  1. Great job. Are you able show a little more about how you installed the drive to the front axle and the re-positioning of the steering mechanics. 42077 reminds me a lot of 8081 in its ability to take a number of internal mechanical modifications. As I prepare to make my own MOD of 42077, I am interested to know a little more about how you solved some of the space issues for the front.
  2. I agree with this. Building with Jr. Thirdwiggs has been a jolt to my love of Lego. They are also forcing me to build stronger MOCs...which can't be a bad thing.
  3. I didn’t think the wheels would be such a point of conversation. I tried the dark red, but they looked a little too heavy. I’ll post a photo when I am back home. I consider myself an avid brick link browser, but the white wheels are new to me. I didn’t even think about that as an option. I may need to try that. @I_Igor I made the choice for the larger front wheels and tires consciously. The 56s looked too small, as it seems to convey a larger series tractor. It also took away the ability for front PTO and drawbar as it would lower the wheel center by a stud.
  4. I'm getting a little behind on posting some of the projects I have finished. Either way, here is a mid sized manual tractor, based (can't we get some red medium sized wheels) of the Claas Atos. A full gallery may be found on Flickr, and much more at thirdwigg.com. Features: Rear wheel drive Steering 3 cylinder engine Front PTO Front Drawbar Rear PTO with on/off Rear Drawbar a couple of implements, more coming (probably)
  5. Great Job. This is my kind of build. I love the rear fenders, and the addition of the small tool box on the right. I'm working on something with drop sides as well, and I might take some of your ideas. Is there space to add a rear differential? Maybe a 1 or 2 cylinder engine?
  6. Glad you like it. It's still sitting on my desk as work, since I can't bring myself to take it apart.
  7. Very Cool. I have shut down my own 250/251 projects because I could not get the armored panels to look good enough for my eyes. You did a good job here, and scale worked well for the functions in the MOC. Look forward to seeing more.
  8. @tomek9210 The gearbox in the Veyron is the same one used in my ATS. Send me a PM, and I can help you on the design, or you can check this picture out.
  9. I love the slurry tank, and would like to see more of the of the implement on the first tractor. Also, I know the front exhaust pipe was not accurate for the 42054 model year, but it looks so cool and it was a missed opportunity for TLG. I'm glad you added it. This set screams for added trailers and implements. Great job.
  10. @Didumos69 Right, the ratios or only for the gearbox, the other gears for the rest of the driveline work well currently, so I won't change those. I'll need to make some changes to the frame to accommodate the gear changes, but that should not be too much of a problem. Again, thanks for your help.
  11. @Didumos69 Thanks. This is the kind of help I needed. To your assumptions: Yes, you are looking at the left of the gearbox. The close side is 1st and 2nd gear. The 16 tooth gear in the back is for the steering, so it can be disregarded for this conversation. Your render confirms my fears, basically, my current installation (photo) is backwards. I'll switch the gears to be like they are shown in the render, and have the output be the 20t gear, as it will link to a 16t on the crankshaft. If I understand correctly, this will give me the following: 1:3 5:9 1:1 5:3 Thanks for your help.
  12. Great build again. I love the front seats. And the folding rear seats made me smile. I love these kind of details. Also the black looks great, and those headlights are prefect.
  13. OK, I have been looking at this for far too long. After too many transmission designs, I'm not sure this does what I want it too. See below: Are the ratios in this 4 speed transmission in the correct order? Input to engine to engine is the black 20t gear on the left. Output to rear axle is the DBG 8t gear on the right. Is everything right? What do I need to change?
  14. Sorry I could not participate this time. Great entries all. 24: 1014: 610: 411: 32: 216: 1
  15. Sorry to bump this after a couple of years, but instructions are now available here.
  16. That's the one. From the Lego Technic Facebook.
  17. The hub at 0:14 in the video is the same rear hub as in the past. Coupled with 4185 Pulley wheel the old hub and new wheel can be connected. I'm not yet convinced of new hubs. Remember how excited we were at this point with 42056. I'm keeping my expectations low until I am proved otherwise.
  18. I am starting to think the only way I get any of these is with Rebrick or TC contest. Those prices!
  19. The W engine design from the video seems a little too basic for me. Very surprised by the pins in the wheels. They are going in the wrong direction by making wheels and hubs more proprietary, first with the 911, now with this. Hmmmm.
  20. It was well deserved. Thanks for your participation on this forum. We look forward to more fun builds.
  21. Great job. I love the size, and the functions. The black looks great as well. Picture of the underside?
  22. Winter in the northern hemisphere for me means building, so I am hard at work on a number of different things. The Cat 914K is about done, and the Claas Atos is done. Now I am working on a couple of implements. Also, why not start another Unimog?
  23. Ooo, I like the bigger wheels, and the red looks nice. I keep coming back to the original build. It's a great one, I added it to my top 17 of 2017 list. I think I may need to add to my "build this" list.
