Building a GBC is completely new for me, but it's tempting to join this contest. First thing is to order some balls, looked at Bricklink, but these balls are relatively expensive for a GBC rookie . Then found this article: https://www.planet-gbc.com/get-started-with-gbc/get-the-gbc-balls/ the "Quercetti Marbles Refill" seems a cheap and readily available alternative. Any experiences or tips around this subject? Thnks!

This John Deere 3200 Telehandler is my alternate for the 42136-1 - John Deere 9620R 4WD Tractor, it uses 90% of the parts of the donor set. The Telehandler features the following functions: • Rear wheel steering (with Ackermann Geometry). • Boom raising/lowering, the linkage locks in the highest position. • Fork tilting, operated with the upper boom. • Cabin with some details and door which can be opened/closed. The tipper is a modified version of the original version: • With tailgate added. • An alternative linkage for tipping the load (because of part limitations). • And the same kind of walking beam suspension as the original tipper. I started this MOC with the steering system because the original model doesn't have the typical parts for HOG-steering. Next I continued with the cabin, boom and the rest of the model, with the pieces left over I created the tipper and also a little pallet for playability. It was a fun little project and I'm happy to deliver more functions with this MOC then the donor set! Instructions are available for free at RB: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-119452/GerritvdG/42136-john-deere-3200-telehandler/#details I also found more information about the John Deere Telehandlers, see spoiler below.

Yes, that's a nice one, also the 8043 B-model is really worth the effort! -
Well done ! Well photographed, looking forward to the video! It looks like 4WD, correct?

Cool project, nice to follow the WIP on this MOC. What is the distance between the axles and the pivot point. Seems to be 11? -
42144 - Material Handler
GerritvdG replied to Ngoc Nguyen's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
In Netherlands 101€ 42144 and 125€ for 42128 (Amazon.de) . Prices are without shipping. -
Ok, but I don’t think plan’s exists for this model, also don’t underestimate the effort needed to search and order parts for a MOC. Another idea is to start building alternatives after you finished the Volvo and the D11.. these MOCs only use parts from a specific set. For example these excellent alternates are build of the 42114 parts: https://rebrickable.com/sets/42114-1/6x6-volvo-articulated-hauler/?inventory=1#alt_builds

Welcome to Eurobricks, nice to hear that you started up again with Lego after 45 years. There have been some scraper MOCs build, but none with instructions on Rebrickable. This one on YouTube was the closest match I think.. Another approach would be to take one of your models apart and start with a small scale scraper, that would be less complex then the bigger scale of the cat and the volvo. Start with a good tire choice and just begin. Just found this MOC from @Thirdwigg with instructions which could give you some inspiration: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-4620/thirdwigg/k-tec-1233/#details

Interesting, I now see it is used in 273 sets till now, quite a common piece.... but not in Technic sets.- 5,490 replies
