  1. Soon. I'll do a part count and produce the pictures and the video this weekend.
  2. Bricklink changed my life. Make sure you set aside some cash.
  3. I am already imagining the swooshing motions (and sounds) I will make with the plane.
  4. So how early is too early for posting my Triple entry?
  5. It is great we have some interesting parts in a small set. The suspension on the Snowmobile will be very useful. Think about using those parts in a Helicopter swashplate. I am also excited we have sets that are not only red and yellow. The amount of blue parts is significant. Also the little helicopter turned out better than I thought it would.
  6. I am still trying to access the website. Is this posted elsewhere?
  7. Does anyone have information about Barman's Technic Transformer? I am interested to know more about it.
  8. Right. It would be interesting to know what percentage we, AFOLs, make of the Technic sales. I would suspect it is smaller, so creating sets for young people (and small budgets) should still be the priority.. A huge crane would be awesome, but the volume would not be attractive to TLG. TLG can still appease us by creating new parts.
  9. I agree, Blue looks very sharp in MOCs, so it will be nice to have some more colors.I am happy with the size, and I like that the PF is an add on. To many of the Technic sets are creeping too high in cost, partly because of PF. While the truck looks a little clunky for me (mostly in the back), many models looked better in person, than in TLG photos (8081, 8110, 8069, and even 9398 come to mind).
  10. The Harvester is pretty cool. It looks like we have our first entry.
  11. Two of the Three Technic Triple Mocs are done. I might be a little early to this contest. Any guesses?
  12. It looks pretty nice. It's not clear to me, does it come with Power Functions, or is this what happens when you add the Power Pack?
  13. Neat idea. Glad to know some fun projects are being designed.
  14. I love the training arm rear suspension. It's a design not used quite enough.
  15. You understood correctly. That might work the best. I think with a pin stud, it might get the correct height. It does not need to support much weight.
  16. No, it's a pin hole. @nikolyakov, I was looking for something more Technic-y, but that could work. Also a little more "off-road" would be nice.
  17. I am looking for an idea for a small trailing caster wheel for my Triple project. Something like this. I hope to have the wheel have a total height of about three studs and mounted to a plate. I have a solution, but it does not pivot. A pivot would be much better. I hope to use this wheel. I would be grateful for any solutions.
  18. I used a spring for the trunk of my large sedan that might help. The key was complex linkage for the hinge. See here. I added a damped spring, which made the opening and closing very smooth.
  19. I am also guessing dyno, but I hope it is the base of a parade float.
  20. Agreed. Placing a 16t gear on a pin rather than an axle would be great at times.
  21. The blue and lime work well together. Thanks for sharing.
  22. Do you plan to use this setup in a full car? With a little strengthening and modification for wheels, this set up might prove beneficial.
  23. This is a great challenge. Thanks for posting this. I will have to try to do something very unique, including a machine never done in Lego before. The part count might be a little bit of a challenge.
