  1. Looks great. It will be great to see how this fairs with other trucks in an outdoor environment.
  2. @Oliver 79 I'm glad you like it. The upside down systems bricks were from some old MOCs. I didn't want to make a another order just to flip them the other way.
  3. So fun. It's events like this that make me wish my country was not so geographically large, and had a larger Technic presence. I would love to participate in these kind of competitions with like minded friends on a regular basis.
  4. I don't like spending time photo editing, and I have a love for Orange parts.
  5. Instructions are up, and my be viewed here. Go nuts @Bartybum You can now build the Loader, or tell me all the ways my design should be improved. @WvG_853 I added a steering wheel. As I my time is being splintered into a number of responsibilities, I most likely will not add a part list, but if anyone wants to compile a list, feel free.
  6. @mpj I tried some linkages that worked a little better, but I couldn’t get a mounting that stayed together. This worked well enough. Some panels would have been a good idea. @AFOLegofan66 glad you liked it. I took photos for the instructions today. I’ll post them on Monday.
  7. This is great. Well done on using simple solutions based on the parts you had available. The suspension and engine are great examples. The coloring looks great, and the general proportions of the MOC are great (My Unimog bias is coming out again). Looking forward to more builds.
  8. @jorgeopesi I get it. It was hard for me to get around the purist tendencies for the tires, but they have been perfect for a couple of my MOCs. I'm still holding out for TLG to come up with something better. I'm not holding my breath.
  9. Wow. Thanks all for the positive response. @Bartybum, it shouldn't be to hard to get some instructions up. I am not working this whole week, so give me a couple of days. I hate putting together part lists, so you may be on your own for that. @jorgeopesi I'm with you on the pneumatics, but I feel like building things that I dislike is character development. Or something like that. Looking forward to see your loader finished. @WvG_853 Egad! You're right, it should have a steering wheel. I'll add it for the instructions. The gear on the back bumper is to drive the fake I4 engine. I'll try to post a driveline schematic as well to make it more clear. And a simple plug for @rm8 who supplies those FisherTechnik tires. I'm using them all the time now, and I'll post another MOC with them later this week. I used to be a purist until I found these tires. They're great.
  10. I have been working on this project for what seems like forever. I'm happy to have it done. The full gallery can be found here. Much more at thirdwigg.com. Full Lift With TLG Balloon Tires Chassis
  11. I agree. While functionally, both are simple, the B look like something that could happen, and the A seems to have too much visual embellishment.
  12. I'm liking this one. That little 2 cylinder engine is my kind of style. The tow truck looks pretty good. I was hoping we might get a yellow panel #21 and #22 with this or the Volvo, but no luck.
  13. I just ordered the 20t gears from Brick and Pieces too. I have to have them now! The Chiron I am more on the fence about...
  14. @Ludo Visser I'm happy to have a little bit of influence on your build. Keep it up, I like where this is going.
  15. @deehtha We should do a MOD 8081 contest. It might only be me and @rm8 who participate, but we would have some fun. I like having more constraints for contests, but counting parts is hard. That's why I like the size constrictions a little more. I very much in enjoyed the 10,000 cubic studs of TC9.
  16. I'm with @Erik Leppen on this. #2 is focused enough to give some direction and constraints, and #1 is not very interesting to me.
  17. @Saberwing40k thanks for the shout out. I would love a contest to recreate another non-Technic LEGO set. How fun would it be to see a Technic rendition of 6923, 6898, 6335, or even 6059. Sign me up.
  18. TLG just posted some podcasts about the car and design process. I have gotten through a couple, and they are worth a listen to learn a little more about the collaboration.
  19. Is it a leak if it's available?
  20. @Tommy Styrvoky a 20t clutch gear may be the best thing about this set. And almost worth the $350 price. Almost.
  21. Another fun MOC. The engine looks great, and I love the drooping slope of the rear trunk. Great job again.
  22. I'm so excited about this. Thanks for your work on this @rm8 Are both tire types available now? I only see the Rock Crusher now.
  23. Gosh, looking at the dates of this project, I can tell I'm not a speedy builder. I any case, I have brought this back off the shelf to work on some things. I like building cars, but doing the body work is always hard for me. I get stalled and at times, frustrated. So I lose motivation, and 6 months go by without any progress. The rear body of the car didn't work for my eyes, so I took it off, and tried some new parts. It's rough, but I think I like the lines a little better. The roof curves a little better now to my eyes. I'm not sure about the flex axle along the roof yet. I lacking a good idea for the B pillar. And C pillar. And if I'm being honest, the A pillar too. Ugh. Still at lot of work to do, but I'm pleased to pick the project back up again.
  24. I currently have 4 MOCs that are about 80% complete, which proves my lack of focus. I would love to finish all of them, like tomorrow. But looking through the dates of past updates, it's unlikely. The Unimog 437, is close to being done. This is the short wheel base version with all the same hardpoints as the long wheel base version. Supercars frustrate me. I love working on the driveline, but the body work stalls me (see super sedan as well.) I am pleased enough with were this is at and that I will finish it, but it may take some more time. Thanks to @Didumos69 the transmission works perfectly now.
  25. I'm liking those side sills. The rear is a little choppy, particularly the diffuser, but I'm excited to see where this goes.
