While I do think that this ship might have benefited from fewer colors, the overall junky effect really works here! I especially like the green roof and great choice of shape for the sails. What I could do without is the white stripe and the dashes of blue; but the imaginative shape you've chose is great!

A very peaceful scene, the grass looks great and the olive for the roof is excellent! +1 for the UoP credits!

The first part is hilarious. And I'm wondering what Brickinson has been up to to get in such trouble!

Very nice curved roof and the wall texture is great! Neat touch with the clothesline as well! And the lime green, olive, and pink go together splendidly!

The blending of sand green and light grey makes for a really good color combo, one that I'm totally going to need to try out! The little stable off to the side is really nice as well and gives this a playset feel, as does the opening wall!

Fantastic work! Love the sandscaping, and the architecture is just splendid! The bit of swamp and the streak of vegetation adds a ton as well! Great textures too; it almost looks as if the castle had just risen up out of the sand.

You're improving by leaps and bounds here Titus! The brown houses go well with the light grey walls and I really like the shape you've chosen. Keep up the good work!

New Islands Information Part II: Prio Seas.
Kai NRG replied to Dannylonglegs's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Considering everything else that went into this, this might sound dumb, but I really like your wrinkled blue sheet for water. -
Keep up the humor.

Very nice layout, the little bit of surrounding rock and greenery add a lot. Great work on the walls too! +1 for the UoP credit!

Yes. I think a rat upset a tray of type or two. Unfortunately the all important information regarding the Eslandian ships of the line appears to have been among that. As it would of course be taken as a direct insult were the results to be published with such a gross omission, the Advertiser will have to wait while the apprentices go on a wild rat chase.

Reports are slowly trickling in... a trusty correspondent of mine writes that he has seen the type set up at the Advertiser's office...

Sweet shaping here. Looks very pirate-y! I think a bit more effort to tile the deck more thoroughly would have improved it (right now that jars a bit with the very clean & smooth hull), but your choice of colors works splendidly!

[COR - Aug FB3] The 'Red' School, Weelond
Kai NRG replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Really nice colors and architectural style! I also like the modular aspects of this build, and the chili bush out back is great! Nice to see a bit of education being brought to Weelond as well! -

A slight change has been made to the town bank rules: Town Bank: Every property built within a settlement gives the town bank 5 DB per month. A settlement will also receive 5 DB per month for every property in its hinterland (area surrounding the city). These DBs do not come out of the owner’s pocket. When a settlement is successfully raided the bank pays the raiding sum. Half of the bank's total funds are available for public projects each month; leftover money from that 50% will be saved. The mayor may allocate these funds towards public works, buildings, festivals, building initiatives, paid positions, defense, taxes to the faction government, troop maintenance, etc. The other half of the funds accumulate until the settlement is raided, at which time they may be seized as booty depending upon the roll of the dice. Example: New Belson holds town status. It's town bank has 150 DBs each month. It was successfully raided and 30% was deducted from the bank, leaving 100DBs. The mayor may allocate 50DBs (50%) toward public projects. The other 50DBs were left to accumulate for a future booty stash. In this case, the mayor spent 20DBs on a festival, leaving 30DBs for next month. So next month, New Belson starts with 180DBS (provided no extra properties have been added. This means that next month the town bank will divide the 180 DBs between "Public Projects" and "Booty Stash."

Superb curves here! The interior looks great as well, lovely vegetation. Great idea with the mosaic too!
-
The lava curves here are stellar, and I really like the way the monster is gripping the walls and sticking his head and tail out. You've achieved some very dynamic action here. Great work!
-
Great collaborative effort, so many neat details and a very impressive final product. The angled houses and wall really make this look natural, and fantastic snowscaping. I think the green dragons detract slightly from what is otherwise pretty realistic, but the giant mountain adds a great bit of height variation.
-
The mottled sand green and light grey go together excellently... I think I know what I'll be doing with the sand green I just got! Nice use of bar pieces for detailing and the tudor section really pops.

In the tab that opens up when you click your name at the top there's an option that says "Content you follow." That should help you out.

@mccoyed, I always follow topics I start. If you've done that, it's a handy way to find your stuff (provided you don't follow a whole bunch of other threads as well).

The overgrowth here is great, it does a wonderful job of covering up those big prefab rock parts! Nice touch with the spider's web as well!
