  1. Voting is closed and the winner is Corrington with 23 to 15 votes! Single best build, Jacob Nion with 19 and Captain Dee in a close second with 15. Congratulations! Carno has recognized the error of its ways and apologizes for the oversight in having issued a letter of Marque against Corrington (though it makes no promises as to the future). Carno will return the HMS Bullshark to Corrington. All builders will be awarded 10 DBs. If Queen Annette is willing to further reward her brave defenders, she is quite free to do so, out of her own coffers.
  2. Expanding your previous scene was a great idea, I really like your add-on! The shack is great. Where are those lavender stems from?
  3. Great vig Capt Braunsfeld, I really like how clean and simple it is but still lots of neat details! The chandelier is really nice too!
  4. A great challenge to build with large simplistic pieces, and it really worked well! The incomplete attachments for the stone blocks are really good too!
  5. This thread is where most of the lore for other countries is (there's not a whole lot, admittedly); there's also the Namere build-off, the Carno build-off, and the Mardier build-off, which I suppose each have a little smattering in them.
  6. The colorful trees really make this MOC pop! Love the olive too and great textures!
  7. Yes, as per the rules to establish a TC you have to make those three builds. Each faction may have additional rules (like getting permission/a charter). No one has attempted to participate in two TCs yet that I know of, so I guess I don't know exactly what the rule for that is (whether you can or can't). I certainly don't think anyone would be allowed to head two TCs.
  8. Small builds can be every bit as awesome as big builds, maybe not as jaw dropping, but still beautiful. I definitely want to have a good smattering of those in the posters.
  9. Thanks guys for all the suggestions! I have been making a list, so please do not just edit your posts with more suggestions - that makes it hard for me to tell what's been added - just post again if you run across some more!
  10. IDK. Maybe the fact that you'd probably be kicked out of the game? If you think it's necessary, we could probably add explicitly to the rules that a person can only be a member of one TC, but that seems to have been understood.
  11. A TC is basically an individual. It has an account, so just use it's name in the license form.
  12. Any suggestions as to what should go on our GoH promotional posters? We're looking for 20 or so builds from each guild for a total of 5 posters; one for each guild and one overall. If you have suggestions we'd love to see them! Please post below with a link to the build's topic and a picture of the build. Soccerkid, LittleJohn, and myself will act as what-do-you-call-it (poster committee? ) for this stage of the process. I.e. we will make the decisions as to what goes onto the posters and what doesn't. (If the two of you don't mind. It was sort of your idea, so you've been drafted. ) We will ask for comments on our rough drafts and the final posters will of course be presented to the GoH leaders for approval. The plan is for me to do the actual poster editing work; though if anyone else wants to volunteer that would be great. The goal will be to have these done before the start of Book III. Well, I have a feeling that might be a while, so we may be a bit early. But anyways!
  13. In fact it was easier than I had expected because only you and Puvel had to be switched so I didn't have to adjust the votes manually. Done anyhow!
  14. Good point. Sorry about that. Somehow I missed that reading the stories (I read them all backwards too) and then of course missed it here. I think it would be easier not to change it, but if the Corrington team thinks the mistake might affect their score, it can be done. Let me know please.
  15. Hear ye, hear ye! Corrington and Carno have each presented their case! Now it is up to you to decide. Which terrific trio will win the day and sit down in the Pine Tree throne? Please base your vote on which group of three builds, taken together, is best. Consider the following criteria: The stories. The presentation. And most importantly, the builds. Several of these MOCs are more than meet the eye upon first glance; so we encourage you to check out each MOC's thread and spend a bit of time considering your decision. Also, please remember that each team was asked to incorporate each of the following in their total of three builds, and please take into consideration their effectiveness in doing so: The Jury Queen Annette Pine Trees Captain Whoknowswho Please do not vote based on: Your opinion of which side of the case is right in character. Your personal preference for Corrington or Carno. The poll has two questions: one is Corrington vs. Carno; the other pits all six builders against each other and is simply for fun. No DBs at stake, nothing at all except for the builder's ego. So, without further ado! Corrington presents! 1) Puvel - "Protecting Her Majesty's Honor" 2) Captain Dee - "Her Majesty's Melodic Musings" 3) Bregir - "In Her Majesty's Diplomatic Service" Carno presents! 4) Maxim I - A Brilliant Idea! But... 5) Garmadon - Dashing Out 6) Jacob Nion - A Matter of the Heart That's all, folks!
  16. Sounds like Capt. Whoknowswho is quite the villain! Very nice build, I really like the bright yellow!
  17. Really nice camp set up! Good work on the trees as well!
  18. Really like the story so far! The gold on this makes it look really rich, and the curtains and the overhanging flowers and vegetation and stuff are excellent!
  19. Very nice double scene. The blue through the window is a really nice touch, and I really like how you sandwiched the black semi-circles in there!
  20. Love the wood paneling on the back! The statues are great as well. Pretty funny story too!
  21. Very nice build, the road technique works nicely here, and I really like those trees! Really like the last picture of just the king!
  22. Very funny story. Nice job on the rug!
  23. Attention all Eslandians! June is our month for hearing court cases, so if anyone has anything, shoot the ESL leaders a PM.
  24. Very glad you did this, those pictures are 100% better (not perfect, but still, 100% better than before!). This ship deserved the better shots; I'm liking it's smoothness even more now!
  25. Very cool ship, I like the shape you've achieved and the gold on the back really pops!
