  1. Great chance that you're going to experience cracking gears. But you should buy it, great building experience and a good looking set for a fair price. This is the MOD of @jb70 that includes a lot of improvements, you just need 166 additional parts to the original set 42110-1 https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-31299/jb70/42110-pimp-up-my-land-rover/#details
  2. Well done, very interesting, keep posting these videos! How did you get interested in mechanical clocks?
  3. This is really well done, congratulations on this outstanding MOC!
  4. Good luck @jorgeopesi, I’m looking forward to the end result, hopefully you will be able to finish this soon promising dumper.
  5. Welcome to Eurobricks! Really original, I always wondered what to build with those catamaran hulls, well done!
  6. Thanks! Currently the dimensions are W x L x H: 17 x 30 x 19 = 9660 cubic studs. I need more length for the attachment and the maximum is 30.5. Yes that would also be very cool. Good for practicing my driving skills . Another idea would be a tipper driven by the PTO with a small gearbox: up-neutral-down. Will be a nice challenge...
  7. Thanks! Yes, I really want to make some before publishing instructions. I also tried to fit one in the box, but there were not enough square studs left …
  8. Thanks for the nice comments @Jundis @1gor @Maaboo35, I'm glad the design turned out well! It's a really fun project This weekend the ordered parts arrived and I rebuild the model with the correct colors, rims and wheels. Just submitted my entry topic and will add a video if time allows: we are in the middle of a renovation so my Lego is now stored at a dust free place and I will not be very active in the meantime. Best regards, Gerrit
  9. 4. Tractor Loader My entry is a generic tractor loader inspired on the classic 8849 tractor. Features: Pendular front axle HOG-steering using the exhaust Power Take Of (PTO) shaft at the rear, driven by the differential Raising/lowering three point hitch Front loader raising Front loader dumping Detailed cabin: working steering wheel, fire extinguisher, drivers seat, joystick, mirrors and work lighting Dimensions W x L x H: 17 x 30 x 19 = 9660 cubic studs Thanks all for this wonderful contest! Best regards, Gerrit
  10. Yes, this is a nice solution. I'm not sure about the big warning lights and the other orange lights on the arm. I believe your version without the orange lights was more clean and realistic... just my opinion.... Sounds like a good idea, I'm curious to see how it turns out. Nice container stacking in the video, the model seems to work really well !
  11. Thanks, good to hear that, just created a side-by-side render below! Thanks, you certainly did. After modelling this model in Stud.io and the first renders, it became visible that the wheels are not level. So the whole model was leaning back a little, so I decided to raise the whole front section with one stud. I think this works better. Also added cabin front-lights and checked the colors of all the axles and pins, changed the steering wheel to one used in the Raptor. Below a side to side comparison with the original 8849 (thanks @corboa for the LDD file). More inspired on the original then true to the original, but sharing the same features: rack and pinion steering on a pendular axle (with working steering wheel and a exhaust used as HOG) a PTO and lifting rear implements Next is ordering the missing parts and then building a final version. Also I plan to share the instructions for this model. Thanks for reading along, cheers, Gerrit
  12. Always fun! Start with exploring this guide: https://racingbrick.com/powered-up-code-block-guide/ You need to have a good understanding of the basic code blocks, in the guide are nice green '+' buttons which shows all the details for each block. Start with reading the position of the motor in a loop with this block: Send me a DM if you get stuck. Cheers, Gerrit
  13. Just want to say that the parts pack with LA subparts of @Philo works like a charm in Stud.io. Thanks!
  14. Thanks for the update, looks very promising. I follow this one with interest because 8460 was one of the two sets I get for my birthday in my childhood and I really like the subject.
  15. I'm no expert in this field, however, the gearing itself will make the drive train less efficient, so the power will be lost in the resistance of the gearing. A solution would be to use big wheels
  16. Nice update, are you planning to use a color scheme like the picture of the Liebherr 42 XXT you posted? I think the LA's are fine, very easy to operate on the outriggers.
  17. Yes, I also think the Skid Excavator is more interesting and maybe more challenging. But I understand that a loader is this scale is also much fun! Cheers, Gerrit
  18. I really like the functions, impressive! The distribution gearbox through the turntable is brilliant and is a step forward compared to the 8043 solution.
  19. Yes, the horizontal sliders are available standard, you don’t have to rotate them. looking forward to the end result!
