Checked box sizes of past years 42031 - Platform - 15.7 x 14 x 0.61 cm, Ages 7-14 (42020, 42001) - very small 42032 - Compact Track Loaders - 26.2 x 14 x 0.48 cm, Ages 8-14 (42010, 42011) 42033 - Action Rocket Car - 26.2 x 14 x 0.48 cm, Ages 7-14 (42010, 42011) 42034 - Action Quad - 28.2 x 14 x 0.61 cm, Ages 7-14 -cant find such box sizes in the past. It is thicker than previous action set. May it is because of larger tires on quad 42035 - Dump truck - 26.2 x 19 x 0.77 cm, Ages 9-16 (8046) 42036 - Street Motorcycle - 35.4 x 19 x 0.70 cm, Ages 9-16 (42007, 42022) - the same size as previous bikes:) 42037 - Formula Off-Roader - 28.2 x 26 x 0.70 cm, Ages 9-16 (42005, 9393) - too small for tumbler tires. Wheels will be 68 mm max IMHO 42038 - Arctic Tracked Vehicle - 48 x 28.2 x 0.74 cm, Ages 10-16 (42023, 42024) 42039 - Long-Distance Race Car - 48 x 37.8 x 0.94 cm, Ages 11-16 (42008, 42000) - hope designers used Tumbler tires here

Are you sure that this "cars" not "car"? If it contain two cars, ot could be a pull back challenge set
-
I think that "Action" sets 42033, 42034 are pull back racers Dump truck should be a Volvo loader scale to play together:) Formula offroad could use Tumbler wheels, because they are round shaped as sand offroaders use.

bad: RLT1 picture is empty You should optimize video for shorter time, for example, you dont need to show how FOX rotates 1,5 cirlces for 20 seconds. Half circle is enough. Cut unneeded uninformative parts of video good: navigate bar is a good idea- 4 replies

Tire 13 x 24 compound
rm8 replied to Doc_Brown's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Yeah, there are grippy like modern tires on 8071 and plastic non-grippy. I use non-grippy for drift. But since it is with deep thread - they are very noisy while drifting. -
Congratulations to all contestants, and to the winners! Jim, thank you for organizing this contest. Really good idea of MINI. It is hard to cheat (illegal technique) while building mini models, so all models looks smart and sturdy like official sets! Cant imagine what will be more interesting than MINI contest...:) W3ird_N3rd, very clever stats;)

Piterx, are you sure your transmission can handle such big wheels without wheel hubs? Or this car is for flat floor only?- 18 replies

My review Sorry, my post was the slowest. Get it too late and have to rebuild current MOCS to Servo engine (M motor is not working well as Sariel noted, but problem will be solved)- 780 replies

SBrick General Discussion
rm8 replied to Nofer89's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
F1 need not only spare tires) also Sbricks I guess they mororized all functions including engine cover lift and spoiler adjustment. And car is propelled by 2 or more motors.- 780 replies

Again, thanks for such nice comments - It was suprise for me, because usually cars are not enought complex to show all the beauty of LEGO, even in such small size. And I cant built such complex construction machnines as other contestants done. I see Toyota-lovers here . That is great, because I am working on new Yotas in larger scale. And some of them almost ready LDD Instruction of current Mini MOC will be shared at rebrickable.com
