  1. Maybe this is better, it turns the bed clockwise and counterclockwise with the joystick and returns to center when the joystick is released. But I'm not sure if you want the return to center functionality....
  2. This is a simple PoweredUp program You need to create three buttons (1, 0, 2) that in this examples moves moter A to a certain position -180, 0, 180 with speed 50
  3. Of course you also need to create a program, maybe I can make something if I have some time left…
  4. Really cool, looking forward to it!
  5. The code block TachoMotorSpeedPosition is the one you need, see @kbalage documentation for more information: https://racingbrick.com/powered-up-code-block-guide/ Search the guide for 'TachoMotorSpeedPosition' and click on the + icon for full documentation. Does this solves you problem? Cheers, Gerrit
  6. Tractor time! Have been working at the rear chassis, this was the original version (based on the 8849). It complied, but a differential was missing and the 24 tooth gear was at an unreachable position. This was my first attempt to improve the original version, but the worm gear at that position didn't work (of course). This is the current solution (loosely based on the mounts of @Thirdwigg) and I'm happy with the result: a differential is now driving the PTO, the pivot point of the PTO corresponds to the pivot point of the hitch, the knob is easy accessible and it folds really compact Also started with adding the details! I am really struggling with the front lights, I didn't find a suitable solution, so I left them out for now. But I'm still working on it. Next thing on my list is going back to studio and order the wheels and a smaller steering wheel. Final picture
  7. Cool little dozer, really nice details. About plastic surgery: Good luck on your thesis!
  8. Seems like a good idea, as a programmer I’m really interested in those creations!
  9. Well done, this could have been a TC22 entry I suppose? It seems it would fit in the 10000 sq studs and it truly is a pure technic build! I really like the rear implement mount and the way most of the functions can be operated with the HOG knobs on top of the cabin. Inspiring! You raised the bar again
  10. Cool idea, it’s indeed already an amazing competition and we are just started! I assume that you must fold/ unfold the crane by hand? And I see some nice little outriggers, how to they work? looks like a fun model to play with!
  11. You replicated the linkage very well, a very interesting project!
  12. Thanks @1gor, yes this helps, I was a little bit worried that the tire was bigger...
  13. Yes, completed, good luck!
  14. Thanks, yes, after some tinkering the forward slope fits this model best, now finding a way to lock that slope. Yes, in addition to the working steering wheel.
  15. My TODO list for next week: the wheel to control the raising and lowering of the hitch is now hidden below the right hand side mudguard, this must be improved the PTO is driven by the right wheel, a differential driving the PTO would be better start with finishing the cabin and the mudguards and then: add details in the exterior and interior, searching for a slightly smaller sterring wheel improving the looks, maybe experiment with some other color options in Studio... order the parts I need
  16. The high quality of the entries and the reactions on this thread really motivated me to work on my model. I have worked on the following items: made the boom and linkages for the loader; experimented with the wheel choices, for the rear-wheels this will be the Zetros tires if it still fits within the box, for the front the small tractor tires. Also considered the 70490 tires which appeared in two Creator Expert sets last year for a more classic look made the rear chassis two studs less long compared to the original 8849 to fit within the box (28 * 17 * 21 = 9996) made a first version of the cabin started with some details And last but not least, I was able to preserve all the features of the original 8849. I only have some space left in the height for some details, but there is not much margin left!
  17. Really cool entry, welcome on this forum. Your introduction reminds me of my first post last year: my entry for the TC20 contest
  18. Thanks for presenting this cool little model. I think I've never seen such a small Lego RC construction vehicle, really interesting those CADA components! This is indeed the weak point of this model. Going for a model team approach will is also a risk, I think we all appreciate a cool looking pure technic model the most! And you master this art!
  19. Nice to see such a long model, this proves how much is possible within 10000 sq studs! Good luck, seems like a long steering linkage also
  20. Thanks, for the inspiration, appreciated! Yes, I need to experiment with the headlights.... Thank you!
  21. Yes, they're not that fast, you can better come across a Fastrac Thanks again guys, this gives me a lot of inspiration . I thought about it and I will concentrate on a classic 2wd loader tractor for now. Going create a studio model right know and going to experiment with the tires choices and the sizing. And the biscuit piece is a good one, just realized that I have one in my recently second hand bought 42100.
  22. Although I can understand @Maaboo35, I have no problem with forestry equipment in this contest. The definition is difficult and I couldn’t find it on Wikipedia, the closest I can get is that of heavy equipment:https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heavy_equipment But that definition is also not perfect because a lowboy trailer falls into this definition…
  23. Nice, I was hoping you would join with a grader! And I think you have 21 studs left for height (21,97)....
