exetrius, although 8x8 towers aren't really my thing, I was still pretty happy with how it turned out! The second tree in the photography section actually had to be added later as there was no way the first one would hold up the next story by itself! Thanks! I had used that (although the slope on the front was not there before) and pretty much all of the desk a few years ago on the Time Ship collab with Kai NRG, and I thought it had turned out rather well so I went ahead and used it here again - and I still use the same desk and computer as then! Thanks SA! Glad you like it!
  4. How many of those are there in the world anyways? Ha, ha! No, no, I mean important ones! I knew this is what I would have to do if I got this category of the MOCathalon, and I did get it, so here it is! Stories: 1. PAB wall 2. Sorting (I actually cleared the table off for this pic, since I really liked the room, and the sorting just looked like a mess - which, really, is about what sorting usually looks like in real life...) 3. Building 4. Photography 5. Uploading (on that right now!) 6. Brick Separator Details: Disclaimer: Well, actually, I do have a real life too... but I would hardly call that my occupation, haha! :P Thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome!
  5. Excellent ship Bregir, beautiful shaping and color-scheme here, and the rigging and sails are great as well! Some of my favorite details are the cannon and their ports (though I would support tiling the bottom of those if you had the pieces), and the anchor's position. I'm looking forward to that frigate like Captain Cooke!
  6. Woohoo, thanks a lot Ecc!
  7. Beautiful build, Ayrlego, very nice vegetation, and those trees are superb! Excellent job describing and showing the process as well, and awesome photography as usual! Looking forward to the factory! @Captain Dee, Alright, remind me not to try anything that strong then! (Just one more reason to be happy you live when you do... )
  8. Thanks all! Thanks Mike! Thanks a lot Gideon! Thanks Umbra, glad you like it! Thanks ME! When I got this category in the MA, using it over here was one of my first thoughts... and my second was that finding out exactly what symbols to use and how to build them was going to be some work! Thanks!
  9. Good point - however, as a leader should be in both PMs there shouldn't be a problem with that, though I rather doubt that would happen anyhow Adding a rule specifying against such possible conflict of interests may be a good idea though.
  10. The PM thread for Eslandola's team is now up and running, so fire away at will!
  11. They are always worth 5
  12. Very nice build with lovely architecture and color-scheme, DL, and, as others have stated, your minifigs are excellent, and the whole scene has a great bustling atmosphere! Great job!
  13. Very nice posing and awesome explosion, JN - I must admit that your title puzzled me for a minute though!
  14. Looks very good, BrickOn, looking forward to seeing that finished!
  15. Very nice MRCA result indeed, the story is told excellently through the pictures and words! And it looks like the captain may actually be able to avoid losing his job at the MCTC if he gets ransomed!
  16. Thanks all! Thanks Titus! After a lot of fiddling I was quite happy with how the motto turned out! Thanks Kai! The FP pic was one of my favorites as well! Ha, ha, thanks Captain B! Glad you like it! I wouldn't say that it was necessarily the most difficult thing in the build, but it was pretty close!
  17. Ahem! Privateers... Besides, attacking pirates can hardly be considered a piratical action!
  18. Very nice courtroom - erm, well, kind of, I guess! - Kwatchi, the Nexo shield looks great for the window there, and group of figs and platforms are excellent as well!
  19. Excellent build, Ayrlego, and while the rock-work does look a bit blocky to me (using more slopes and less large-ish bricks would help with that), the vegetation is simply superb! Beautiful work with that half-battery as well, the tilted walls are excellent, as is the use of Bregir's technique for the gun carriages!
  20. And a free-build from me again (finally!), Uridius Dratiphe's Coat of Arms
  21. It has been a while since Sir Uridius Dratiphe has been around in Mitgardia - however, that is (partly) because he has been occupied in fixing a huge shield with his coat of arms upon his castle's walls. The heraldic symbols on the Dratiphe coat of arms consist of: Gauntlet - strong and prepared Scales - justice Anvil - honor Arrows - readiness for war Motto - Omnia Praesignis Est (if you want to know what it means, look it up for yourself!) Further, there's all the color stuff and the cornered shield, but I won't bother you with what all that means right now! You see, I actually did put a lot more work into this than it looks like! This is my entry to the Coat of Arms category on MOCathalon, and when I started it, I figured I could make it so that it would work here as well as Uridius' coat of arms. Thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome!
  22. Neat whale oil factory, Dr_Spock, the roof over those barrels is very nice, and the rest of the stages in the progress are well represented as well (well, as far as I know, that is! )! That palm tree and the white fence just work here too, though I can't say I know exactly why!
  23. As Kurigan mentioned, those sails are certainly what stand out here, but the large flag, figurehead, and stern are quite nice as well!
  24. The ETWC has placed a bid on La Raenette
